[redacted] I don't think this is right, we could have come on the weekend and not missed two hours of work,  I want to also report when we giving our information at the dealer he was on his phone with his daughter on facetime or something I could see and hear her all of our  personal information was being said, who knows who was with her at the time, very messed just like your other place in antigo where the guy swore the whole time, you guys are very messed up, I will go somewhere else, make up all these lies and deny everything  so you don't ever have to pay anybody, cant even fix the cracked windshield from when I bought it from you because you  want me to take off work with no pay to drive 6 hours to have fixed near you,

The response given by Wausau Auto does not state how they will repair this mistake on their part, or give any further details as to what they will be doing for future clients or myself to fix their errors. I would like some sort of verification and clarification as to what will be done for me and how this will be made better.

AFTER ADVISING THE SALES PERSON ON THE PHONE OF MY NEEDS FOR AN INEXPENSIVE VEHILCE WITH PAYMENTS NOT TO EXCEED $250 PER MONTH, I WAS PRESENTED WITH A 2016 CHEROLET CRUZ WITH A STICKER OF $20,000 AND A PAYMENT OF $450 PER MONTH. THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE AND I TOLD THAT TO THE SALES PERSON WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP. THEN, I DISCOVERED THAT THEY TRIED TO GET FINANING AT A NUMBER OF FINANCE ORGANIZATIONS FOR $9500, FAR MORE THAN I ORIGINALLY SAID I WOULD WANT TO PAY. THE PEOPLE THERE JUST DON'T GET IT. THEY WANT TO SELL CARS NO MATTER WHETHER IT IS CONVENIENT FOR THE BUYER. WHEN THE CAR I CAME IN DID NOT RUN, THEY OFFERED ME ANOTHER VEHICLE. BY THAT TIME, SOMEONE WAS COMING SIXTY MILES TO PICK ME UP AND THE SALES PERSON SAID TO TAKE THE CAR ANYWAY. I WAS NOT RAISED THAT WAY. I WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO SOMEONE WHO WAS DOING ME A FAVOR BY NOT BEING THERE WHEN I SAID I WOULD. THE SALES MANAGER SAID SINCE I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH YOU, HE WOULD NOT PAY TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED BACK HOME BECAUSE HE DIDNT DO FAVORS FOR PEOPLE WHO FILE COMPLAINTS AGAIN THE COMPANY. NEARLY ONE HUNDRED FIFTY PEOPLE HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS. THEY DO NOT RESPECT PEOPLE, IT IS ALL ABOUT SELLING CARS AT ANY COST. WHY THEY HAVE A PLUS RATING WITH YOU, I DON'T KNOW. I NOW HAVE PURCHASED A VEHICLE AT THE PRICE AND PAYMENTS I WANTED ALL ALONG, FROM PEOPLE WHO WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP ME SINCE I HAD NO CAR AND THEREFORE NO TRANSPORTATION. THEY ALSO NEED TO TELL PEOPLE WHO ANSWER THEIR PHONES, TO STOP GIVING FALSE INFO OUT TO CALLERS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE NOT INVOLVED WITH THE SALE. MY CAR IS HOME. THE TOW BILL WAS $140 AND I THINK THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD PAY IT. [redacted]

Again, customer is approved for a vehicle loan, but because of how much income we can actually prove to the banks, we were limited on which banks we could use. In all of our advertising we always 100% state that every one of our promotions are subject to approved credit. The banks required the customer to be at a lower payment for a vehicle purchase because of his income. They didn't want him to be at a high debt to income ratio, therefore, they were requesting more money down to get a deal done. Customer is approved, but has to again either come up with more money down or a qualified cosigner. We will be more than happy and willing to show the customer that he is approved and that he can drive away in a nicer newer car.

