They are all pretty much touching on the same issues I had intended on complaining about myself regarding this company, Invasion of Privacy, Phishing, Unethical Business Practices, Deceptive Business Practices, and again, INVASION OF PRIVACY I am not even sure how this company got my email address and my information I went to their website and was reading who they are, then went almost immediately to read their Privacy Policy and I decided right away I wanted nothing to do with this company or their app I got the email address it says to email to in order to delete your account and I have sent a "Demand" email to it demanding my account and any and all information associated with it be immediately completely deleted Because it states in their Privacy Policy that they will retain a profile on you along with any information you did not delete before deleting your account THIS IS ABSURD! I told them in my email that I cannot log onto their website to see and delete information they have on me because I do not allow myself and my device to be tracked by cookies and other deceptive tracking means and I certainly do not use websites and apps that require access to my personal information on my device, i.e., contacts , apps I use, etc Now that I have read just some of these reviews I am very frightened at what information they have of mine in their website that they won't delete, very frightened because I am guessing from these reviews that it is a losing battle trying to get this company to remove a persons information and to cease and desist from invading your privacy I haven't even read the "Complaints" here on this Revdex.com site yet I am almost afraid to*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** ** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ** ***
The Next Door social media site lacks tough enforcement of its guidelines Leads are incapable of stopping the negative, uncivil toxicity which creeps into local neighborhood discourse Reporting procedures are mediocre Despite many guideline abuses, the same posters are allowed to spew their opinions and in some cases hijacking the discourse of a neighborhood blogOverposting, cyberbullying, ranting, uncivil rhetoric must be stopped or what was to be a nice, neighborly tool will do just the opposite If Next Door corporate can't get this straightened out, and fast, this site is doomed to failure*** *** ** *** ** ***
This company has a good idea but have been terrible with customer serviceFirst, they don't have any kind of phone support - and it's very difficult to find out their contact info on the web siteThey offer a business page but allow very little info to be published about the business and there are very few options to customize the listingThe web site is difficult to navigate and seems to jump from section to section with no cohesivenessI'm still not sure what page I'm supposed to start out onWhat's the main page? Facebook has a page that I land on when I go onto the site and all info is easily navigated from that pageI like the idea but this company doesn't seem to know how to get this thing working correctly
