Alex Price was very informative, explaining what the issue was with my loans whereas the last place I spoke with didn't seem to know. He got me into a program in which I'll only be paying $9 a month!! That's a far cry from the $235 that was being asked for. This is a huge help being as I fell for a scam a few years ago. I appreciate Alex's transparency. Made my day.

Alumni Support Center has helped me by first calming me down because of my hug student loan debt. They listened to me and assured me of the government assistance program available. They assured me of the lowest payment possible. I feel really blessed today. A hug weight just fell off me.

The representative Mr. Leroy Lee made a hug difference because I thought it was a hoax. I strongly recommend you to please start or join them today on the road to freedom from student loan debt. You will be glad you did.

Great Service and communications. I highly recommend Alumni Support Services for student loan management.

Alex Price went above and beyond requirements for helping me with my federal loan. He was very personable and caring, we need more people like him in the world. God Bless!!!??

I can't describe the help I received from Alumni Support for my student loans. Before I received their phone call, I was worred about the $25k balance that I had on my student loans. They were very helpful in explaining the whole process with me and the person on the phone was very patient and understanding with all the questions that I had. Our phone call was over an hour long and I ended saving myself almost $20k in my student debt with their help! I would highly recommend alumni to anyone who needs help with their student loans!

Alumni support is great. really helped me with getting my monthly payments down. I will let people know about this, they could really make use of alumni support's services!

ASC was able to get me qualied for a $61 monthly payment from a $189 payment! Also everyone Ive spoken to is so nice. Thanks guys!

I have been dealing with my Loans for years and until I found a company that was willing to just be honest with me I thought I would never be relieved from this debt. I called Alumni Support Center completely skeptical, Thinking this is a total scam! James answered the phone very confident and sure that everything was going to work out for me. James walked me through the Forgiveness Program and explained how the program worked. I have been struggling with these loans for over 10 years now. Now my loans have been consolidated and entered into the Forgiveness Program. I received the COMPLETION LETTER that James stated I was going to receive in my interview process. If I had to do this process by myself I would have never been able to do it on my own. Navient wanted me to re-certify yearly on my own and look what happens 10 years later I owe the same amount and have been making payments on all 10 years. DONT TRUST NAVIENT.

I didn't know there is a student loan forgiveness plan until they told me about it. wow! now I got debt lifted on my name.

Have to give these people credit! Tonight Jeff helped me BIG time. They really do go above and beyond to help you with student loan debit.

This company should deserve the best rating beyond what I can provide. In October 2018, Alumni helped me with my student loans going above and beyond by making sure I was being taken care of. Every time I would call in and have questions or concerns, they got back to me immediately. When I first spoke with Melissa, she educated me about the process and understood my situation. Prior to speaking with Alumni, I had 10 loans with Navient and 3 with Nelnet. I had these loans for many years. I was never provided with accurate information about my loans from the representatives from Nelnet and Navient. I hit default on my loans with Nelnet and was on my way to be in the same path with Navient. Now, I have all my loans with a new servicer and my payments are affordable.

It took about 2 months for me to get out of default. My credit is still recovering from all the damage because of my student loans. I am so thankful for getting in contact with Alumni Support Center and I just want to express my gratitude towards everything they have done for me and continue to do.

At first, I was skeptical about letting Alumni Support Center to help me. I did my research on the company and knew this had to be done. I do not regret one bit of it. I have referred friends and family.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Alumni support center got my loan payments down to only $39 a month, thank you so much!

No company is perfect including Alumni Support, however I have found Alumni Support to be better run and set up to support students in repayment versus other companies out there. While processing my consolidation loan, I had called many times over with questions and concerns, and every time I was met with kindness and understanding. I always hung up feeling heard, receiving the information I needed.
Overall, I would say they are the best of the student loan repayment servicers out there, and are always ready to help when you need them. And yes, there can be a few bad apples in any business but everyone I have talked to at Alumni Support has gone above and beyond every time! Shout out to my personal processor JAMES BORRAS I was so skeptical of all this until he stepped in and I haven’t looked back since.

Alumni support center was so much help to me. I wasnt expecting them to be able to do so much! they where able to get my loans out of default and stopped them from taking over $400 a month. Thank you so much!

These guys are great, I was unsure at first but I really needed help with my high loan payments so I thought I'd just give them a call. They walked me thru everything, explained my best option and what I qualified for. The girls from their client care department are so nice they called and updated me every step of the way. I just received my approval letter from the US Department of Education and just had to leave a review. I couldn't be happier!!!

