I purchased a pair of Oakley Chamfer eyeglass frames for $and sent them to 39dollarglasses.com to have lenses fitted and installedI placed the lens order for $and mailed them on February **, I received the glasses back on March **, and inspected them upon arrivalI found three separate cracks in the upper right portion of the framesThis was from incorrect measurement and fitting of the lenses, causing the structural integrity to be compromised and crack I called 39dollarglasses.com on March **, to inform them of the situationThe initial representative, Venessa, explained to me that nothing could be done other then sending the lenses back and fitting them on one of there cheap framesThis would essentially leave me with a broken pair of Oakley frames that I spent over $onShe then explained that this was company policy and they weren't responsible for frames that they damagedI asked to speak with a manager and David came on the phone

Arrrggghhh…39dollarglasses.com…I wanted so badly to write you a good review…but I can’tYou disappointed me twice – and with the most basic of quality control checks Your first attempt at re-lensing my Oakley Evade titanium frames ended with the lenses being sent to me not having any edge polish at all – literally rough to the touchOn a completely rimless frame like the Oakley, how do you miss something like that? The glasses were returned to me for a second time last weekThis time, I immediately noticed the edge polish was there – perfect…right? NopeI opened the temples, sat them on a table and the frames were twisted so unevenly that one temple was half an inch off the table surface! Again, how can you miss something so clearly wrong? I understand mistakes happen, but in both cases, we’re talking about very obvious quality control failuresIn the end, I did my best to manhandle my poor frames and twist them back to their original shape, figuring that’s what you would do anyway if I sent them back againI decided that would be a better option than giving 39dollarglasses.com a third try to get it right

I have purchased my eyeglasses online for years and recently I tried 39dollarglasses.com To keep it short and sweet I paid $for glasses that literally just fell apart six months after owning themThey were constantly crooked and I brought them into several repair shops They drill directly into the lenses so nobody locally can repair these thingsEverybody told me the lenses were garbage All I want to the company to do is repair my glasses but they wontMaybe it's because they cant, who knows I would NOT recommend doing business with them I'm very surprised to see the rating they have

We are slightly confused by this complaint as well as the requested outcome, as the customer was indeed refunded for the amount requestedThese refunds were performed on This was advised to the customer as well via the email of the refund receipts sent to the customer via email, which we do have record of sending to him several days ago

As per our advice by phone, email and Live chat to the customer at the outset, production using his own frame is a 7-business day process, depending upon His frame was received by us on 415, as per the email we sent to him on that dateAs of this writing, we are at the 13th business dayThis was due to failure during production, which was advised to the customerThe customer requested we cancel his order using the Gucci frame and clear prescription lenses this past Friday, and his frame, as per our advice that we would do so today, has been returned to himThis order has also been refunded in fullThe customer is correct that we experienced more than one failure on this pair, due to the higher prescription strength and choice of a semi-rimless frame.The other pair, using the Prada frame and polarized sunglass lenses, experienced only one failure, and was completed this morning.As per his directive to NOT cancel this order unless it failed again, will be shipped in completed state with the prescription lenses installed today, in line with our advice made to him this past Friday.The glasses have been sent back via Priority mail
