Dear *** *** (Customer ID # ***),
I sincerely apologize for any
inconvenience that has occurred here with your account
Generally speaking, aside from the email notifications that
are sent out prior to domain renewals, domains and hosting packages are
separate entitiesThe domain: hockeytrip.info had been canceled back on 7/16/14,
however, the hosting package remained active under the accountDue to this, a
new invoice generated for another year of the hosting package
According to our records, your last conversation with one of
our agents (Andrew K) on 8/7/resolved the issue under your account, as we
canceled the active hosting package, and cleared the balance of $That
being said, for your records, this account is no longer active, and there is no
balance due, as everything was canceled and waived prior to this Revdex.com Complaint
There is nothing owed that would result in this account being reported to a
collection team
Once more, we apologize for any inconvenience that has been
caused here

I have contacted this company over times either by phone or email to resolve this matterI have requested the following from them:
To date I have not received any confirmation from 1and1.com or Eric T*** who is the CEO of the organization what I have requested
This was a brand new credit card that I received from *** *** do to my previous card being hack in the amount over $1,So I would like to know how they received my credit card information, and asked that they remove any database or data files of my contact information from their recordsI did not and would not order from this companyI have no need to I also asked that they remove the charges even though that I have already recorded it as fraudulent to *** ***I want a letter of confirmation that my data information will be removed, the charges have been dropped, and that I will not be bothered by them in the future from this point forwardIt’s that simple
Once again,
*** ** *** *** * ***

I am the owner of the *** *** *** ***I signed up for web hosting and domains with this company about ten years agoIn the last year, I noticed an unusual amount of charges to my credit card by and I decided to stop doing business with them in August I was suppose to get a transfer of my domain names to another companyThey had not released my domain names until March, They did not follow the protocol to send another release code after they sent the initial authorization to releaseDue to their neglect in sending the follow up release, they said the time had expired to release the domains to meThey said I had to repurchase the domain names if I wanted to expedite the transfer to another companyI paid for one domain and sent it to a ** *** accountand told me my other two domain names could also be repurchased or they would be released to the public in thirty daysI waited the thirty days to find that the names were put up for sale for

Last year, I bought a website service through 1&1, and was told, both in the contract (#***) and promotional material that I would be paying $(USD) per yearWhen my payment period came around (around December 2015) I paid the $dollars, only to receive a letter a week later which asserted that I owed over $dollarsNaturally, I didn't pay this, since I didn't really owe them anything by this point, and I cancelled my 1&websiteI also found that they had placed a second contract on my account (account #***) which I never agreed to, (contract #***) and I cancelled it as wellThis did not make them give up on attempting to charge me for an excess of $(which I reiterate again, I never owed this money and never agreed to a contract with that fee), and now they're having debt collectors from the *** *** call me to extort money from me

I keep cancelling this service and 1&keep charging me and auto renewing my contractNot only they request that you cancel online but they also require that you follow up with a call to their cancellation dept which is very very insufficient They make it almost impossible to reach them and then they do not process the full cancellation
I stop paying and now they want to collect additional monies from me
Their cancellation practice are unfair and not justifiable They claim it is for the user's own security but if it were so, they would not make process to be so painful

Dear *** *** (Customer ID
# ***),
I sincerely apologize for any
inconvenience associated with the cancellation of your account, and the balance
being sent to collections
In order to assist you with this matter, we are removing your account from
collections*** *** will remove you from any list that they have, and
this will not, and has not, affected your credit. As well, we are wiping
clean the outstanding balance of $ 57.23, that you have with either *** or
1&Internet. No more money will be owed on this account and you will
no longer be required to contact *** or 1&Internet regarding this
unfortunate situation
That being said, for your records, this account has been
canceledMoving forward, you will no longer be billed or invoiced for this
service
We apologize for any inconvenience that has been caused here
Thank you

I had a very negative experience with this company I realized - after giving my info- that I had made a mistake I read the fine print and saw that I was agreeing to pay 200/month for hosting I called immediately - especially after reading that this biz is a commplete scam I was still charged after about a week- after being assured that they had canecelled membership I've had my information compromised in the past This is very scary to me and I'm very frustrated about the situation

We tried a service offered from our internet hosting company, and When we tried to cancel the service well within the trial period as they advertise, they would not refund all the money even after several callsWe had to place a dispute with the credit card company to try to resolve the matter as they will not refund all the money owed, and have been refunded only piecemeal amounts since we placed the dispute, but still not all of it as of yetThey are now denying us access to our websites that we paid for already and want us to drop the dispute of the money they should have refunded so that we will be given access again to the parts we paid for already, but they still owe us back as of todayWe feel that this is a strongarm robbery tactic as we are being told that if we drop the dispute they will give us access to what we have paid for already but they will not refund the money owed to us without our dropping the dispute firstThey want us to drop the dispute first and

Stay AWAY from 1and!!! SCAMMERS !!!! I moved all my domains away from them and chose not to renew the ones I did not wantThey sent the account to some collections company called central credit services llcI highly doubt its a real collections company, but I refuse to pay for something I no longer need or wantedI will tell all my friends to stay away from 1andand I will never do business with them again1andis a SCAM and needs to find better business practisesif they wanted to keep a customer they would do a better job

I asked several times to cancel the service, they refused to do so and told me that it would end at the completion of the contract When the contract ended they recharged me for another year of service and immediately sent me an email saying they have applied a credit but it will take business days to receive
My bank has nothing that says the transaction is being refunded and I am currently out of almost dollars
They are not responding to my emails and the one they did respond to is labeled as spam on their end

This company makes it impossible for anyone to cancel their contractI spoke with customer service who assured me they had cancelled everything and still had over $in charges from this thieving bunchThey are dishonestI have SCREENSHOTS of my things being cancelled and they still charged me for themI recorded the call where the agent told me it was cancelled and they STILL charged me

Dear *** *** (Customer ID # ***, and # ***),
I sincerely apologize for any
inconvenience associated with the attempted charges in question and claims to
active services
In regard to this particular matter, what you are explaining
here sounds like fraudulent activity against you, in the way that your credit
card/personal information had been compromisedI have seen similar situations
such as this with our company, along with many others. Through the credit
card/personal information being obtained elsewhere by a hacker or
whoever/however it may have been, online orders and accounts are then placed
with 1&1, ***, *** ***, etc
After investigating this matter further, it was found that
these accounts were set up under your name (ID # ***, and # ***)
Our records indicate that under Customer ID # *** you were physically
charged in the amount of $0.99, however, the other invoices each in the
amount of $had been declined, and eventually handed
over to our Collections TeamDue to that, we are pulling and waiving this
balance from collections, and this will not, and has not affected your credit
We are issuing a refund for the $charge that had been debited from your
credit cardIf the card ending in “***” is still active, you will receive
this refund within 3-business days, if the card is no longer active, you will
have to dispute the charge with your bank or financial institution
Along with that, our records show that there
was a charge in the amount of $physically debited from the same credit
card under Customer ID # ***We had received a Chargeback from your bank
or financial institution regarding this, so you have already been refunded for that
particular chargeThis Chargeback caught the attention of our Fraud Team, who
has already canceled this account due to suspicious and fraudulent activity
That being said, I have also canceled Customer ID # ***,
so that moving forward, you will no longer be billed or invoiced for any
unwanted and fraudulent services
Once more, we apologize for any inconvenience that has been
caused here
Thank you
