I am a customer of ZocDoc and have had a less than favorable experienceThey sell a very good speech on the phone to entice you to purchase their services; however, after you pay they all but forget youI have called repeatedly with no helpEach time I call a person says that the person attached to my account will call me backThey don'tI have asked to discontinue my service and have asked for a refundThe stated that no refund would be givenI am writing this with hopes that they will understand it is not ok to falsely advertise services and then when money is collected completely forget about the customer

I set up an appointment with this physician through zocdocWell it turns out the doctor is utilizing fraudulent advertising practices to bait patients to her officeShe has BCBS of IL listed on her Zocdoc profile (which she used to conduct all patient booking) as well as on her practice's websiteWhen I went to see her she appeared to be the only person working in the office, she also does her own billing apparently I showed her my insurance information and she assured be that she accepted it (aka told me I was covered)After my "examination" (which consisted of using and IPHONE flashlight application to look down my throat - gross), she asked me if I could just "chase quick pay" herI don't have [redacted] quick pay, so I said noSo she pulled out a Square (a personal card reader) and told me paying by card was fineShe took my card and swiped it without even telling me what the total wasBy the time the transaction had gone through she then told me the total, a whopping $for NOTHING but a minimal physical examI asked her what exactly I was being charged that amount for and she refused to tell me or give me an itemized billShe also refused to file a claim with my insurance provider (BCBSIL) I was horrifiedI immediately contacted BCBS to ask how I'm supposed to file a claim without a bill and they told me that she is not listed ANYWHERE in their databaseSo she lied about being a providerI've since contacted her 5x to ask for a bill or itemized receipted and she refused/played dumb (she actually send me a bullet-point list of "services" and thought that would suffice) and now is flat out ignoring meI sent her a formal request via mail demanding that she provide a bill to me as it is my right as a patient under HIPAAI still have not received anything I've posted a negative review of my experience on Zocdoc and the the review was promptly disabledI've contact Zocdoc multiple times about my experience and how I was ripped off and they refuse to offer any sort of help in solving this issueEven after verifying with BCBS that she is not a provider, her profile on Zocdoc is still allowed to display the information , which goes COMPLETELY against Zocdoc's policy

I have been using Zocdoc for years and I have continually had problems with themI live in NYC and when I book appointments with them, times out of it is never with the doctor I chose, it is with someone else I sometimes get no shows like todayI was at an acupuncturist's officeThey had called twice to confirm the appointment and when I arrived with my personal aide, they said the acupuncturist wasn't thereI checked to see if they accepted my insurance on Zocdoc for an acupuncture sessionThey said they didBut, no, they don't I was told I have to pay $for an acupuncture session and to not waste this appointment, I can get a physical therapy session which was just a light massage on my legsI tried to write the negative review on the site without using any foul language, not slandering anyone, just sharing my honest experience and the fact that I have to pay cash and come back for the actual acupuncture session and then they tell me they cannot publish this reviewThis seems shady to me because this is what happened to me before I was seen by another doctor, a neurologist, and that doctor treated me very poorly and my daughter who she called, and I wanted to include that in my review(I have multiple sclerosis and she didn't want me to get bi-annual mris)But they didn't feel like publishing BUT they'll publish the positive reviews right awayI have had enough with ZocdocI am tired of not getting the doctors listed, of the no-shows, and of doctors not accepting the insurance even though it says it on ZocdocI also don't appreciate that they don't like publishing negative reviewsPeople need to see what may happen should they go to these doctors

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: This is a quote from the ZocDoc [redacted] (***) who worked with me to set up the contract: "You would be profiting a few thousand per month by being on zocdocCheck out the numbers and then for whatever reason you still choose not to then that's fine but the for the year will be covered within months." The "standard agreement" they speak of was made based on lies told to me by their [redacted] , which should essentially nullify any agreement made This matter seems straight forward to me: I was lied to by their [redacted] and now their service is not producing what I expected entering the agreement- My understanding is that I was misled by their [redacted] , and I believe the appropriate way to concede is to refund me for the results they promised me but I did not receive If I ever promised someone results and I didn't get them the results I told them I would, there would most definitely be a refund I believe this to be true for most decent honest individuals I will not consider this issue resolved until a refund is provided Thank youSincerely, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

At this time, I have been contacted directly by ZocDoc regarding complaint ID [redacted] , however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Absolutely no action have been taken towards the complaint to rectify the situation In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I just started using Zoc Doc a few weeks ago and out of the times I have had two negative experiencesI was referred to my PCP and was told to sign up, especially because he had worked with my insurance - ZD was misleading because it said it didn't take it, but his office did once I calledOnce that got taken care of, everything was great and he was very, very, very helpful Before choosing him, I contacted another potential provider, clicked on my insurance option, booked the appointment for location I needed - and I immediately got a call saying that I had to cancel the appointment because that location didn't carry my insuranceThe phrase they used was "they were working towards carrying that insurance in that location"I was immediately cancelled This last time - I booked an appointment on referral of my PCP who let me know that there were some openings on his Zoc DocI got the appointment, confirmed it, rescheduled my day and found coverage and went in the freezing coldI got there and was told that my appointment did not exist because I was supposed to call and confirm with the actual office itself ZocDoc's response time was great in both instances - but how many gift cards can I get or emails saying this is a rare occurrence before it starts to be the norm? I was told that I don't have to confirm the appointment, but the office said I didThere is a huge systemic misinformation gap and patients are paying the price with situations like thisIt's bad business, especially wihen it boils down to health

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I paid $3,to be listed under Physiatrist for zip code area of [redacted] ( [redacted] ).If you go to ZocDoc.com and do a search for Physiatrist in [redacted] area, our listing shows up in 5th place below a doctor who is miles away, miles, miles, and another miles awayThese doctors are not even in [redacted] Where is my listing and why is it placed so far down?If the search is pulling results based on user rating, please note, none of these other listings that are above mine have a five star, whereas we do.Please check the screenshot I am attaching with is message to verify for yourself. Also, the person who contacted me from ZocDoc, [redacted] , insists on communicating by phone rather than using the Revdex.com communication board or emailI warn you, this company uses pressure tacticsMy attorney as advised me (and I will recommend to anyone reading this) only communicate with this company by means of paper trail In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***