Review: I bought a car from antigo wis 199rides last year and a bad experience there, so yesterday we went to Wausau to 199rides, I contacted [redacted] by email telling her I owe more then what the vehicle is worth and I have no money to put down, she said that's fine we have 2 lenders that will finance you so come down because the promotion sale they were having is ending, my husband had to take two hours of unpaid time off of work to make it to the dealer, plus our time and gas, I have all the emails from her saying they can help us, I wanted to make sure I was not wasting my time, I am so angry I also tried to get the local number to the dealer and she would not give it, I am just so mad that they can do thisDesired Settlement: I want to be paid for my husbands missed work the gas, I am not sure how you are going to pay me for my time, also I had to eat, I also had to get a babysitter,

Review: I bought a used 2011 Ford F150 white truck and traded in a 2001 Ford F150 red truck on 09-25-2015. I was told that I could get my things out of my 2001 Ford F150 red truck on 09-27-2015 since we were going up north. When I went to get my things on 09-27-2015 the 2001 Ford F150 red truck was no where to be seen at this dealership. I called Jon the sales person and he told me they emptied all of my stuff out of the 2001 Ford F150 red truck. Jon told me where I could find the stuff at the dealership. I was also told that the 2001 Ford F150 red truck was at a [redacted] business. I called Jon a couple days later and stated I needed the break control box for my camper that was still in the 2001 Ford F150 red truck. Jon stated I could go get it at the [redacted] business and I haven't heard a word from Jon since this phone call. My wife called Jon on 10-03-2015 and she had to leave a voice message on Jon's phone. My wife stated on the message that we needed the break control box for our camper back so we could bring our camper home on 10-04-2015. Jon never called myself or my wife back to get us this break control box for our camper back. We have a 2 year old and the break control box for the camper should have been given back to us so my family doesn't have p[redacted]lems driving our camper back. Why should we have to go to the [redacted] business to get the break control box for our camper. Good customer service is getting the break control box for our camper to us and also returning our phone calls. I am very unhappy with the customer service from this dealership. I never had the chance to get my belongings/stuff out of my red 2001 F150 truck. I am getting the run around and will never buy another truck from this business.Desired Settlement: I want the break control box for my camper back. For the run around the dealership gave me, they need to pay to have the break control box for my camper uninstalled from the 2011 red Ford F150 and installed in my new 2011 white Ford F150 truck.

This was the worst place I have ever been too! We sat there for three hours but I'll tell you what happened. My husband and I walked into their dealership and right off the bat my husband had told this guy named [redacted] that we wanted an SUV. [redacted] said okay and said well we will have to enter in your information to see what lenders will work with you. Well that's a joke because after running our credit he said well we have a vehicle for you! Said to hold on one moment and we went to go get vehicle. He brought us around a 2013 Nissan. Right away I asked what the payments would be like. He said between 300-400 which was in our range per month. My husband looked at the guy and said wait I wanted an SUV not a car. [redacted] told him to take the car around and see if we liked it. My husband argued with him for a while and we decided to just shut the guy up that we would take the car around. We did, yes it's a great car but when we got back to the dealership he said he had to talk to his financial advisor. He spent more time in that office than he did with us. He came out of the office and said now we were only approved for an older car and that this car needed a cosigner. So my husband said fine what do you have in the lot that we can look at. Oh well we have some vehicles but they wouldn't show us which ones. I will never go back there ever again! Just take a hint that this place is a rip off. Oh and I know two others that have had the same problem with this company!

Just bought my 2013 Escape from [redacted] at Wausau Auto. Although I was skeptical about going to the dealership, I had a great experience. [redacted] worked hard to get me into the car I wanted!

I just want to point out that, despite many negative reviews, I found that Wausau Auto provided the best car shopping experience I've ever had!
Last week, I made an appointment to talk to someone about buying a car. That is when I met [redacted] I told him what I was looking for. [redacted] pulled my credit and told me what he could get me approved for. Then, he told me that if I get a co-signer, I could basically have my "pick of the litter!" After that, I test drove a 2013 Chrysler 200. [redacted] told me that the car could be a reality. I got a co-signer who requested to see the car report. At that point, [redacted] told me that the car was in an accident, and that it would hurt my chances with the co-signer. Nevertheless, he found me a 2012 model with only 15K on it! After my co-signer came through (she is in another state), [redacted] got me approved! He also got me the lowest APR I've ever had! I was absolutely blown away! [redacted] also brought the car and paperwork to my office!
For those of you who have doubts about Wausau Auto, please take my advice. First of all, ask for [redacted] He came though and got me a car that I never thought I could get, and at a surprisingly low interest rate! As long as you go in with an open mind and stay positive, Jon can help you too!

