Hello, My son *** *** was enrolled in this school for a couple months We decided to cancel it and was given a confirmation letter along with the amount to be refunded in the amount of $something dollars I’ve been waiting for the check for months now and every time we call are given the “run around” We are still being told that it is processing However, when I called the last time on 10/11/18, I was told that they had no record of me (his mom) on the account I am the person who was paying for everything The refund should be coming to me However, the student services account manager Andrew was extremely rude and would not provide information to me as to when the refund was processed He stated that his supervisors name is Teresa T and that she was unavailable I would simply like a refund since we do not want to be enrolled at the school and according to their policy, we are able to have a 100% refund if we decide to cancel

Penn Foster keeps sending me bills in the mailEach ones amount higher than the last oneI don't even go to Penn FosterNow it's on my credit report and is ruining my scoreHow can they do this?

I enrolled in a codeing class with penn foster that was teaching *** and was supposed to graduate in jan as I was not complete I asked for and extension which cost $75, on june I recieved an email stating that *** was no longer used and I would have to reenroll in the programI was never notifief that I would not be able to test for my boardsi was never notified that I would need to complete last oct which was before my graduation date of jan and when I applied for extension they did not inform me that I would not be able to testI understand that the program would hace to change but I was never informed until june I expected penn foster to keep me informed and to make some kind of arrangement to move into the new program I would of been happy to pay a small fee for this change less the $that I paid for extension that was not neededPenn foster said that program was completely changed and that I would have to reenroll and would not credit for anythin

When I joined Penn Foster College as a student, I was lead to believe that the degree programs were credited and would be accepted by potential employersI have since learned that companies are rejecting the degrees due to the degree's national creditingI have contacted Penn Foster's Student Service Center with the matter and was told that not all companies would except the programs degreesI was not advised of this when I was in the process of signing the agreement with Penn FosterI have canceled out the program after I learned from the student community center that the degrees were being rejectedPenn Foster sent me a letter demanding $for a cancellation settlementI do not feel I owe this amount due to being intentionally misled when I was in the process of signing the contractAt no time during the process was I informed of the problem with the degree's crediting

All of the material for the schooling at Penn Foster is outdated it's not up-to-date it it's it's incorrect and wrong they falsely advertised everything and they don't want to work with you at all I've asked to be unenrolled and they will not unenroll me due to the fact that their criteria is outdated and is not up to par

I signed up for a hvac program that I finished last month and paid off a total of $paid it in full on the 3rd of November so I called them on the 3rd they told me I did it by check so it takes days to clear with bank or we can do over the phone and it will take weeks to clear I said ok can u void it and they did so I paid $because they said if I paid that I would save $so it was still saying I owed them that so he said don't worry about it it will go away by tomorrow and it did and that he would call me back in morning never did so I called on Monday the 20th and they couldn't explain to me when they would ship out my graduation set out the guy put me on hold talking to his supervisor that it should of been sent he dont know why it hasnt and that he would call me in morning and never called me back the next day like he saidI don't understand I completed the program and gave the money that was suppose to be gave but they can't give me the information on grad

Well I had gotten my pennfoster through Job Corps in My school mates were able to get a job in a few weeks to years laterI mean I myself is having a hard time getting into a job but I trust God to lead meBut I went through admissions in Trinity Valley and told me to come take a TSI exam which I will have to study forIf they didn't tell me to take a tsi, then I'm pretty sure they would have told me to play in the highway if they looked at my reviewStill praying for a job to earn for college classes though I was still worried even after all that time in Job Corp if it was a waste of timeIf Job Corp adopted this high school program and if it helped kids between ages of 16-year olds then they're doing something rightIf you procrastinate then you're not going anywhere with lifeNothing gets HANDED out if you don't work for itI have a disability and finished the program in months!! I'm pretty sure even if anyone doesn't have a disability they would be able to finish in that much time tooBut I've known people in Job Corp with ONE trade had been there for YEARS not doing diddly sqwat cause they think school is the place to play but this is your FUTUREmy granny always told me I could play after I do what is needed to be done in the house and that basically goes for life as wellYou get to play after you do some good deeds or pay your duesBut I pray that I will be able to at least get a job somewhere

This company misrepresents their coursesWhen contacted they state that courses and course credits are transferable to other institutionsI then found out after signing up in fact this was not the case these courses credits ARE NOT transferable to other institutionsAs soon as I discovered this I cancelled the classHowever, upon doing so they try to get you to pay a ridiculous about of money I did not even finish half the program for the simple fact the credit wouldn't transfer even though I was initially told it wouldFurthermore, I never even Received any books from this institution
They use advertising and given even more misleading information when you call and talk directly with a customer service agentThey basically tell you want you want to hear to get you to sign up, then once you sign up you find out the truth

This doesn't only involve customer service from Penn Foster itself but the testing software company that they utilize for their examinationsI had been taking my first exam in VETand my internet was accidentally shut offHowever, I was finished with my exam and had used the "save" button after each question within the exam software prior to my internet being shut offI called technical support of *** *** (the software company hosting the exam) and they refused to look into the issueThey continued to tell me that I would have to speak with Penn Foster in order for them to have accessWhen speaking with staff at Penn Foster, they stated that they hadn't received anything on their end with my examSo I was forced to take the exam again
