 First, I will say it one more time , I never told [redacted] to call the police, he took it upon himself to call the Miami Sherrif Department and the Orlando Police .  I am aware that it is his word against my word, but I never once told this gentleman to call anyone, besides all I asked him when I was to receive my watch back .  Furthermore he says that I will receive my watch in several months or so !  What does this actually mean because several months means two or more months to me and [redacted] told me that it would take 2 to 4 weeks and it has been close to 8 weeks .  I want [redacted] to show me proof that my watch is in [redacted] Factory in [redacted] .  I, also, would like [redacted] to answer the question I asked him to show me proof of the e-mails he sent me about my watch being in [redacted] Factory in [redacted] .  [redacted] has never once showed me any proof that he has done it.  I am worried that something happened to my watch .

 I am not at all confused about the fact that [redacted] promised to return my watch to mr on December *, 2915.  He has not done so.  I have no interest in any estimate for the watch's repair.  I simply wish to retrieve my watch.  Please stop stalling and asking me to view this long awaited estimate.  I have no interest in any estimate as I do not wish to have this company repair my watch.  I want my watch returned to me as promised.  I have [redacted]'s word that he would initiate the process for returning my watch to me on the date mentioned.  The estimate did no appear until after the beginning of [redacted].  Please return my watch to me.  If necessary, I will have my lawyer initiate legal proceedings in order to retrieve my watch.

This business intentionally tries to mislead consumers, including me, by stating that it uses GENUINE parts on VINTAGE watches, which means they have stockpiled a variety of spare parts.  Take a look at their website, watchrepairsusa.com
"We have full access to every major watch manufacturer and parts supplier. We service more than 1,000 different brands of watches, from high-end
automatic models to precision quartz watches to antique vintage
timepieces. We go through great lengths to ensure that only genuine
parts are used, by keeping each factory on our personal rolodex." And they list my brand of watch.  The part needed is available EVERY DAY on [redacted].

I explained to the customer that there was a change in the messaging from Bulova who is the company who was approved by the customer to conduct the actual repairs. It was brought to the attention of the [redacted] and the repair will be successfully completed in the next few days. If they do...

not successfully repair the watch, I explained to the customer that a refund will be granted no questions asked. This is very shortly approaching a conclusion, complaints like these only serve to make the process more aggravating for both parties.

The customer states his only proof is his "word" that we somehow caused all this damage, even though we only evaluated the watch for the estimate. The likelihood of this being logically true is zero. I really do not know how else to respond to this complaint, considering the customer has offered zero in the way of any technical explanation for his claims.

The watch has been returned to customer with a full refund of repairs. The watch has been serviced and hand reattached at no charge. While the watch is running, we were unable to procure rare parts for the balance staff, which could not be handcrafted. The cost for these parts was picked up by us at no charge to the customer but they ended up causing the long delay.
Please allow me to personally apologize for any inconvenience this process has caused the customer. Watch Repair USA is under new ownership and we recognize and thank you for your patience with us. We strive for consistent service with each and every one of our customers. Our goal is to see each timepiece leave with a successfully completed repair, and regret the situation when that is not possible.

Customer has already disputed this transaction with paypal, and they will review the evidence set forth to determine if the dispute is valid. To summarize however, the customer is unhappy with the crystal installed in her 80 year old watch, she says she wants the original part, which is obviously no...

longer available. The part installed was as promised, we said we would install a custom cut crystal and delivered such.
 
We made an exception for the customer, and offer to refund the transaction if she sent the watch back for removal of the item, to which she refused and told us she would rather give us the hassle of Revdex.com complaints and paypal disputes. It appears she wants "something for nothing".

