Regards,

Review: I purchased tickets to the Wildfire Event scheduled for Farther's Day weekend in [redacted] in March of 2014 of which I have credit card receipts along with an order confirmation. This event was postponed from April 2014 until June. In June only days before the event, I received cancellation notice which stated;"Refunds for your registration, meet and greet, and lunch purchases will automatically be issued according to the date of purchase over the next 180 days.".I have made several attempts at calling the number provided. ###-###-#### as well as sent several emails to [redacted]. For most of the calls I received the same statement that they are processing them. One call indicated that they had 180 days from cancellation but was withdrawn when the statement above was read to them. They indicated that Accounting would contact us later that day of which no call was ever received. On the emails, we received on the first attempt the standard generic response that was in the original cancellation but no responses since. On the most recent call, we were given the contact person supposedly in charge of this process. I have sent two requests for status and resolution, but have yet to receive a response.Desired Settlement: My desired settlement is the purchase price of the tickets, $131.00 which were purchased in good faith.

Business

Response:

The refund check of $131.00 was mailed out on Monday, October 20, 2014.

Review: I ordered tickets to one of AACC events on March 21,2014. The total of $101.00. The event was cancelled and refunds were to be given within 180 days of ticket purchase date. I called in September and was told a refund would be sent to my address shortly. Nothing came. I emailed them several times in August and December and still no response from them. I have tried calling but after being on hold for 10 min+ I give up. So it's been almost 10 months and they still haven refunded me.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund

Review: I purchase tickets to an event hosted by this company (Wildfire Weekend) and have yet to receive a refund after the event was cancelled. It has been been over 180 days. They sent a letter to all customers of the canceled event guaranteeing a money back return. This business has many irate customers that have not received refunds for events and have given them EVERY opportunity to respond and refund. This company is advertised as a Christian based company practicing immoral and unconstitutional business standards.Desired Settlement: I desire a full refund of purchase price as well as a formal apology.

Review: I paid $134 for my husband and son to attend the Wildfire Weekend in [redacted] that was to be held the weekend of June 20, 2014. My understanding is that this Wildfire Weekend is actually put on by the American Association of Christian Counselors out of Virginia. I paid the $134 with my Visa card. The event was canceled and we were promised a refund within 180 days, but no refund was ever processed. I have called them several times (the number they provided was ###-###-####) and I emailed multiple times to the email address given ([redacted]). Each time I called, I was told that she could see where I was owed a refund but could not tell me when it would be processed. I have not received a response to either of my emails. After checking online, I found a [redacted] group named [redacted] where several people noted that once they filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, they finally received their refund.

Review: I purchased 3 tickets for my husband and 2 son's for Fathers Day gift to the [redacted] Wildfire Weekend. The purchase was by credit card on May 20, 2014. The event was scheduled for June 20, 2014. I then heard on the radio that the event had been canceled, so I called to inquire about my refund. I was told that refunds would be issued in the order they were purchased. I have been waiting for my refund now for 6 months. I have called several times to inquire and just get excuse after excuse. A week ago I was told that they were going to notify accounting to send me a check and I would get an email when it was processed. I waited for over a week for the email which has yet to come. I then made another phone call and was told that they have had 3 events canceled and it was taking longer than anticipated! I am tired of waiting and getting excuse after excuse.

We had an experience before with an event getting canceled the night of the event, after we were already at the event. We had received the credit card refund by the time we got home that evening!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and interest on my money that they have had access to for 6 months. Including all the other peoples money that they have delayed in refunding to them. This to me should be considered fraud!! Looking over the other complaints, it looks as if they are not even refunding the full amounts of the purchase.

Regards,

Review: I have attempted dozens of times, both via email and phone (company refund email address is now invalid and is getting returned) to get a refund on purchased tickets for the Wildfire Weekend in [redacted]. I have called several times and was told "you are on the list". I have tried to get the company to return a call, or contact via email, with no results. My wife and I have waited the 180 day term they initially told us when the event was cancelled, still no communication or refund at all from the company. If needed, I have saved all the calls, and also the email communications for verification.Desired Settlement: Need refund for all purchases for the event. I have confirmed they have all my contact information, and also confirmed they have the amount owed. I would hope I can have my refund within 10 days.

Regards,

Review: Our church, [redacted], purchased 17 tickets on May 19, 2014 in the amount of $1290.00, paid with a debit card (which was drafted out of the church's account that same day) for the 2014 Men's Impact Weeekend: Wildfire to be held at the [redacted] in [redacted]. The event was cancelled on 06/09/14. According to Fox News, [redacted] and the [redacted] News, the "refunds will automatically be issued over the next 180 days". That would make the 180 days ending on 12/09/14. Nothing was refunded to our church by January 8, 2015. On this day I started calling AACC at ###-###-####. Every Monday since I have called inquiring about our refund. I reminded them that the 180 days has pasted and when could I expect the refund. I was told they had no idea. When I asked why, I got excuses from "they are behind on refunds", "we are working on it", "you do not appear in the current batch of refunds". When I asked if we would be receiving a refund, they ignored the question. I asked to speak to accounting and was told they do not accept calls. I asked to speak to anyone in charge and was told that I could be transfer to their voice mail. I have called every week for the past 13 weeks and get the same run-around. We had our attorney to send a letter to them on 03/23/15 and he gave them 10 days from the date of the letter to make the refund or he would take appropriate action. The first phone call I made to them asking about the refund, the person I was talking to said "since you have called and asked about the refund, I will let accounting know". To me that sound like there would have been no refund unless I had called about it. This is the Lord's money they are trying to keep. I am trying to be a good steward of what belongs to the Lord. Thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: The $1290.00 refund we are due no later than April 2, 2015, per our attorney.