Truly thankful for everything that the company has done for me!
After speaking to J T, he helped me bring my loans out of default and placed into a new payment plan for my loans to be forgiven later on! Although I was very skeptical at first being that this was a phone call that I had received out of nowhere, the commitment and results of the company speaks for itself. My agent J helped me overcome my skepticism by encouraging me to do my own research and making sure I knew exactly what was going on with my loans and the lender before we moved forward. After being provided with websites and links, I also researched on my own in order to get to the bottom of things. I'm so thankful that I took the leap of faith with ASC, they've gotten me out of the predicament that I've been stuck with for YEARS after only a few months, whereas when I asked for help from the collection agency and lender, they wouldn't let me do anything. I want to really thank J, if anyone wants help, I definitely recommend speaking to him. He does an amazing job with customer service and always shows up for what he promises! The best thing (next to amazing service) about the company is that they provide an assurance program AND a guarantee so I wouldn't have to worry about "What's next?" after getting my loan situation fixed, there's no better feeling than having such a dedicated team handle and keep me updated with all of my student loan needs.

THANK YOU AGAIN ASC! :) -N. N.

Transparency, punctual, and informative are words that I can use to describe Alumni Support Center. They make sure to give you the necessary documents in order to get your loans in a better situation as well as encourage you to do your own personal research. My representative Jeff made me read something called the "compliance" when he signed me up in order to assure that I fully understood the program, just in case I misunderstood it from just hearing it from him. I loved that not only did he explain everything beautifully, but he provided excellent black and white statements as to everything that I wanted and needed to know. A company that has such honest and reliable, people and results is a company I want to work with! Thanks guys

I Got call from them that im qualified for student forgivness where as all know they payments goes to alumni and not payments toward student loans, and they sent my loan to consolidation but I found out they add the the loan principle too,so its like 4 payments of 148$ and 39$ monthly payments but those to keep the account open not toward the student loan and yet I dicovered they add to the loan principle as if they had defualt on it where talking to fedloans they told me they dont know fms financial mangement services they know jasmine debt collection where there is no time gap to have jasmine debt collection on my loan but alumni support center manger called jasmine, and fedloans told me they had to pay those inorder to get my loans,
so yes alumni support center do nothing the papers each one submitted to alumni can submit them directly without using them and there is no need to monthly payments becuase they actually do nothing and once they say you pay zero dollar ,guess what you still pay zero dollar without them.
my problem is alumni support center and fedloans both added to my loan principle and once they talk they actually not friendly, its like last year I paid 30k while my salary was 60k with fms on my loan and yet fedloans worker yelled at me my loan was in horrible state its like seriously!! I paid 30k half of my salary(garnishments fees and lawyers and fee services etc very aggrissve and offset) .so yes I hated them when they talk as robot without professional attitude,so yes my loan was super clean not missy and yes one should find how much fedloans and alumni add to the loan principle beside pay attention.so I shocked when they told me the increase of the balance becuase fedloans had to buy me out of default from jazmine debt collection(which doesnst exist but alumni manger called jazmine)

Hi Sana, thank you for your feedback. We tried many times to educate you that we are not the ones that have the ability to alter your loan amount. We even directed you to the right place (Department of Education) if you find that your loan amount is wrong. We have no power to alter your loan amount, whatsoever. This information is pulled directly through the Federal Student Aid (national database), which you have access to view all your loan information as well.

Just to clarify, Alumni Support Center is just a document prep/enrollment center. We are not a loan servicer and the money that you are paying us does not go towards your loans.
The money you are paying us is a service fee to get all the document/application processed for you to transition you into the Forgiveness program, by the Department of Education. This was all explained to you during the compliance call and agreement.

Your loans were in default. There is 2 ways to get out of default and away from the collection agency.

1. Rehabilitation Program: You must make nine payments during a period of 10 consecutive months, your payments will be determine by 15 percent of your annual discretionary income divided by 12 (most low income american qualify for $5/m). Once you complete the program, your loans will transfer out of the collection agency and will be handled by a Student Loan Servicer (myfedloan, navient, mygreat lakes, nelnet, etc). Any collection fees and interest of course will be included in your loans. After your defaulted loan has removed from the collection agency, your loans will be eligible for benefits such as deferment, forbearance and loan forgiveness.
2. Loan Consolidation: Loan consolidation allows you to pay off one or more federal student loans with a new consolidation loan, this process usually takes around 60-90 days. Your loans will transfer out of the collection agency and will be handled by a Student Loan Servicer (myfedloan, navient, mygreat lakes, nelnet, etc). Any collection fees and interest of course will be included in your loans. After your defaulted loan has been consolidated, your new loans will be eligible for benefits such as deferment, forbearance and loan forgiveness.

