A1 Janitorial Supply

A1 Janitorial Supply is a company that uses the poor business practice of convincing you that you're getting a product for free, then billing you and persistently harassing you to pay for that product when you had no intention of ever buying it in the first place.
My story is the same as most who reviewed this company. They called me up out of the blue and asked if I was interested in their product. I said not really. The sales rep convinced me to accept a sample and that it would cost me nothing. I said fine. The product came followed by a $133.25 bill a few weeks later.
To no surprise, when I called to resolve this, [redacted] I called 3 times and talked to 2 different people. I asked both of them to turn me over to their manager, and both of them claimed to be the manager. When one of them realized that I wasn't gonna let her go until the problem was resolved, she started pretending that the line was breaking up and then she hang up on me, even though neither of us were on a cell phones.
I could spend more time writing about my bad experience with this company, but it's not worth my time. The bottom line is, do not deal with this company. If they call you, don't even give them the courtesy of telling them you're not interested. Just hang up.

A sales person From A1 Janitorial contacted our maintenance person and said he wanted to send us a sample trial of his product. Nothing about a cost or charge that would be charged just a sample trial size. He was told we didn't require the product but he said he would send it anyways. We were then sent an invoice. When we contacted them to let them know this was in error and we would be sending back the product they said they don't do sample sizes. The product is non returnable and that the account would remain open until paid. I told them we would not be paying the invoice as we did not approve the delivery. They said it would just remain open. We will be sending the product back COD but they were very rude on the phone [redacted] they say there will be a sample sent then bill for the company without prior confirmation for the order.

I work for a large Nursing home in Toronto, I am in charge of ordering for the Environmental department, this company called and claimed they would send us a sample drain cleaner which I told them we did not require, they said it was free with absolutely no charge, a week later I got the sample, which was a bucket of drain powder, then they sent us a bill for $105.00. After trying to find out how to return it, they said it could not be, they then send us demand letters to pay the bill or they would take legal action. They call weekly since then for sales, claiming they have been ordered to call from our head office which is a lie, when I mention we only use complete purchasing, they continue to press claiming the manager with our company told them to do the order, when I mention I am the manager, they hang up. Do not deal with this company!