Review: I paid for about 20 men of our church to go the Wildfire Men's conference in April 2014. They switched the conference to June and then cancelled it all together. The majority of these tickets were paid for in November of 2013. I have contacted the company several times by phone and they always say they will give my information to the accounting department and expedite my refund. I have also emailed the assistant of the company 3 times and he has not responded to any of my emails. I just want to be able to refund the men of the church their money that they paid for a conference that never took place Every time I ask for the money I get the same response that I should have my money soon, they have had our money for over a year, and that is too longDesired Settlement: Want the money owed to me refunded

Business

Response:

These refunds were issued by Wildfire in February of 2015.

Review: The AAC hosted an event in [redacted] but it was canceled. I was told I would receive a refund in 90 days but over a year later no refund has been issued. I call continuously and am told my check is coming. They give me email addresses for supervisors but no one ever returns my call or email. Review: I paid $198.50 to attend the Wildfire Weekend in [redacted] at the [redacted] that was to be held the weekend of June 20, 2014. My understanding is that this Wildfire Weekend is actually put on by the American Association of Christian Counselors out of Virginia. I paid the $198.50 with my Visa card and it shows a transaction date of 6/5/14, posted on 6/06/14. The event was canceled and we were promised a refund within 180 days (which to me was too long to begin with but since I thought that this was a Christian organization I went along with it but at the end of 180 days, still no refund. I have called them several times (the number they provided was ###-###-####) and I emailed a couple of times to the email address given which was [redacted] but to no avail. I called my credit card company who said that they actually only had 15 days to refund and since I had already waited the 180 days that the organization had promised me, my credit card company could no longer do anything to assist me either. After checking on line, I found a [redacted] site that was under the heading of Wildfire Weekend Owes Me Money and several people noted that once they filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, they finally received their refund.Desired Settlement: To receive my Refund in the amount of $198.50 from this American Association of Christian Counselors organization.

Review: On March 28, 2014 our church ([redacted]) ordered tickets to the scheduled Wildfire Weekend for Men that was supposed to be held in [redacted] June 13-14, 2014. The church paid $580.00 for these tickets at that time with a church credit card. I am the church secretary and I handled the payment of the credit card bill. When the event was cancelled, the AACC stated in their e-mail that the "refunds for your registration, meet and greet, and lunch purchases will automatically be issued according to the date of purchase over the next 180 days." I printed a copy of this email out on 6/10/2014. Today's date is 1/13/15. I have called their office 5 times and each time had been told something different as to why I had not received the promised refund. On my last call on 1/6/15, "[redacted]" said he would get the check out to us. I told him if we did not receive the check by 1/13/2015 I would contact the Revdex.com. We still have no check. Hence, this complaint. Please help us get our refund. Thanks for your helpDesired Settlement: We just want our refund, please.

Regards,

Review: I purchased tickets from them for the Wild Fire Weekend here in [redacted] April. We received an email at the beginning of June the event has been canceled. There has been no communication as to why the event has been canceled or as to why it is taking so long for them to issue refunds. I have called multiple times and the only response I get is the same response I get from every person. "We will expedite your request, may I please have your correct mailing address?" "We will forward your information to accounting and they will get a check out to you"

They owe me $82.50 for the ticket and boxed lunch. As a single mother on disability this is a huge hardship on me. I should not have to go to such lengths to get my money refunded to me, especially from a Christian organization!! I think their lack of communication has probably been the absolute worst part of this whole thing aside from holding my money.Desired Settlement: Full refund immediately

Review: I had purchased two tickets to the March 14th and 15th Wildfire Weekend event at the [redacted] which moved to the [redacted] convention center in June, then ended up being cancelled.

The email regarding the cancellation said

"Dear [redacted] Wildfire Attendee:

First and foremost, we want to thank you for your interest and support in our efforts to bring the Wildfire Men’s Weekend to [redacted] , Texas . Through many meetings and prayerful deliberation, our Wildfire Conference Team has decided to cancel the 2014 Wildfire Men’s Conference that was scheduled for the weekend of June 13 and 14 in [redacted] .

We will be issuing refunds for your registration and lunch purchases. Our accounting department is working on this at the moment. If you registered after January 1st please keep a close eye on your debit or credit statement for your refund. If you registered prior to January 1st check your mailbox for a letter from Wildfire containing a refund check. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our customer service department at [redacted] or at [redacted]."

Since I bought these tickets November 22, 2013 I expected to receive a refund check in the mail. Come May I still had not received a check, so I called. The woman said they were overloaded but she would relay the message that I had called. Three weeks later, I called back to check on it, and the man said that the check was set to be mailed and I should receive it in 10 days. Two weeks passed and still nothing so I called again, and they said it had been mailed and he would give my phone number to the people processing the refunds when they got back from lunch. This person was to call me back that day. I never heard anything. Today still not receiving any kind of notice, I called again. The man told me that I should have already received it and that he would pass the message on, because again they were at lunch, and they would call me back.Desired Settlement: I desire a full refund check for the cancelled event, which is $121.00.

Review: On March 21st, 2014 I ordered tickets for a Wildfire Weekend retreat in [redacted]. I paid $126 for a meet and greet. The event was rescheduled 2 days before the original date and then it was canceled a few days before that date. I was given a number to call for my refund and I was told it would take up to 180 days. The 180 days has come and gone and everytime I call the number to find out where my refund is I am told I am on a list but I can never speak to management or anything . All I get is the run around about why my money is not refunded even though I was told it would be.