Your loans were with the Debt Management Collection, (FMS) where we sent in your consolidation paperwork to pull you out of default. Fedloan Servicing was the ones that took your loans away from the Debt Management. Your main concern was the loan amount that you had and the horrible experience you had with FedLoan Servicing. Neither of this was altered by us. All we did was the paperwork. In sum, whether your loans are with FMS or FedLoan Servicing, they are still both the Department of Education.
Due to your dissatisfaction, we tried numerous times to assess the situation and educate you on student loans. We tried many times to get you to understand the situation, but you did not give us the opportunity to walk you through it and would just hang up on us. Every time you called in, we never yelled or fought back. Every time you called in, we listened to all your concerns and as we were trying to help by resolving the situation, you do not give us the opportunity, which makes the situation so much more difficult. We always talked to you calmly and respectfully because we really care about our reputation and the type of service we provide to all our clients.

At the end, we still pulled your loans out of default, brought your loans back to current status, and even approved for the federal repayment program. We sent you all proof of work and will continue to provide any proof you need. We even refunded you both payments that you made to us, knowingly we completed all the work for you. If you would like us to help you with this situation and about FedLoan Servicing, feel free to call us at anytime.

1- I did finish all my rehab payments to get out of default.
2-My student loan principle was 71k and fedloan consolidated to 80k.
3-I asked why it went up instead of down ,they replied jasmine from Alumni support center had them to pay for getting my student loan off default.
4-Alumni support center they never worked with FMS becuase department of education took all their students loans on april 2019.and till now try call fms about any student loan they would give you "departement of education took all their student loans since april" and yes I worked with alumni on 5/2019
lastly I never gave my consent for alumni center to consolidate my loans.
and for all student loans I tell you its very direct to apply by your self to student loan forgivness and you dont have to pay any fees.
Certify ,which alumni center apply for each of you is submiting your doc once year where why the monthly fees.and yes fedloans would know if you got more income through IRS taxes .
so yes as long as you in low income department of education would accept zero payment and so fedloans where both say alumni support center service is un needed.save your money its scam.I want to un consolidate my loan becuase my loan principle was 71k and fedloan consolidated to 80k.
which make the difference 9k ,I got ripped off

Alumni Support Center Response • Aug 02, 2019

1. Sana, when you called in to ask for help, your loans were currently still with the collection agency. If your loans were out of default, they would not be with the collection agency (FMS). That is the only way your loans got transfer to a student loan servicer. Even MyFedLoan told you they had to pay off the collection agency. If you properly finished the rehab program, then before April 2019, your record of default on the rehabilitated loan will be removed from your credit history.

2.Yes, your loan principle might have been $71K during the time you check, but remember all interest still accrues on your loans every single day, since the first day your loans come out of origination. Also, when your loans are defaulted, they have fees on your account -- the breakdown of all the principle, interest, and fees are on your U.S DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION DEBT COLLECTION BILL.

3. We are not sure of the statement made by MyFedLoan.

4. As you stated, we never worked with FMS because your loans were never with them at the time we did work on your file. Your loans were with the Department of Education, DEBT MANAGEMENT COLLECTION AGENCY. Even you stated that “since April” your loans were never with FMS. We never worked with you until May 2019, and since May when we pulled up your loans, it is with the DEBT MANAGEMENT AND COLLECTIONS SYSTEM. Where we sent out the consolidation application and MyFedLoan had to pay off the Debt Management and Collections System to take the loans and bring your status back to current on your loans.

We did not rip you off because we do not alter your loan amount, we only do the document preparation for you. Like you said yourself, you can do all of this free of charge. By working with a company like us, we are educated and knowledgeable about the repayment plans that are out there. You had even emailed us back directly with your information, asking for us to help you out with the defaulted loans. You did not want the garnishment of taxes and wages to happen. That is why we did the work for you and pulled you out of default.

Yes your loan balance could have been $71K at the time you last looked on your loans. But interest and fees are always accruing on your loans if you are not taking action with repaying them. That is why when your loan consolidation went through, all the fees and interest that accumulates on your loans got put on top with your loan balance.
