My experience was like many who had a bad experience The moderator has a clique, like High School, and they control everything, and they all gang up on those they don't like I had multiple posts removed concering political issues in my city When petitioned to find out why, I was given the flimsiest of reasons, yet, I would see similar posts meeting the same so-called violations and those posts stayed because they wer part of the clique STAY AWAY unless you want to risk getting deleted for speaking your opinion

We are in the process of moving and I had used Nextdoor previously I wanted to see if it covered our new location, so I input the address we're under contract with I saw that it was covered and read the print that said to move forward through the app I needed to confirm I lived at the address I do not yet (expect to close next month), so I backed out Then I found out yesterday that Nextdoor used my information and sent a postcard with my information to the address (which is NOT my address and which is why I did NOT submit the request) We are under contract and I think the current owners could find this all a bit presumptuous and annoy them - potentially affecting the ultimate deal More so, I think it's a breach of privacy for Nextdoor to use my information when I did NOT complete the form (their email to me noted I had NOT completed the form)And of course they sent an email from an account that is not monitored so I couldn't quickly contact them I don't trust any of may data to this business
