I was searching for a great, used step mill for my home, and I came Gympros Always great with my questions and helped me get exactly what I wanted My machine is just like brand new DEFINITELY recommend to anyone!

I purchased a stepper from gympros last JuneIt took months to arrive and it was brokenThe left step had no resistanceI have been dealing with customer support and even talked to the ownerThey both told me things were gonna happen that never did Customer support was terrible with answering e mail and when I could get them on the phone they would tell me things that never happenedFinally in May almost one year later I paid a company to fix the stepperOnce again customer support tells me accounting will be in touch with me for reimbursement and nothing happensI just want to be reimbursed and never again deal with gympros

Gym pros is a ***I’m only leaving them one star because you cannot go any lowerWe ordered a squat rack for $and received one worth $(if that)That does not include all the headache we had dealin with Brie trying to get ETA’s, and any other information we neededWe also spoke to a Doug who said would help us out with getting a refund for the difference and never heard back from him eitherWorst customer serviceNot worth the headacheThis is a *** of a company

My stationary bike arrive with a broken neck The company appeared to be responsive at first even sending someone to do an estimate on fixing it However, they were always very slow in getting anything done and since the estimate was complete they have stopped communicating with me altogether The bike came with their "lifetime warranty on frame, welds and drive assembly" which they have chosen not to honor apparentlyI purchased the bike November so obviously there has been more than sufficient time to correct this problem The bike is completely useless and is nothing but a large paper weight now I simply want them to fulfill their own stated warranty and fix the bike

every customer understands this as they sign an invoice that clearly states this time frameWe shipped David's unit on 1/and provided him with a tracking numberHe called and said that he no longer wanted the machine because he was quoted a shorter shipping time frameThe customer agreed to a restocking fee and we refunded him for his purchase of the elliptical.

Very responsive until the sale was made Once payment was made, completely unresponsive to emails or phone calls Had to open up a dispute with credit card company to try and get a refund after several weeks chasing them on information on delivery

I purchased two machines from GymprosBoth machines were delivered unusableI notified Gympros via phone and sent emails with pictures for both machinesI spoke with Brie and she explained that a technician will come out to look at the damaged machines and send her a list of parts needed to fix the machine The tech explained he will send Brie pictures and a list a parts to fixed the machineA few parts arrived a short time laterAfter the parts stopped coming I contacted Brie and asked if the techs were coming back to fix the machineShe arranged fo the techs to call meI set up an appointment and the tech came outThe tech arrived and looked at the parts and explained that all the parts have not arrivedAccording to the tech fixing the machine without all the parts doesn't make sinceHe said he will have his manager contact GymprosA few months passed and I contacted Brie to inquire about the repairsShe said she was sending another company out to fix the machine and as

I ordered a bunch of gym equipment from this company around the middle of NovemberAt least $worthI noticed that they had some outrageously good deals that I didn’t want to pass up onI expected to receive everything no later than the 15th of December, since it was a larger orderEverything I ordered ended up arriving by the 13th
From what I could see right away, the gym equipment was in pristine conditionI’ll admit that I started to have mounting apprehension when December hitSince I’ve never done business with this company before prior to my purchase, I was a little skepticalBut my doubts were officially put to rest on the 13thSome good things I can mention about Gym Pros right off the bat are:
-Quick confirmation by email for my order
-I received a phone call from the owner to make sure I didn’t have any additional questions(which is rare)I appreciated the extra effort
-Delivery Time was accurate
-Shipping was executed within days
-Tracking number was easy to follow
-Communication wasn’t needed, however if it was, I know it wouldn’t of been a problem to get a hold of a representative or potentially the owner himself
So if you’re thinking of investing in gym equipment for your own in house gym like me, then I would definitely recommend Gym Pros as your vendorThey have great customer service skills and seem to be solution orientedThank you again for all your assistance!

I received a email from Brett on April 21, Requesting lubricant for his treadmillHe also mentioned to me that the cool down button was not workingI contacted A Technician immediately to go out and lubricate his treadmill as well as check out the cool down buttonI
told the technician it was urgent to get out there was Brett was unsure if he should use without enough lubricantOn 5/20/I received the report from the technician and submitted the request for a new cool down button as well as a wax packetI told Brett that parts were ordered and once he receives to call me so that the technician can go back out and installWe absolutely have been attentive to Brett's request and have already contacted the Technician who is on standby once Brett receives his parts.

