I just purchased a newer ,nicer car from Wausau Auto, at 59yrs old I have purchased quite a few automobiles in my life, and have never had a better experience, even with a poor credit score and limited money to put down they made it happen and with monthly payments That I can afford (living on a fixed income). I worked with Tony [redacted] a very pleasant and professional sales advisor. I will and have recommended this dealer and ESPECIALLY Tony, to my friends and family

Amazing customer service from Jon [redacted]t!! He was an all around down to earth guy. I have decent credit and was looking to help establish better credit for my spouse, and he really helped us through this and we were able to find something that worked perfectly for us! I'm so pleased with the ease of this whole experience!

[redacted] and the guys at Wausau auto did an amazing job in securing my loan, I never thought id be able to get a loan for a car. I would strongly recommend anyone with credit issues to come down and speak with these guys. NO high pressure sales and comfortable environment.

I went in there on 09/18/2015 to get a car for a cheap payment and little to no money down, the car I wanted was 13000 they were willing to sell me a 2005 for 10000 but my interest rate was going to be 23.99% with 5000 down. Their advertising is a scam, you have to pay to much out of pocket and too much money down. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. What a joke.

I will never go their again we made the two hour drive for nothing we were looking to get a new car and we couldn't get one due to our income and they did a credit check on my husband and not me and then they wanted us to trade in our car and they also said we would have to pay the taxes on the car and put down a payment of eight hundred dollars and we have a limited income.

I first filled out an online application, I called to verify that I was approved, which they said I was with a small down payment depending on the shape of my trade in vehicle. We drove an hour, went inside, did the paperwork, they then decided I needed a co-signer. They stated I needed an extra $1,000 dollars to get the vehicle, plus the $1,000 voucher I had, and my vehicle which they were willing to give me $2,500. When we called they stated they had 3-4 Nissan Altima's, a variety to choose from. When we got there they didn't even have a Nissan on the lot, all they had was a beat up vehicle that wanted way to much for. Everyone approved? NOT!! Don't say I am if I am not, Don't advertise Bull crap on the TV. Be honest on a commercial.

I consider them to be scam artists! False advertising at it's best. I am not sure how it is legal to have a purchaser and a cosigner together, then when it comes down to it only have one person listed on the loan and the other person listed on the title! When I was told that we were listed on the loan together. So in other words- I was purchasing a vehicle to build my credit and in the end had I paid it would have just built my cosigners. If I failed to pay I would have damaged their credit and they would have been responsible for the loan. Ridiculous! I am outraged to find that they sell these vehicles at twice what they are worth. They prey on people while claiming to be for the people. A 14,000$ vehicle is not worth 28,000$

I bought a 2008 ford f150 from them and it was nice at first but the were so pushy to get me into it and when it came time to fix the problems that came up I HAD to take it to their shop and needless to say they had it A MONTH before I got it back and they were slow with service and extreamly rude. I have worked on cars for 7 years and know it doesn't take that long to get the service work I had done fixed!!! this place should be shut down!! ran by a bunch of [redacted] and [redacted]! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WARN EVERYONE I SEE TO STAY AWAY!!!!

So after going to Wausau auto with NO expectations of buying a car we were amazed at the helpfulness of the sales guy Cole was awesome and really helped put us in a nicer newer worry free car we could not be happier...thanx Cole

This was a truly heartwarming experience. [redacted] is a great person to work with on buying a vehicle. Always smiling, very positive an always ready to help . This young man will go far in the future he is definitely a people person and he truly does care about people, what they think, what they want, and he even takes time to listen. That's an amazing thing these days. His pride in what he does shows very strongly he is so enjoyable to work with and we were so relaxed and never rushed and always laughing. Such a great person with such good character. Hats off to you [redacted] keep going far.

I will never purchase from another dealership!! Jon K. provided me with the best car buying experience I've ever had! He listened to my/my family's needs and got us into the perfect vehicle at a payment that worked for my budget. When it came down to the paperwork, he explained everything in terms I could understand. Not to mention, I got the best interest rate ive ever had. I recommend Wausau Auto to all my friend and family that are in the market for a new vehicle.

Review: I went into Wausau Auto and took a car for a test drive and while I was out they ran my credit report with trans-union.I did not give them the permission to do so. also they said they could get you a car for a nickle down....after I came back from the test drive they stated I would have to put down 1000.00 down on a vehicle.....which I didn't even want. Now I have a credit request on my report. that is illegal to do in the state of Wisconsin.Desired Settlement: I want them to get there request off of my credit report and stop the FALSE advertising that they are doing the owner name is [redacted].

Customer came in for financing help she had filled out a credit app with her social security number included which is only needed if we are going to do a credit check. Customer didnt get the car she wanted without a down payment needed. Wausau auto helps 1,000's of happy customers every year get a nicer newer car some customers get approved with no money out of pocket others can require thousands down depending on credit. The trans union inquiry will not be removed because customer came to the dealership and has completed a credit application. Please consider this complaint closed. Thank You

I did NOT give them the consent to run my credit while I was on a test drive of the first Carl that I looked at on there lot. They did this WITHOUT my knowledge and I want this be taken off my trans union credit report. And as for there advertising it is FALSE. They say everyone gets financed with NO MONEY DOWN but A NICKLE on there PICKLE NICKLE DEAL. Please Have this WAUSAU AUTO resolve this matter As soon as Possiable.

I went in a few weeks ago to get into a newer car and Ryan B[redacted] did a Great job he was very helpful made it easy for me to get into a car and got me exactly what I was hoping for, he was very helpful in answering my questions and setting everything up! He went above and beyond expectation! Thank you love my new car.

I was there frist thing in the morning looking at cars. Mike [redacted] came out and spoke with me. He listened to what I was interested in and then showed me what was on the lot. He even called the other two locations to see what they had as well. Mike got me the truck I wanted. He listened to me about my credit and the amount of payment I could do and he took care of both! He got me an awesome price and lower payments then any other dealers gave me! Also, my credit is starting to rebuild and I couldn't be happier!
