information and any content they uploaded to the account themselves ('About Us' text, FAQ answers, photos, videos, etc.). However, all public information will always remain in our catalog, which includes a business' name, phone number, and business address. Also, all reviews remain on WeddingWire as they are the full editorial rights of the individuals who publish the content. Once a business listing is inactivated, it simply remains as a place holder for all the reviews posted for the account, since each review must be linked with the business the client wrote the review for.This vendor disputed the three negative reviews on their account on April 29, 2015 and they are actively being verified by our Dispute Team. Once a review is disputed, it is temporarily hidden on a vendor's public storefront, so these reviews are currently not displaying for this business. WeddingWire will be reaching out to each reviewer directly to verify by either a signed contract or proof of payment whether or not the reviewer was a legitimate client of the vendor. If we receive the requested documentation that shows these reviewers were in fact  clients of '[redacted]', then the reviews will be reinstated. However, if we do not receive the necessary documentation to verify these reviews, then the reviews will be removed. WeddingWire only removes reviews that violate our Terms of Use (section 13, specifically). WeddingWire wants vendors to be in control over their WeddingWire account and any reviews they receive, which is why the dispute process was put in place. Vendors are always able to dispute a review they believe is fraudulent or violates WeddingWire's Terms of Use.Lastly, a WeddingWire support representative informed this vendor on April 29, 2015 that the email address [email protected] can be used to contact our Legal Team, which is also included in our Terms of Use.If this vendor would like us to inactivate their account, we would be happy to do so. To determine whether or not a review abides by or violates WeddingWire’s Terms of Use, a vendor is able to formally dispute any review their business receives by logging in to their WeddingWire account.This business has formally disputed this particular negative review from within their WeddingWire account, which means it is hidden on their public storefront. The WeddingWire Dispute Team has reached out to the reviewer requesting either a signed contract or proof of payment verifying whether or not they were in fact a paying customer of [redacted]. If we receive the necessary documentation verifying this individual was in fact a client of theirs, the review will be reinstated on the [redacted] account. If we do not receive the necessary documentation, then the review will be removed entirely. The reviewer has a total of 60 days from the start of this process (which was on 10/27) to send us the necessary documentation. We spoke to [redacted] from [redacted] on Friday 10/30/2015 morning at 11:30am and explained our review policy and verification process in detail to him. Therefore, we have no control over the quality, accuracy, safety, or legality of the transactions that take place on our website, or the accuracy of listings, or the ability of vendors to provide items or services. Most importantly, WeddingWire is not responsible for the actions or inactions of any wedding members or vendor members that utilize our platform. More importantly, there is no fee for our wedding members to utilize any of the functions on WeddingWire - [redacted] used WeddingWire.com to find her vendor for free. Wedding members are able to search for vendors, gather information about their services, and read reviews about that business for free, similar to many other review platform sites.We understand this individual may have contacted a vendor through our platform to provide services for their wedding, but any transaction that took place was between the client and the vendor directly. I am rejecting this response because:From: [redacted] <[redacted].com>Date: Wed, Aug 17, 2016 at 1:24 PMSubject: Re: Complaint Response ([redacted])To: [redacted] <[redacted]@myRevdex.com.org>WeddingWire is the only website that I have used for advertising that insists on keeping the businesses listed that no longer exist, regardless of whether there are reviews or not. Listing my business as one that does wedding makeup when I do not is false advertising and I do not want my business to be a part of that. It is unethical and clearly an attempt to pad the website and attract customers. When people call me, I have to tell them I am no longer in business, and that WeddingWire is using my business to falsely advertise. I am sure you will lose potential customers by continuing to advertise a product that does not exist. I want my business name removed from the site immediately.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not agree that they have addressed my concerns regarding my account.I did not understand their response in the previous messages regarding the standing of my account. Until I have a clear understanding of where my account stands, I don't feel that the matter is settled. They must notify me that they have closed out my account and any removed any balances due before I will feel that the issue is resolved.