Our website lists in several places including the terms which the customer agrees that they read upon signing up that the customer is responsible for return shipping. Additionally we are happy to ship USPS priority or use their own shipping label to save money.

alright it will not be repaired over night - the movement is on order on our dime. it takes time to get in and be installed and then monitored for quality control

The response to my complaint from WATCH REPAIR USA to the Revdex.com still does not answer my concerns. When my watch was initially sent to WATCH REPAIR USA, I specified on the phone and in the documentation sent to them that the watch was working perfectly and I wanted a replacement crystal only.  I specified that I wanted absolutely no servicing work on the watch as this was recently done (within the last year) and they said this would be alright.  Therefore, WATCH REPAIR USA had absolutely no right to open the back of my watch.  They told me an outright lie before the watch was sent to them. When they received the watch, I was given a totally different response.   I called them and reminded them of my request for only a replacement crystal and I was  then told, "[redacted]"-- not what they said to me on the phone before the watch was sent to them.  I never would have sent the watch to them if I had any inkling that they would insist on servicing it.  At this point, I absolutely did not authorize any work on my watch and requested, and paid for shipping, for the watch to be immediately returned.  However, the return of my watch was anything but immediate.  It took four weeks with numerous phone call and email requests before my watch was returned to me.  I found myself waiting on the hold for 45 minutes each time I called.  Eventually, I discovered that if I click the option of "[redacted]r" that someone picked up the line almost immediately.  When I finally got the watch back it was not running at all; it was broken. My local jeweler has now looked at the watch and says the movement of this watch is not the movement  that was in my watch last year when it was fully serviced.  It will cost $325 to have it repaired by my local jeweler.  So I now have a broken watch, and I've wasted $45. in shipping costs both ways from WATCH REPAIR USA.  Since they did not tell the truth, I wanted my $45. returned but they didn't address that part of my complaint; they didn't address the part about their promise to just replace the crystal; they didn't address the part about my original movement missing; they didn't address the part that my watch is now broken.I have read all 48 complaints about WATCH REPAIR USA on the Revdex.com website here.  All the complaints are similar: (1) an expensive watch is sent to WATCH REPAIR USA, (2) customer gets a repair estimate which is far different from what WATCH REPAIR USA explained to them either by phone or email, (3) customer either goes ahead with repair or requests watch back, (4) after an exorbitant amount of time, and after many emails and many phone calls, and sometimes complaints to the Revdex.com, the watch is returned and  (5) most often the watch is broken upon return or not in the same condition as originally sent or both.  These similarities demonstrate a deceptive pattern with WATCH REPAIR USA and their customers.  The complaint department of the New York State Attorney General's office investigates patterns of complaints involving the same company.  I have therefore forwarded my complaint along with a PDF of the other 48 complaints  about WATCH REPAIR USA to the Nassau Regional Office of the New York State Attorney General located at [redacted].

Dear Sir: I sent you my watch for band repair (10/15) which you then sent to TagHeuer as you were unable to fix. You also did a professional case and band polishing and replaced all gaskets with a pressure test certification (Repair number 191312). After the watch was returned (12/28/15) my only contact with the watch was to put it on in the AM and take off in the PM. The first time however I wore it in water to swim it was obvious that it leaked. I was assured on the phone that it would be fixed under warranty. How ever after returning the watch I was informed that the warranty was void as the crown had been loosened. I DID NOT LOOSEN THE CROWN, and in fact this must have been done by your technicians. You then wanted to do another repair for $658.65 (repair # 191312). I refused and asked that you return watch. You insisted that I pay for return which I did on 7/5/16 with assurance watch would be shipped in 5-10 days. It has been a month and I still have not received my watch. You have been totally dishonest from the beginning and I hope my experience may deter others from doing business with you - and I still want my watch back! We offer free incoming shipping to our facility but there is a shipping charge for the return shipping in all scenarios.To note, we have your watch still, as per our policy, and once return shipping is paid for we will be happy to return it to you.

I went to the site given to see that they had put a date on my estament and I could not get the site.  Once again [redacted] is not beinning truthfull because I know that there was no date.  Also he still has nothing to say about my parts or the fact that my back on the watch said Gold Full.

Watch was sealed and pressure tested in our authoritative machine when it was repaired. Printout included with watch. Watch took on moisture either by way of an open crown or use of pushers while submerged. Despite this, I can offer to refund the crystal so that the customer will stop harassing us.
