On October **, you "unwanted" your watchPer our terms and conditions, this means that you have decided not to proceed with the repair of your watch and opted not to pay the return shipping for itIn this case we hold on to your unrepaired watch for a period of, no longer than, one year in case you change your mind regarding either the repair or return of your watchIf you'd like to have your watch returned then you will need to pay for the return shipping of itWe offer free incoming shipping to our facility but there is a shipping charge for the return shipping in all scenariosTo note, we have your watch still, as per our policy, and once return shipping is paid for we will be happy to return it to youWith best regards

this response is not accurate I have requested the return of the watch in my email communications and also in phone conversation with their customer representatives, and indicated I would pay for return shipping I have NOT abandoned the watch Despite assurances from this company they have made NO effort to return the watch as I have requested I will pay for the return shipping, as I have now told them several times What do I have to do to initiate the return? I will gladly pay for the shipping *** would be my preference Please advise

There really is nothing further to discuss, I have presented a very fair resolution to this issue, the customer just wants to yell

We have confirmed with Cartier that your watch is with them and that it is under repairUnfortunately your repair is taking longer than expected, as can be the case with service centersYou approved your watch to be sent to the service center and the repairs to be performedWe have approved
those repairs with Cartier and we will have your watch back to you as soon as those repair are completed. We can assure you that your watch is not stolenWe have no intention of keeping your watchIn fact your watch is not at our facility since March when your service center request was approved
To note, watch repairs can take longer than expectedThe time frame we give you is an estimate based on standard repair times though some repairs can take longer, and sometimes quite a bit longer when parts are not available or discontinuedWe appreciate your patience while your watch is being repaired by Cartier

For not keeping me informed that parts were back ordered and are still on back order months and for trying to pacify me with emails that everything was on track when it obviously was not and for being without my watch for twice the amount of repair time with no completion date provided until I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, I feel I am entitled to compensation. I feel that in the very least I should be not charged for repair services on my watch as I indicated by the second part of my declaration of compensation. That is the minimum compensation I will agree to or this complaint will remain in effect

The contact in *** you gave me said the crystal in NOT available in any timeframeShow me the COPY OF THE PURCHASE ORDER. Please read my conditions to withdraw this complaint, if you do not I will continue to request my money and watch back.Your previous response said you are having it custom made please supply the name of the company that is making the crystal, contact information, and a COPY OF THE PURCHASE ORDER. This is not an unreasonable request and if I can verify that the crystal is in fact being made I will drop all complaints, otherwise, I have to assume that the crystal is not available and wish to have my money and watch returned to me. I will NOT pay for unauthorized repairs.

First off, when one seeks service, one expects to be provided such service without complicationsThat is not necessarily the case most of the time; however, if complications arise, one should be notified and made aware of all formalities regarding such complicationswith that being said, I requested repairs performed on my watchThe repairs asked: we're the button on the side of my watch to be replaced and a new crystal that was scratch-free replaced on the face of my watchThe business sent me a quote with parts that were to be replacedI agreed to the quote that was givenThe list of parts given were in a form that only a person who repairs watches for a living could comprehendThe business owner purposely does this to unbeknowing customers to receive extra paymentWhy not state only half the work could be done? Why not clarify the terms givenAs you can see from previous complaints this gentleman has a common business practice of deceit.
MrC*** also gives no date of completion with his services and customers have to inquire about workOnce they inquire about the work he doesn't respondI have proof of emails and correspondence pertains to this serviceI understand that I am liable for agreeing to the terms, but he is also liable about not divulging the specifics of the repairsBy not saying something, he is also accountableHe states he would agree to do additional repairs, but how can he do so without having such bias after this complaintThe customer deserves quality work--not partial workThis consumes time on my behalf and that also has a valueUltimately, I would like to see some type of compensation for this misuse of time and unwillingness to meet my service expectationsEven if I do not receive compensation, the satisfaction that someone else may see this complaint and think twice before doing business with WatchRepairsUSA is satisfaction enoughIn addition, where in the world does a button for the side of a watch cost This isn't a Hermes or Hublot watchThis is inflation at its highest.

I will not send the company back the watch they damaged as I stated in the last email sent to you, due to the likelihood of future damage I have read on online complaints sent by other customers that used this company for servicing there watches I am more than willing to just have to he watch polished by a reputable jeweler and settle for a small reimbursementBut if not satisfied will take this complaint further with other agencies FTC etcI thank the Revdex.com for taking the time and effort to help and investigate this claim even if there is not resolve from a disreputable company such as this!

I called several times to check on whether they received my watchThey were exceptionally helpfulWhile they may be hard to reach at timesI am very happy with the service I receivedShe said they received it and she pulled the package so they will get to it that day!
