Review: I purchased the vehicle three weeks ago, and I have nothing but trouble. First my check engine light came on, then my TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor) light came on, and then my vehicle stopped driving. The company also refused to let me return the vehicle when I stated I was not satisifed with their service or the vehicle. While they agreed to fix the vehicle, I had to call a tow truck to get my vehicle to them and they promised that it would be taken to be fixed on December 26th, upon calling them to confirm the vehicle was going to be in the shop for repairs yesterday (the 26th), they then told me that the vehicle was not going to be going to the shop until Friday (today, the 27th). This company has given me the run around since day one when they pressured me into buying this car. They also told my mom that I needed to learn how to drive after expressing my concern that the tires on the vehicle are not designed for snow, and I ended up getting stuck on the road while driving cautiously.Desired Settlement: I want to return the vehicle without penalty or cost. I do not want to exchange it for another vehicle from them, I just want to return it. I don't want to be penalized as far as it affecting my or my mother's credit or having to pay anything.

I am so glad I ran into geio when I did. Hes the only reason why I bought from 199ride and im grateful that he was the face I saw because his spark got me into my red focus! I really didnt think I could get approved with my score but he made it happen! [redacted] can't be any happier. Thank you so much hunny!

Review: I purchased a 2006 Pontiac Vibe from Wausau Auto on April 26th, 2014. On test drive of vehicle with sales person [redacted], he pointed out a vibration in the vehicle and stated the vehicle needed a tire rotation and balance which would cost about $50. The vehicle drove well otherwise and was in good condition so we proceeded to purchase the vehicle which included a 1 month, 1000 mile warranty. On Monday April 28th, 2014 I took the car in for the tire rotation and balance and was informed that the driver side rear tire's belt was completed broken and the tire was the worst he'd ever seen and the front driver side tire had a damaged belt and that the right front tire had no balance weights on it. The technician said I was lucky I brought it in because it was not road worthy. I told him I had just bought it and he indicated that it should never have passed inspection. Reluctantly I paid the $450 to have the tires replaced and I called the sales person [redacted] to inform him. He indicated that they were going to "make it right" because I was a great customer and they've never had anyone buy 2 cars within a 30 day period before. 3 days passed and I finally received a phone call from [redacted] who is apparently a manager at the Wausau location. He told me they wouldn't do anything for me because I changed jobs this week and because the financing paperwork still hadn't been completed it was now going to cost them $600 for the financing. I purchased the car 5 days ago and start my new job in 4 days. I still meet all the requirements for the financing on the paperwork that we signed.Desired Settlement: I expect a refund for the cost to make the car road worthy. If a refund is not offered, I expect to completely void the sale including my down payment and I will pursue the $450 for the tires in civil court. I have spoken with my attorney at [redacted] and am prepared to take further action if necessary.

Customer signs and is made aware during the delivery that any/all Fixes done without dealer being made aware voids Any and all implied warranties that we would otherwise cover.

Customer did not Contact the dealer rather got the new tires installed And brought in a receipt with no contact to the dealer About having any sort of issue. Customer did exactly what

This business treated my daughter terribly. The sales manager told her she qualified for a vehicle and that he would "hide" the keys so no one else could purchase it. When she went back the vehicle in fact had been sold. Then she was told that was the only vehicle out of all their lots that she qualified for unless she put $2100 down. She had been told she could get the other vehicle with $500 down. I think this is clearly a case of bait and switch.

Wausau auto, wausau,wi.sold me a 1999 gmc,Yukon suv that they knew could not be operated on wi. Highways and did not inform, allowing me to test drive vehicle. The salesman did nit stamp motor vehicle contract until he took all paper work into office to finative sale and then stamped motor vehicle with red stamp, stating it was unsafe to be operated on wi. highways, then he handed me envelope with all paperwork. I did not notice red stamp until I read motor vehicle contract next day. also, window sticker listing repairs needed, did not include actual number of repairs needed. when I contacted manager, he told me "there was nothing he could do about it.

We were approved financing for a vehicle. We were called by a "salesman" and texted all day - sent pictures, gave prices, made arrangements to pick it up (we're an hour away) and we get there & we're told that THEY SOLD THE VAN!!!!! they promised us this van - it was the ONLY van we could afford with financing & down payment & they went and sold it out from under us!!! We had NO OTHER OPTIONS. They didn't care. They didn't remedy it -- what they DID do was have the audacity to show us a van that looked like it was pulled out of a junk yard! Scratches, dents, broken mirror - 3 years older & a ton more miles. You'd think they would want to FIX the [redacted] up by offering us something BETTER - do SOMETHING for us ..... They could care less. This all happened in front of my son who was so excited to ride along & pick up our "new" car. He learned a lesson on how deceitful, despicable, dishonest a company could be!!! They got our family excited - on our way to get it & then sold it out from under us & couldn't have cared less. I could throw up right now I'm so upset!!!!

very nice easy to work with my son did outstanding and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a car

I had a wonderful time here. Excellent customer service!