I am rejecting this response because:
I am adding my thoughts, in this color, under your response so it will be easier to view it as a conversation. I have been observing this back and forth response and clearly I can sum this up. It seems in many points you have mentioned that you don't have an understanding how these machines perform and what you need to know on an alternator driven machine.
Actually, I have become pretty knowledgable when it comes to the inner workings of these machinesmy real knowledge, however, is based on using these machines as my only source of cardio for the past decadeI spend anywhere from 40 to minutes a day on this exact machine and know how they should perform. Most machines at the gym are currently using the SMor the SMnot my gymthey have nothing but 7000pt's You are using the Stepmill 7000pt , a machine that is years plus old that does not have the advancements of the afore mentioned machines to compare against, yet still a great machine but its not apples to apples if you are comparing the 7000pt to the others mentioned
lets clear this up...I am only comparing this machine to other Stepmill 7000pt's, not either of the newer machines. We sell over step mills a year, we understand all these machines perfectly. Lets address these points
1----the machine is still very noisy-
A: This machine uses a Transmission , it will make that whirling noise , all these machines do so, its not broken I can assure you all of these machines do thisThey are by far the loudest cardio machines compared to self generated Ellipticals, steppers and or bikesYou can go to a gym and understand these are much quieter when placed in a bigger room full of other equipment going off at the same time but you will need to understand, that is the machine and what it doesAgain, this is not a new experience for meof course, the steppers, bikes and ellipticals are quieter, but my point that I specifically listed regarding the noise my machine makes seems to not be give any merit. I will repeat it again in case you missed this part...I tested my machine, listening very close to the sound it was makingI then drove directly to the gym and did the same test on different machinesEach of the machines was quieter and faster than my machineAnd yes, I of course, took into account the size of the room and the noise around me, but it was early in the day and pretty quietI also put me head very close to the machine to get the true noise level on each machineThat been said, the smand the SMare newer and do have significant advancements on engineering on their components
2----the machine wont recognize my wife or daughter because of their weight (and lbs.)-
A: The machine does have a weight limit, 100lbs for these commercial machines will not detect such a light userThis will explain why it works with heavier users and not the otherThat is the way its designed , not a faulty machine at allWhile I appreciate your claim that this machine is not faulty, I would say the following:
I have heard many different responses to this issue, but have also worked out next to children and petite women on these machines for ten plus years, so why does it work at the gym and not at home? I even took my wife to the gym and we tested all of the 7000pt models and every single one worked just fineI have heard from several people that there are things that can be done to correct this issue, our problem has just been that the techs that have been sent out are just not familiar enough with them to know the procedures or not willing to put in the time to correct this issue. the stairmaster rep was confident that adjusting the tension on the machine or "massaging it to just the right amount of tension would correct this issue"
3----the machine isn't even close on specified steps per minute-
A: This sounds like a reprogramming issue if anythingIf this is just a re programming issue, why has it not been repaired in any of the first three visits...everytime a tech is sent out, I miss a couple hours of work, so finding someone who can work thru these issues without giving up and leaving or only repairing one thing and then leaving, would be great
4----when I turn the machine off, while standing on it, the machine takes minutes to lower me to the ground.-
A: The machine is on an alternator which holds its resistance lowering the user gradually when the machine has stopped , its not suppose to free fall ,else this would cause injury, its suppose to be gradualYes, Roy, I understand that the machine is not supposed to free fall to the ground...but again, I probably have more experience using these machines than any of us reading this email and I know at what speed the machine should lower you back to the ground after a workoutit is a gradual decline, but it shouldn't take nearly as long as it does with this particular machine. I would estimate that it takes times as long as the machines at the gymI would be ok with this issue if it were the only issue, but as it isn't, I wanted to bring it up as it just sounds like another area of operation that feels tightit actually sounds like every complaint I have is corrulated to this tight issue...the stairmaster rep agreed with that statement and we felt like the right tech and the right adjustments could fix all of these issues at once
5----when I turn the machine off it stops very suddenly and makes a noise I have never heard another stairmaster make-
