My 80 year old Mom is able to live comfortably,without worries, in her home thanks to the repairs Woods Basement have done on her home. The guys are always friendly and considerate. They do a great job!!

and his crew came out and put a waterproofing system in our basement. They were very professional and quick. They did a wonderful job and cleaned the area very well after they were finished. We did the final walk through after completion and *** explained every step of the job and made sure I understood everything before he left. This company has been awesome from the time I called and *** came out to estimate the job until finish. I have scheduled window and window well replacement now and plan to use them for a new egress window.

Very friendly and professional from start to finish!

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at first. However today for the 3rd time we had a team that was outstanding***z was the foreman and I cant say enough on his workmanship. He and his crew did an outstanding job. *** continued throughout the process to make sure all was on the up and up. When he arrived he took the time to listen to our concerns and made sure that we where 100% satisfied and I must say he went above and beyond and I give him a 200% satisfaction. The crew cleaned up afterwards, this time the whole experience was fantastic. Thank you *** and Crew.

We had a situation at our house reviewed by Woods Basement. They suggested a solution that we have since found out was exceedingly more than what we needed. However, this comment is unrelated to that. The topic of this comment is Woods' business practices. We paid the down payment on 5/23/18. It was charged to our credit card within 2-3 minutes. We cancelled the job on 5/24/18 at about 6:30 a.m. and submitted the cancellation in accordance with Woods' instructions: Mailed on paper, faxed to them, and emailed to them. On 6/4/18 (12 days later), still no credit had been applied to our credit card. I spoke with their accounting department and was told that it may take 7-10 days after the cancellation is processed by the sales team! She acknowledged that the cancellation had been processed and sent to accounting on 5/29. The credit did not appear on our credit card until 6/9/19 or 17 days after our notice was sent to them!! If it takes 3 minutes to charge a customer it should not take 17 days to credit a charge. This exorbitant time is disgraceful. The sad thing about this whole situation is that we used Woods previously, but that's unlikely to occur in the future.

Managers have reviewed this situation to make sure that the turn around will be promptly accomplished which means within 10 business days. It is hard to believe that a company considers 10 days, to process a credit that should occur within minutes, an acceptable practice. Furthermore, I hope that the Revdex.com does not endorse such a practice of its members. At this point, I am considering referring my question to the State Attorney General.

The Woods Basement Systems team o*** installed sub-floor drainage system, clean space wall system, TripleSafe pump system, and 3 SmartJacks in my basement. ***, the foreman, explained everything to me and answered my questions. I am pleased with the work of the team. I now look forward to the next rain to see how my new system will work.

I have had nothing but a negative experience with Woods Basement Systems. Back in 2016 my husband and I decided to refinish our basement. Woods came and spent 3 hours evaluating and measuring and sold us what we thought was going to be a great fix to the leaks and puddles. The fist bad taste was when the workers showed up and looked at the contract and looked at my basement and said this isn't going to work at all and the contract had to be redone because some of the things the rep sold us would not even work with my basement structure. Go figure? They talked us into purchasing the mac daddy of all sump pumps. Which I have never heard kick on...they claim that's what makes it so great. They installed the drains around the inside parameter of the house (which I was later told by another contractor that Woods did not dig deep enough which was going to cause problems). After they installed the drains and filled it with rocks they were just going to leave it exposed like that. I asked them is that what they do in a finished basement and they said that was the process and there was no way of covering it up except with maybe some Styrofoam. Really? You're telling me people with huge, nice homes have rocks showing in their basement? Since this began in 2016 we have had probably 10 different reps come out. some in groups of 2. Some regular workers some high up on the chain. We still had a few puddles after we spent almost $10,000. They had to bust up my basement and add another drain. which still has not worked and they are at a loss of what to do. So now we have noticed the mold is coming back on one of the walls and the new paneling and carpet we laid is warped in one area because guess what...water is coming in the basement. It obviously is not draining into the drains as I was told was the plan. They at one point in the beginning tried to sell these bright walls and then some plastic white stuff but they realized neither would work with my walls and with the basement footing. Plus we were going to be putting up paneling to cover their drains since they could not come us with a solution except Styrofoam. So, my husband calls them yesterday and let's them know we are not happy that we are seeing mold (which we spend $3,000 prior to Woods with a mold removal company) and that our paneling and carpet are warped. They sent someone out right away. He recommended vapor walls for $1,200 but said they only do jobs for $2,000 and over. WHAT? After all the business we've given you you actually said that? At this point everything should be free and why didn't you recommend and do the vapor wall in the beginning. He tried to say this was a separate and new issue which it is not. The water was on the walls in the very beginning and Woods was highly aware of that. After all...ummm...3 hour eval remember? So, needless to say I am at my wits end and would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

I hired the company for my basement leaks and they ask for 30 % down with no interest for rest of the payment.My job was 11 000 and I gave them 3300,,,I originally owe them 7700..2 weeks later I recieved email with 12.9% wich sky high my payments to 14 400. .Imidiatelly called salesman and he refused to give me my money back or transfer me to menager.He continued to pressured me with job ,and texting in late hours and promissing great job,,.I would like cancellation with complete money back.I contacted them,,but menager still didnt reach me.

We are sorry for any delay in correcting this situation. Our accounting records show that on Friday February 23rd this was processed and mailed. The homeowner did call us on Monday Feb. 26th to let us know it was not received, yet. We will double check today to see if it was delivered by mail and again we are sorry for the delay.

I want to express how much I’m satisfied with the entire experience with Wood’s Basement Systems. First of all, the quote/ estimate process was incredibly informative. *** their sales associate, was amazing to work with and explained everything about how the process works and even after I had changed my mind about a half a dozen times, on what I actually wanted to do in my basement, he was always pleasant and never frustrated with us and made sure that he did what I asked. Very first rate guy.
On the day the project was scheduled to start, which was very quick after we agreed on the project details, their foreman *** and his crewman *** arrived and after a quick walk through and overview of the project, they got right to work. They were both very kind and super polite. I was having other contractors in and out for other projects and *** didn’t even let it bother him and just kept right on working. After it was all said and done, they turned a 3 day project into a just under 2 day project.
All in all, we are very happy with the entire project and would recommend Wood’s to anyone who needs any type of basement work done.
Also, GET *** A NEW TRUCK!!! He deserves it!!!!

Thanks to *** for the work they did backfilling and repairing concrete in my utility room. They were very professional and courteous especially since they had to make an extra trip to provide the necessary materials for the job.
