I had a water problem due to work done incorrectly some years ago. Woods' crew came to my house and re-evaluated the problem. The mistake was corrected by a redo of the work. Special thanks go to *** who did the heavy work of concrete and rock. Thanks to *** who was supervisor and who did various aspects of the job, and to ***. who restored the shower and other finishing touches. The workers were also very courteous. My thanks go to Woods Basement Systems for honoring their guarantee. I feel confident that the problem is solved.

Thank you for letting us know about our service tech. that was recently out to your home. We review work and do training here weekly so thanks for stating how well versed our team was who help at your home.

Had a free estimate to jack up driveway/walkway. Signed contract. They could not schedule for almost a month from contract date. Bottom line:
1. Salesman would not return calls or emails
2. Took 4 times to come out and correct the problem to contract specs
3. Talked to 2 managers on this problem with one coming out to check out complaints and scope of work.
4. Crews would not notify us upon departure from our residence.
5. Last trip had to go out and make crews change twice up to specs!
6. Caulking of cracks did not solidify nor was it adequate. They stated that it is new and they are having problems with it as to hardening and tire rubber turning it black. I was originally informed that it would only take two days to dry before I could drive on it!
7. Was called twice by company collections to pay final bill since I had to put a deposit down prior to starting work. I notified them that per contract that final payment was not due until completion of work. They stated that according to crew reposts work was completed! That is when I got the 2nd manager, ***, involved.
8. The 4th time out when they finally corrected the leveling, they stated that they would come back out in spring when warmer to finish caulking since it was still soft.
9. Wife received a call from company in which they scheduled to come out on Wed 20 Dec 17 to finish caulking.
10. They did not show on Wed nor did we recv a call to cancel.
11. Basically have heard nothing since, and nothing has gone the way it should just a lot of tak and no performance.
12. The ONLY GOOD Thing about this company is that ALL conversations were very polite and cordial! Just wish that salesman, Initial contact with company, would have returned our calls/emails, to discuss problem with!

Our director of customer care has spoken to the homeowner and worked out the details to resolve these issues. Due to the temperature challenges this time of year a re-visit in the spring to make sure all necessary repairs are working or needing additional attention as part of the warranty is being working into our schedule for that time.

We are sorry these issues happened to one of our customers and that they were not 100% pleased with how our team performed.

I am rejecting this response because: While what the business has stated is true, they did try to come back in late December however the weather changed causing the new conditions to be made. While this will correct the ending results, it still does not resolve the several attempts that were made to correct prior to this but to no avail. It also does not correct the lack of professionalism on the part of the workers in not leaving us know when they left and the improper cleanup after each visit! It also does not make up for the constant calling to collect the balance of the bill since they stated the job was complete when it was not. It still does not correct discussions with two managers of the company to try and resolve the issue. It still does not resolve the issue that this has been ongoing since October and still not corrected. It still does resolve the fact that the initial sales person for the company still has not contact us to try and resolve the issue. Bottom line this company does not seem to be bothered by the customer satisfaction courtesy nor do they seem to have an in house communication system in which they are all on the same sheet of music and know exactly what is going on. Knowing then what I know now, I would not have used this company and gone through all of the confusion, frustration, and time involved in trying to just have them perform the job that they were contracted for and agreed to accomplish in time and with the results to the wife's and mine satisfaction, for the money that we are suppose to pay!

The crew *** from Woods Basement Systems installed waterproofing in my basement. *** called me earlier in the morning to confirm the time. The team arrived right on time. *** explained to me what would be done and encouraged any questions that I might have. The team laid down plastic to keep my carpet and tile clean as they brought in and out equipment. They were very professional and pleasant. After the project was completed, they cleaned up the basement very nicely as well. I would definitely recommend this team.