A: What Kind of noise? Surely when it stops , there shouldn't be any noise period?
The noise is best described as, "WREEWWHHH!" not sure if that came thru in the email, so I can also describe it as a very sudden stop to the machineit is just another noise or feeling that I dont get on other such machinesthe other machines simply just stop, without any noise at allit once again, makes me feel as though the machine is under extra tension so getting it moving takes extra effort and the stopping of it is more sudden and dramatic than the machines that flow freeier6----the machine takes longer than it should to get movingit gets going faster and faster but does so slowly and sounds like the machine is winding out. it honestly sounds like it is going to keep getting louder and louder until it blows up...I know it wont, but that is how it sounds
A: Very Simple, we can call our tech back to make another observation and or diagnose the unitI have reported every issue I notice to each tech so far, and they have not corrected even the workability of the machine yet
Usually the faster you work on these machines the harder the components internally workIt does get louder the faster you work on theseAgain, with a minimum of hours on these machines, I am very familiar with the sound difference at each levelthis machine, however, winds up in a very strange wayby the time we hit level 20, the machine is sounding very loud and strained...and my current level 20, as you remember is running at only 72% of the listed steps per minuteso, working harder and doing less, again sounds like a tension issue
In any event, we will send a tech out again, we will diagnose, he will test the machine and he will have you there to educate you better on what to expect and what is the norm on these machinesI will also go ahead and send out a new transmission for the service tech to evaluate if it even needs this just out of Courtesy Your courtesy is appreciated, and I will be there with the tech, but if it is either of the two techs previously sent out, I am afraid I wont learn anythingI would ask that this next visit be scheduled with an actual repair man from the stairmaster outfit headquartered in Vancouver Washingtonit is a quick trip over the bridge and they seem much more willing and able to put in the effort to get this machine working correctlyplease let me know that this is the direction you are planning to go and keep me in the loop as to how quickly this can happenI would suggest to you, as I did to Brie, that you take a few moments of your time and call them directly, and stay on the phone until you get an appointment actually scheduled, instead of emailing and prolonging my being able to use this machine...we are over days now since I ordered this machine and still haven't been able to use it.
Understand Mr*** we are looking for a solution for you we are not ignoring you, but you going around as if you feel you have been robbed is a little unjustified in my opinion, all we have ever done and are doing is given you our full attention and supportThank you for that Mr***,
I, like you, am also just looking for a solutionI don't feel as though I have been robbed, but when you look at the fact that I spent $2,on a machine and days later it still isn't working correctly and the company wants to charge me about $1,to return it...it starts to feel as though I am being taken advantage ofI am a business owner with employees on my payroll, so believe me when I say that I run into my share of unhappy customersMy approach though is to contact them directly and solve the problem very quicklyif I heard that I sent an employee or a third party to a customers house and they were as rude and un helpful as the last tech sent to my house was, I would be pissed and would be on the phone to stairmaster to set up a real repair already! everyday that goes by with this machine doing nothing but give me place to hang my shirts, is one too many at this pointA little gratitude acknowledging this fact goes a long waySo please less on the defensive and more on the other would be greatly appreciatedI am, admittedly, not the nicest guy in the world, nor do I have much patience for slow moving repairs, but I do show appreciation when some one goes out of their way to get something donefor instance, if you get on the phone right now and get an appointment scheduled with Stairmaster and call or text with this appointment time...I will be grateful and will show my appreciation.
We will have a service tech reach out to you once we have the part send out to you in the next few daysthis is another idea that can be improved upon...the first thing I need to know is which company you plan to send to my houseif it is the same as before, we need to change thatif it is stairmaster, then I think you should figure the arrival date of the parts and call stairmaster to schedule the repair for the very next dayI don't want to wait for the parts to arrive and then start the ball rolling to get the appointment scheduledthese are two items that don't require the 1st action to be completed before scheduling the 2nd action, so time can be saved and my machine can become useful that much quicker with just some simple follow thru on your end

Great experience, got a fair price on a used Precor AMT They delivered it quickly When the machine had a few issues they picked up the phone and resolved the issue within hours If you call, ask for Brie, she's very professional and solves problems
