This is in response to your inquiry on your file number [redacted] and the complainant [redacted] Mr [redacted] is a 3rd party claimant who is disputing whether an insurance carrier needs to pay for the insurance on a rental vehicle Be advised that Mr [redacted] rented a vehicle due to an auto accident Mr [redacted] has insurance through [redacted] Insurance Company and the rental vehicle would have had coverage through his insurance carrier Therefore coverage paid for on the rental bill was not a reasonable expense to be incurredSincerely yours,American Access Casualty Company [redacted] Claims Manager

At this time, we have conflicting facts regarding this accident Our insured contends he did not strike the rear of the other party's vehicle There was no police report filed to assist with our investigation The claimant provided our claim representative with the name of a witness but to date, she has been able to get in touch with the witness We will need a recorded statement from the witness in order to continue our investigation regarding the facts surrounding this occurrence

We spoke to the claimant on May 30, and advised him liability had been accepted We set up an appointment for him to bring his vehicle in for an estimate Once the estimate has been received and reviewed, we will reach out to the claimant to conclude his property damage claim IN the meantime if he has any questions, he can contact his claims adjuster, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] they took over a month to actually solve the issue explained in my original complaint Sincerely, [redacted]

We are sorry you don't agree, but we have procedures in place we must follow, and we cannot authorize a payment off of our insured's policy without their cooperation It is a condition of their policy contract

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have been calling the new number that you sent with the adjuster***, he was the first to leave me a voicemail and decided to go on vacationApparently he is still on vacationI am tired of this cat and mouse gameI just want some help! I pay for insurance and held up my part of the deal, Can I get the same from American access Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Ms [redacted] did not speak with me, she just left a message on my answering machineFurthermore, due to the fact that the accident happened in a federal parking lot, the police do not come anymoreSo what I end up doing was file a VA police report insteadI can provide a copy if they request it Sincerely, Grace [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I did everything I was supposed to do the agency still has yet to call me, I have been doing all the calling and contacting, they sent inspectors out almost weeks after the car had been sittingThey were informed where the vehicle was the day after the accidentThis company is using tactics to prolong the process.the company did not start moving until last weekThe only way I found that information out was because I called againI have no fault for the car sitting in storage that should have been handledAs far as settling, they are offering lower than what the vehicle is worthThey did not include taxes that would be lost to have to pay for another vehicleOf this company offered 10,for the settlement for property damage I would have acceptedI am not in the low balling businessAs far as my wages lost I have sent that information in the adujuster went off on me about sending to her email, asking how did I get her email information, when she emailed me a from the emailThis company is causing me financial stress and loss Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for providing the American Access claim number Our appraisal supervisor spoke to Mr [redacted] today and explained that we have adjusted the estimate to include the correct mirror We also explained our supplemental procedures and if the shop finds any additional damage once repairs begin, they will contact us and we will address it at that time A check for the additional amount of $was issued to Mr [redacted] today, and it should be received within 3-business days Rental is handled on a reimbursement basis Once the paid rental receipt has been submitted, we will review it accordinglyThank you

The complainant's vehicle has been deemed a total loss A total loss settlement offer has been extended to the claimant but she did not accept as she does not agree with the deduction for storage expenses As the vehicle owner, it is her responsibility to mitigate her own damages We do not owe for storage charges that have incurred on her vehicle A written total loss settlement offer has been sent to the claimant Regarding her injury claim, the claims representative is in the process of obtaining the claimant medical bills, medical records and proof of wage loss Once all have been received and reviewed, a bodily injury settlement offer will be extended to the claimant No payment will be issued until both parities agree to a settlement figure and the claimant signs a release She has been advised in writing of the statute of limitations

Revdex.com, this is in response to your inquiry on your file number [redacted] and the complainant [redacted] Be advised that Ms [redacted] has filed a complaint with the Department of Insurance who is the proper govening body, please refer her to them for our position in this matter.Sincerely yours,American Access Casualty Company

Our investigation reveals this was a four-vehicle accident Our insured is liable for the property damage sustained to all three claimant vehicles Our property damage coverage limit is $10, Before any property damage settlement offers could be extended, we needed to confirm we would have adequate coverage for all parties We are currently waiting for signed releases from all three claimants Once received, we will honor all property damage claims

When we received the claimant's total loss paperwork on April 24, 2017, we were unsure as to whether or not he wanted to retain the vehicle or turn it over to us Our claims department called the claimant that day to clarify, but had to leave a voicemail It was not until we spoke to him on May 16, that we confirmed the claimant wants to retain the vehicle Payment per the agreed upon amount of $4,has been issued to the claimant as of today We have confirmed his mailing address as well We explained to him he should receive payment within 3-business days He understood Please consider this matter concluded Please let me know if you need any additional information
