Review: Review: I have also purchased tickets for the Wildfire Weekend event they advertised taking place on the June 20-21, 2014 and spent $94.00 dollars in tickets and food. The event was canceled and refunds were to be processed within 180 days. This was almost 2 YEARS ago and still no response or refund. I have sent numerous emails and telephone calls with no reply or returned phone calls.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund of the full amount plus 18% compounded interest annually for the 2 years that I have had to pay for the credit card balance. The total I am looking to receive is $133.67 to make me whole from this very frustrating ordeal.

Review: This company has simply ignored my calls. That is what has been the most frustrating. I do realize they cx the event in [redacted] 2014. However when we were told to call them a find out about the refund they said it would be handled promptly. I gave alot of time before following up after it was cx right before the event in May 2014. I called back on 9/15/14, 12/17/14,12/18/14 spoke with [redacted],2/4/15 spoke with [redacted] @ 9:46 am, 3/25/15 spoke with [redacted] at 2:50 pm, 5/8/15 spoke with [redacted] the Supervisor @9:48am, 5/15/15 spoke with [redacted] at 11:17am and she said she will leave a note for [redacted], I did not get a call back. 7/24/15 spoke with [redacted] at 11:50 am, 11/13/15 @ 1:10pm, left message with [redacted] 12/23/15 @1:16pm, Left Message for [redacted] 2/15/16 @1:41 am, Also 4/11/16 @ 12:49pm. The most frustrating issue is the lack of communication and ability to just provide an honest update from the beginning. If anything this company needs to learn from this issue to be upfront and communicate the "actual Reality" I purchased tickets totaling $370.00.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Repayment and also an honest response and returned calls

Review: Paid for a Wildfire Conference in early 2014 for an event that was to be held at [redacted] in [redacted]. The conference date was changed after purchase to another date, being June 13-14,2014. Just a few days before the conference, it was cancelled. I have called several times to a number I found on the internet and was also given by the arena where the conference was to take place. This number (###-###-####) is connected to American Association of Christian Counselors, but have some part in the Wildfire Conference events. I have made at least 4 phone calls about this matter over the last 15 months and just keep getting told that the refunds are going out slowly. At this point, I doubt any are being issued. The two latest phone calls I made were on August 5 and September 3. On August 5 , I was given the emails of a supervisor and someone from accounting. I sent an email to both addresses, and no one responded. The phone call on Sept 3 confirmed my email, address, and price I paid for the 2 tickets ($156). I was told that neither of the people I had emailed was available to talk and didn't know why they had not responded. I also found the article that announced the cancellation ([redacted]) on June 9,2014. It said the company would issue refunds within 180 days. It has now been around 450 days and haven't received the refund.Desired Settlement: Ticket price is fully refunded for the event that was cancelled

Business

Review: The event "wildfire weekend for men" was cancelled back in June. I received an email from aacc stating that refunds would be given within 180 days. I have called numerous times to which I'd get a reply saying that I would be moved to the top of the list and a check should be sent out that day. This was about two months ago. The last three times I've called I have been on hold for atleast 15 min and when someone would pick the phone up, I would immediately be hung up on. I have sent several emails to which I have got no reply. This is ridiculous.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back from the event that I paid for over six months ago.

Review: I purchased tickets on May 28, 2014 for the Wildfire Weekend in [redacted] that was supposed to take place June 13-14, 2014. The event was cancelled less than a week before the event was supposed to take place which resulted in a non-refundable payment on a hotel room for the night of June 13th and I have still not recieved my money back for the tickets. When the order was placed I used my credit card to pay and now have been paying interest on tickets that I didn't even get to use! This was a Father's Day gift for my husband and a friend and they were very disappointed when it was canceled at the last minute!Desired Settlement: I would like $100.00 refund for compensation of the tickets purchased, interest paid for useless tickets and partial compensation for non refundable hotel room since the even was cancelled last minute.

Review: Purchased a ticket in the amount of $97.50 on 4/21/2014 for a mens conference that was scheduled for 6/20/2014. The event was later cancelled. I was notified that refunds were to be distributed. To this date (6/29/2015) I have yet to receive my refund. I have called at least six times and each time I was told my check would be going out within the next week.Desired Settlement: I just want my $97.50 refund.

Review: My brother [redacted] purchased two tickets to the WildFire weekend that was to be held on 6/20/2014 at the USF Sun Dome. The event was cancelled due to low registrations and we were told we would be getting a refund. I have tried to be patient and I have given them ample opportunities to provide the refund but we are now at almost 14 months since the event and my brother is out $131.00. That is two tickets at $65.50 each. I feel bad because he bought the tickets to take me to the event. I have been told multiple times that we are next on the list to get a refund but it just isn't happening. I do not have the dates of all the times I have called but it has been at least 4-5 times. This is horrible business practice.Desired Settlement: A refund be given to [redacted] for $131.00 for order number [redacted].

Review: I purchased a ticket to the local Wildfire Weekend on 5/5/2014 in [redacted] The purchase was for $77.50, the event was cancelled shortly after. I called and was told I would receive a refund. I called numerous times after checking on the status and was told my refund was in process, there were several and I had to be patient. I was told it would be refunded by October. As of today 2/26/15 I still have not received a refund for the even that was cancelled. Several of my family and friends are also having the same issue and one was told to file a complaint with the Revdex.com in order for anything to be resolved. I have the print out (bank statement showing Wildfire Events as the charge) from the purchase and will submit for proof if needed.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund for the full price I paid of $77.50.

