Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I called to cancel before they shipped anything out when I could not find out how to cancel. And, even... though they told me they canceled the account days later they debited my checking account. I called that very morning my account was debited, and they told me they could not refund the money, because they shipped the product. Again, they told me they canceled the membership over the phone. I sent the product back as soon as I received it. I had to pay return shipping for something that should have been canceled days before. They only partially refunded the amount they debited from my account, and said they charged me for the shipping of the products that should have been canceled before they even debited my account. I do not feel I owe that to them since they are the at fault for not canceling the membership the first time I called. Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: First of all, when I ordered the "promo" CD an email followed days latter saying the CD was shipped. There wasn't a word in it about a 10-day evaluation period.Second, on 9-25-15, I sent an email saying I was returning the 2nd package I received. On 9-28-I received an email stating my account was closed. The second package was postmarked 9-27-15. If my account was truly closed, no shipment of another volume should have been made and I wouldn't have been charged in the first place. Your terms and conditions state if an order is cancelled before shipment is made, no charge will be made. The way I see it, my account was cancelled before shipment was made.When I received the first CD, it was in a cellophane package and you could clearly see it was one CD. The 2nd and 3rd package I received came in brown cardboard boxes and I have no idea how many were in the package. How could you think anyone was exploiting the offer when anyone could clearly see the packages were completely different.Also, on 10-6-I called for a return authorization number per the instructions in the 9-28-email and I was told I could not return this package because I didn't cancel my account in time or properly. It sounded like these packages are going to just keep coming. That is outrageous. I've seen a lot of complaints of this nature online about your company. No one can get their money back. I don't think all of those complaints can be good for business. I've said it before and I'll say it again, that is the dumbest business practice I have ever seen. No one says you can't return something because you have already returned something. As I said, they were completely different packages and if you can't see that, then you are willfully charging people for something and that can't be right. If these charges appear on my next *** bill, this same letter will go to *** and they will investigate. By the way, your "promo" CD didn't help me at all. Sincerely,*** ***

The way our program works is that, we give away a hypnotherapy CD for free which we typically retail for $and as part of the promotion we only charge $for shipping and handlingThe reason why we do this is because we simply want to introduce people to the YourBetterTomorrow series of
hypnotherapy, an audio session on CD and for them to evaluate itThe evaluation period starts days from when we shipped the complimentary CD and for us to hear their feedbackIf we do not hear from them, it tells us that the customer liked the product and we charged $and proceed to send the first set of CDsThere is no obligation to purchase anything as the customer has a complete control whether they want to continue or cancel the membership so that no further billings and shipments will occur We provided full information to the customer about our program when signing up and must agree to our terms and conditions and by accepting the offer, the customer is agreed to be enrolled into our autoship program called Club-YBT and authorizing YourBetterTomorrow to charge the account on file for further shipments of CDs unless cancelledTo request for a refund, kindly call our customer service line at ***, option to speak to a live representative so we can take care of the issue

Mr*** took advantage of our offer for a free hypnoetherapy CD which retails for $ By taking advantage of this promotion, he is enrolled in our auto ship program which starts days after the promotional CD is shipped The days is provided so the customer can try the CD, and
decide if he would like to receive the other CDs, or if he would like to discontinue If he cancelled within this days evaluation period, he would have avoided all charges, and nothing else would be shipped, as there is no obligation to purchase anything It seems that Mr*** overlooked the terms, and he was charged and shipped the first volume

First, all agents give their names upon accepting calls
Second, we give a reference no upon request
And lastly, all calls are recorded
With regards to the product that was sent back, you can check with USPS that we have not received any
