applicant which have been addressed by our agents.  According to our records:The applicant called on 1/**/16 and requested to speak with a supervisor. He indicated that he does not have academic transcripts for his diploma.On 1/**/16, the applicant called back and I informed the applicant that we can proceed with a Document by Document evaluation based on the documents that we have already received. On 1/**/16, the applicant requested via email to complete a Document by Document evaluation.  As requested, we completed a Document by Document evaluation and a fee of $60.00 was refunded to him on 1/**/16. Please note that as of today, we have not received the required documents from the applicant’s institution to complete a Course by Course evaluation. Once the documents have been received and approved by our evaluators, the applicant will need to request an upgrade to his completed report and pay the appropriate fees as indicated on our website.  The applicant should contact me directly to confirm that his documents are being sent from his institution. Please note that [redacted] was selected as a duplicate report in 2015.  At no time did we indicate that we would include the syllabus in our envelope to the universities. This is the responsibility of the applicant. As a courtesy we will send the applicant his copies of the syllabus to supply to his new third party recipient.  As mentioned previously the university quoted that it was their error why [redacted]’s evaluation was not updated in their system in a timely fashion. Nevertheless,  the file for [redacted] will be cancelled and refunded. Should the applicant require a duplicate she will have to apply for a new evaluation.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Well, it is very obvious to me that the company is trying to dodge the matter and spin the issue in blaming me in lying about my original translations. I have a feeling they are trying to wear me out, so that I drop the complain. Every time a new customer service rep steps in, it brings more and more unreasonable and contradicting answers.  I would like Revdex.com to really look into this matter, because it has been going on for too long, and my original complain has not been resolved. I did send original translation documents along with my diploma and the certificate.  There were 4 original documents. They were place together in the envelope with a seal that had my cr on it. Original translations had an apostile which was in a form of a purple stamp that was filled in, it was in English and French. It was done in Russia, and it does not look like an apostile that you could get in the U.S. A.  All the original translations were bound together with notary ribbons. Two documents were returned, and other 2 were destroyed based on the company's previous response.I demand a straight forward answer about what happened to my original translations and a formal apology from this company. Please do not send any more bogus replies that just discredits your company even more. I will make sure to leave a negative comment on [redacted] about this company, and I will be reaching out to my department of education representative to ask them to remove this company from the list of reliable vendors that provide evaluation of educational diplomas that were received overseas.  I have reviewed the response from the business. I find the response from WES inadequate and unsatisfactory.I find two main issues with this. First WES clearly states in the confirmation page of the transcript that they will accept transcripts in official sealed envelopes. Here's the text from their confirmation:"If the document is given to you to forward to WES, it must be attested & dated and placed in an official sealed envelop that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the institution that conducted the examination."What I sent to WES was exactly that, sealed and stamped across the back flap and from the institution that I studied in. This was not sent directly from the institution as WES has stated earlier. However it matches the requirment stated in the confirmation page I have attached. If WES is not willing to accept stamped transcripts from the university then they should remove such ambiguous statements from their confirmation page. I believe the onus is on WES to provide full refund because of issues caused by their ambigous or wrong languange and not being available to clarify that. I have sent two emails and called them mutliple times to ensure that what I sent them was ok, but they never come up on the phone. Additionally any honest organization will state clearly in a visible place if there is a non-refundable fee associated with an application. Instead, WES chooses to hide this information at the bottom of a document that they can almost guarantee applicants will not read. Also, rather thanstate how much this "cancellation" fee is, they do not, leaving it open to the possibility of them charging any arbitrary amount. This is amounts to dishonesty, and I can see from other complaints against this company, that there is a pattern of applicants with similar issues of being swindled by WES. It is their duty to be transparent about the process but they hide information,do not respond promptly to email inquiries, are not available by phone or make any attempt to respond to a customer.I would like a FULL REFUND because WES has not done any work on the file and has failed to specify the cancellation fee amount anywhere visible on their website. Here are two of the prominent places where the cancellation fee should ideally be clearly stated: [redacted]

As stated in our response, if there is an error with the transcripts issued by her University, then we ask that she contacts her institution and request a revised official transcript to be sent directly to WES. Upon receipt of a revised or updated transcript, WES will review the document and revise the report if necessary. Furthermore, It is also necessary to point out that evaluations prepared by our service is offered as an advisory opinion and as such, they are not binding upon any institution or organization. In regards to [redacted]’s request for an evaluation of her high school study, the applicant only listed her Bachelor of Arts degree for evaluation. According to WES policies, any credentials not included at the time of the initial application constitute a second application and additional fees may apply. If [redacted] wishes to evaluate her Abitur/high school study, she will need to apply for an upgrade and pay the additional fees. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. WES is correct - I was able to speak with a [redacted] at WES who has been fantastic in helping me problem-solve this issue. While there is no explanation as to why the faxes weren't being received, the [redacted] gave me an alternate way of having my school send information. I am very satisfied with [redacted]'s professionalism and willingness to extend herself and help me. I would also like to reiterate that a part of my complaint was based upon incorrect information and my misunderstanding, in that my potential employer did not receive an evaluation from WES, thus this aspect of my complaint was rightfully disregarded, and while I still believe that WES could work to improve their customer service, I am very pleased with my interactions with [redacted] who has gone out of her way to help me.