Review: I purchased tickets to Wildfire Weekend in [redacted]. The event was cancelled and I received an email stating that I would receive a refund. I have called called 8 times since June 2014. In the beginning, they claimed that there was a list of checks to be mailed out and my name hasn't came up yet. Later, they told me that I would receive my check within 14 days. On December 10th @ 2:05 EST, I spoke to the direct supervisor [redacted] and he said he would have his accounting department send out my check tomorrow. Review: On June 6 2014 my wife and I ordered 2 tickets to the Wildfire Weekend event to be held in [redacted] on June 13 2014. On June 9 2014 we received an email notifying us that the event had been cancelled and that refunds would be issued over the next 180 days. After the 180 days had passed we called to inquire about our refund. We were told that it would be going out to us within the next 2 weeks. After 6 weeks had passed we called again and were again told it would be 2 more weeks and we should have our refund. This same answer has now been given 4 times and we have yet to receive the refund. I was told by 2 different representatives that [redacted] could resolve this matter. I have left him voice mails, and sent emails, with no response. This organization passes itself off as a "Christian" organization, but their business practices are far from it.Desired Settlement: a refund in the amount of $100 to cover the price of tickets plus compensation for time spent trying to get this matter resolved.

Regards,

Review: In March of this year I attended a eWomens Conference in [redacted] at which time I purchased two tickets to a men's conference which was suppose to be in April and was changed with out them notifying us to June for my husband [redacted] and my son [redacted] to attend. We were never notified by this organization that the conference had been canceled but did find out through a friend that it had. My husband started calling the number to this organization from the email confirmation they sent at time tickets were purchased and was told that yes the conference had been canceled but they did not have our address to send a refund for the tickets (note-they did send email confirmation so why could they not try and reach us by that?) After a few weeks and no refund my husband called again only to be told that several large investors had pulled out and they did not have the money to refund for tickets. After more calls we have been told it has been sent to accounting to be processed. Still no refund months later and now being told they have no record of our purchase but when called again was once again told we were on the list to be sent a refund. We have called repeatedly asking to speak with management or to have them return our call only to be told they don't know who that is. All we are asking is for full reimbursement of two tickets (although we should be asking for interest also) since it's taking so long.Desired Settlement: Since we have been given nothing but a run-around from this organization we should request receipt within 2-3 days but realize that since it is around the holidays and no-one is probably working we would like to receive full payment and a call from the head person in charge within 2 weeks.

Review: Wild fire weekend got cancelled well over a year ago and they still have not refunded my money, they owe me 203.00 I have called numerous times, they billed my visa card twice once for 131.00 and once for 72.00 every time I call which has been at least 5 times they assure me that they are working on refunding everyone. The last time I called and told them that I was going to report it to the Revdex.com they hung up on me, which was today, 8-10-15. I decided it was time to do something about it.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded. $203.00 is what they owe me.

Review: In May of 2014 I purchased tickets online to the WildFire event in [redacted] for June 20-12. On June 9, 2014 I received an email stating the event was cancelled and I should be receiving a refund within 180 days. Since the cancellation of the event, I have tried on numerous occasions to contact the company to request my refund of $384.00, which to date I still have not received. Over the past year, the representatives kept telling me they are still issuing refunds and will try to expedite my refund. On the last phone call they advised me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I tried to do this, however it was denied by the credit card company due to the fact that so much time had lapsed since the charge. On June 12, 2015 I emailed several email contacts I found for the company requesting a refund and did not receive anything but an automated return message. I am seeking a full refund for $ 384.00.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled event, in the amount of $384.00.

It has been almost a year and I am still waiting. I have called at least a dozen times only to be given the run around about why it's taking so long. I contacted my credit card company, but because it has been over 180 days, there is nothing more they can do about it.Desired Settlement: I would like my $94 back.

Regards,

Review: I initiated a refund on 6/17/13, well before the cancellation deadline for the AACC World Conference. I was informed to submit my request in writing and subsequently mailed a letter in July informing AACC I would like receive a refund for registration fees. I was never contacted through email, phone, or by letter despite requesting this in the initial letter I sent. I called AACC on 8/12/13 and was told AACC was having a hard time of mailing refund checks due to a large number of requests. I was forwarded to the accountants voicemail and she never returned my call. I mailed a follow up letter in September and I still did not receive any correspondence from AACC regarding my request. I called AACC again on 9/3/13 and was informed my refund check had not been issued. The customer service representative forwarded my request to a supervisor and then forwarded my call to a supervisor who was not present at the time. Eventually I gave up hope with ever obtaining a refund through AACC and initiated a dispute through [redacted] card on 10/17/13. I was provided with a temporary credit which is being reversed as of 12/15/13 because AACC never provided me with any written correspondence. I have tried multiple times to get a refund to no avail. I am now seeking the help of the Revdex.com because I do not know where else to turn. Thank you for your help in this matter. Sincerely, [redacted]Desired Settlement: Provide a full refund in the amount of $387.00 for cancellation of services. I would like the full amount of $387 instead of $287 (includes a cancellation fee) due to the extended amount of time I have had to wait to get my money back and also due to the stress associated with AACC noncompliance and poor customer service.

Business

Response:

There was indeed delay in getting our customer refunded for his event ticket in a timely manner - and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused him. When we received notice from [redacted] last month, we believed that by simply not disputing the Retrieval Request, our customer would receive his full refund (as is the practice of Visa/MasterCard) - And he did in fact receive this refund through [redacted] (as indicated by his letter to you). Unfortunately, we were unaware that [redacted] had offered him just a temporary credit to his account. To settle this matter, we are sending his refund check to the address on file today. Sincerely, [redacted]Accounting Manager AACC
