We are sorry to hear that the consumer is unhappy with the outcome of this situationIf he is willing to work with Hamilton Beach, we will send him a prepaid shipping label to return the unit for a replacementWe unfortunately, do not repair unitsIf the consumer is in agreement, we can either

No customer should have to pay additional fees for what should be a working unitI have made at least three attempts to contact and each time has been a failureThe first attempt the wait time was over minutes, I left a message and have yet to have a return callSecond attempt the wait time was minutes to which I waited over minutes and left another message with no return callThird attempt was made today with a wait time of minutesI do not have time to sit on hold for over an hour

Consumer was unable to provide a purchase receipt. HBB then suggested consumer send us a photo of the cut cord. Consumer sent a photo, but it did not show the cut cord. We have tried to work with consumer, but based on our warranty policy, we need one of these two items.

I asked for a replacement of the food processor broken by poor packing on the company's part. They did not reply to that. I asked for information about any other customer complaints about metal shards from food processors. They did not offer any information. I asked for my refund from the $[redacted] charged to my card for the cancelled replacement order. They say this is processing, but I do not see this reflected on my credit card statement. They offered to reimburse me for the $** for the packing materials, however, I do not have the receipt from that transaction in February so it appears they will not provide reimbursement.Regards,[redacted]

A shipping label was mailed Friday, April 8, 2016. We ask that the consumer keep us informed as to whether they receive the label. Thank you.