I was frustrated and felt betrayed by circumstances that happened in the last week. My experience with Tommy has been a god send. At first I was resistant because of the experiences of the past week but thru kindness and patience we worked out what I really needed. Someone to understand and care about what I drove. I will be back when it is time for my friend to upgrade her vehicle. I will also be back when it is time for getting another Newer Explorer!

Purchased My Car 3/31 Sales Assoc Jon K. Did A great Job With Helping Me purchase My Car There Some Issues With The Car But They Have been More Than Willing To Resolve Those Issues . In A timely Manor The Staff has Been Friendly It Was A Better Experience than buying a Car Thru Carmax Thank You

Review: I was dealing on a 2011 chevy Camaro and the sales man ran my credit and said I got approved for it and to come sign the papers. Alright I was so happy and thought I got it so the next day I went there to get the car and when I get there the salesman tells me it was in a crash, so I drove all the up there for nothing again. The salesman told me he would call when the car is fixed, he never called me once. I called him and he said come pick it up on Friday and all I had to do is sign the papers. I went there on Friday and drove home in my old car. So I'm complaining on there horrible guest service and there slogan "Everybody rides with 199ride.com!" That is a lie!!! I ended up with no car and 199ride KILLED my CREDIT!!!! I'm stuck in my old car and STUCK WITH ST FOR CREDIT!!!! I would appreciate it if you could help me and change my credit back to where it was before. Thanks, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like it if I could get my credit back to where it was. I'm so sick of that dealership and NEVER going back. I would appreciate it thanks

I recommend customer to contact the dealership, because we help thousand of customers and really can change lives. In this case customer did not purchase a vehicle yet. I know The customer had a vehicle that was looking to purchase

Wausau Auto took money out of my checking account through an debit Master Card that I had given them the number for an prior payment. They took an amount not that was that was greater than owed to them. When confronted by the bank they admitted to the bank that the card was unauthorized but the amount was correct. My banks name is Associated Bank in Wisconsin Rapids, my bankers name is Jeffery Peters. My name is Deborah Ruffi. I am still trying to retreive my funds of 410.00 because once something like this happens it takes sometime to get your accounts settled. 10/14 days

I purchased a 2013 GMC Terrain on Tuesday 6/13/16 and I have to say it was the best car buying experience I've had yet. Don L[redacted] was out sales advisor and he was great to work with. He explained everything clearly to us and made sure I got the car I wanted. All of the staff there was really nice to us even though we didn't work directly with them. I highly recommend Wausau Auto for anyone who is looking for a great car buying experience.

I came in on april 22, 2016 with a 2002 pontiac grand am with about 145 thousand miles. The car has numerous problems. I owed about 7500 on the car yet. I worked with Tony Seehafer. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, professional, great attitude really seems to enjoy his job and working with people. He helped me to stay in my financial range and find a vehicle I love. I left with a 2014 dodge ram with under 45,000 miles for a great deal. They made me a priority today and helped me find a vehicle to suit my needs. I couldnt thank them enough. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle. My experience was outstanding.

Review: I was at Wausau auto because of scott mccormicks radio ad saying everyone rides we will approve everyone no matter what well just like the other complaints I was denied financing they said my credit score was too low and I needed a co signer well I have news everyone can get a loan with a co signer being approved with a co signer means nothing and he should be forced out of business I am trying to help to the cause here he says he will give you 1000 if he cannot approve you and he doesn't do that either when you try to e mail to confront the company they will not even replyDesired Settlement: I would like to receive the 1000 check that he boasts all over the radio about and I would like the others that complained here as well to get their settelement I have in my possession denial letters from each one of scott mccormicks lenders denying me credit

Response:

Customer is approved on their own with NO co-signer. That makes The accusations in this compliant false. Having a co-signer in this Case would allow the customer to take advantage of the prime programs such As no money down however if the customer wants to do it with out a co-signer they Are approved And can do so. It will take a down payment on their own that changes Depending on which vehicle they want. Please consider this case closed as the Customer is APPROVED on thier own.

Thank you

Awesome place very friendly not pushy great cars felt very comfortable buying from them they helped us get a loan for the newes car we ever owned!

Buying my first car and wausau auto, more importantly geio [redacted], made it easy. he had my best interest when helping find a car fit for me. great place

Salesman [redacted] is the man! Went looking for a truck, found one I liked and drove it home the same day!

Geio is extremely friendly and polite. He will work with any situation to find you the best deal based on your situation and finances. The process was extremely simply and fast. Well worth the visit. I left with a 2015 vehicle!!!

My salesman [redacted] at Wausau Auto was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to find out what I was looking for, and helped me find a vehicle that fit my needs. Then, he went out of his way to find a place where I could have a back-up camera installed at a low cost. He even called me to check in and see how I was liking my new mini van.
I would definitely recommend Wausau Auto to anyone looking to trade up or get a newer car.