Review: On 5/12/14 I was driving to work in the morning when my car (a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with only 14k miles on it, owned since 12/07/13) suddenly lost all power and died. I got it pulled over to the side of the road and shut it off. I then turned it back on and the check engine light was on. I made it about 1/2 mile down the road and it lost power and had to shut it down again. I then waited 5 mins before turning the car back on. Once I turned the car back on, the check engine light was still on, but I managed to make it to my work (30 miles away) without any problems. I then took my car to advanced auto to have the check engine light read to see what was wrong with it. It read that the throttle actuator motor circuit was the problem. After work as I was leaving the parking lot, my car "shut down" again, and this time for good. I limped it to the nearest parking lot about 1/4 mile away, not doing more than 10 miles an hour. I contacted Hyundai roadside assistance to call for a tow. My car was towed 5/13/14 to the Hyundai dealership in Wausau Wi and I rode with so that I could get a loaner until my car could be fixed. When I got to the dealership they ran a diagnostics test and 5 point inspection which revealed that the entire throttle body was shot, but was caused by previous unfixed damage from an accident. This meant that the repair would not be covered under warranty and would total $890 without taxes. I told the dealership that I have only owned the vehicle for 5 months and that I had never gotten in an accident. I have full coverage insurance so I would have gotten it fixed if I were in an accident. The dealership ran a carfax report on my vehicle which revealed that my vehicle had been in an accident PRIOR to me purchasing it. I was NEVER informed of any accident that the car had been in, and was never given a carfax report at my time of purchase. I then contacted the Wausau Auto in Wausau Wisconsin where I had bought my car from to ask them about this. I spoke with the manager who stated "An accident is not something that we normally tell our customers when they purchase a vehicle, and we generally do not give out a carfax report unless the customer asks for one." I am furious that I paid $20,000 for a vehicle that I was never informed had been in an accident, and is now needing repairs for something due to the damage prior to me buying the vehicle. Nothing, including the rental car I had to get, was purchased under ANY warranty.Desired Settlement: I desire that the repair costs be paid in full by Wausau Auto since they sold me a vehicle that they neglected to tell me was in an accident that caused my current repairs. I am very thankful that my kids were not in the vehicle and that I was not on the interstate when my car died on the road. This could have been a very dangerous situation! I also am requesting that Wausau auto pay the fees for any rental that I needed while my vehicle was getting repaired, and gas reimbursement for me having to travel from my home to Wausau and back to get repaired. This is nearly a 2 hour drive for me one way! I also had to take vacation from work for 2 1/2 hours and should be reimbursed for my time I had to use to take off of work. I am so entirely disappointed with Wausau Auto's negligence to be truthful during the time of my purchase! If I do not receive what I have asked for the outcome, I request that Wausau Auto buy my vehicle back from me at the price of what I purchased it for. These are the only 2 options I am willing to settle on! If not, I will be telling everyone I know what a horrible, dissatisfying experience this was, and will NEVER recommend this company to anybody. I will also take actions furthur into a lawsuit!

Regardless of the negative reviews ive read my husband and I are extremely happy with Jon K and the whole wausau auto group. We were previously turned down by other dealerships and Jon got us into a new dodge dart!

I worked with Mike [redacted] and he got me into a 2004 Matrix. He worked with my mother and me over the phone. We had numerous amount of calls between us. He helped me find the car of my dreams. He worked with me over the phone so I didn't have to drive two hours for a car that was not on the lot. Mike put me first and foremost and saved a lot of time and money. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had! The payments where in my payment range and he worked hard to make sure of it.

I had a great experience with Wausau Auto. Fast, friendly and caring service. With payments I can afford. Best of all, they came to me. I didn't have to go to them. Within three hrs my vehicle was delivered to me with everything done over the phone. My vehicle is beautiful with a stress free process. Thank you [redacted] for your excellent caring service. I am so grateful for Tommy here!!!! I'm 19 years old, a single mother with a baby, ZERO credit and he was able to get me and my daughter in to a nice, new, and SAFE vehicle, which I love. I am so glad I stopped in at Wausau Auto the day I did. I worked with Mike [redacted] and he was amazing. I tried different vehicles to see which one fit me. He didn't rush me and let me take my time. He even let me take the vehicle out to lunch. He told me what was needed and worked for me to get into the vehicle I wanted. He was very professional and has an awesome sence of humor! He was GREAT to work with. If anyone goes to Wausau Auto you need to work with Mike!
