Review: I ordered tickets for [redacted] for my husband in [redacted] for March, 2014. The date was changed to June 2014. We were moving to another state and could not attend. I called starting in probably February when I realized our move. I have asked for a refund and continue to get the run around. It has been several months now and I have asked to speak to the supervisor and he is never in, I have left messages, he never calls back. I have also called several times directly into the accounting department that handles the refunds. Not ever received a phone call back, and certainly never got my refund.Desired Settlement: They need to honor this request by the end of this month (September, 2014). They said they were super busy, but this is too long.

Regards,

The AACC is a wonderful organization for those that want to continue to learn as counselors and coaches who are Christians. Their courses are jam packed with current information that is need to become an expert in the field. The AACC has gathered some of the finest experts from around the world to share their knowledge, and experience with students, and professionals needing CEUs for credentials. The AACC is professional, ethical, and Biblical! I highly recommend this organization!

Review: Pre-paid for 2 tickets ( 2x $90.50= $181.00) for the Wildfire Men's Conference Weekend event in [redacted] on June 13th & 14th, 2014. Event was cancelled and statement was issued stating that a refund would be given. As of today, April 13, 2015 I have not received a refund. AACC has been contacted several times inquiring of the refund to no avail. The credit card that was used has since expired so I have been repeatedly told that a check will be mailed to my address on file. I just expect better integrity from a Christian organization, this is a very disappointing representation.Desired Settlement: To receive my refund check as originally specified by the AACC

Review: I purchased 2 tickets to the Wildfire Weekend for Men event in [redacted], one on March 3, 2014 for $60.50 and the second one on March 31, 2014 for $70.50. The event was re-scheduled and I requested a refund. The event was subsequently canceled and I received an e-mail on June 9, 2014 that promised a refund within 180 days. I still have not received the refund, I called again today (January 6, 2015) and although the employees are always very friendly and compassionate they are not able to provide any details of when the refund will be sent.Desired Settlement: A refund check in the amount of $131

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I received the check yesterday (5-18-15) and plan to take it to the bank today. I am still disappointed in the way that the American Association of Christian Counselors has handled this situation. After filing my Revdex.com complaint, I received a message on January 30, 2015 stating that my case was closed because they did not respond. I am glad they have finally responded but I have friends (who did not file a Revdex.com complaint) who have still not received their refund.

Review: I bought 3 tickets for the Wildfire Men's Conference to be held here in [redacted] June of 2014. Ticket numbers: [redacted] for $85.50 per ticket for a total of $256.50 Which they cancelled conference due to lack of ticket sales. They told me via phone and email they had up to 180 days to refund me my money which was paid by debit card. I have called and email repeatedly and only answer I get is we haven't go to it yet. One guy apologized not knowing why it would take them so long. I am over this bunk. Wrong on so many levels. The hotel I booked for my husband and friends was credited back to my debit card immediately when I called. NEVER heard of they have up to 180 days t refund. I want my money and noted everywhere what this group is doing. I am a real Christian and we do not do business this way. April 21st will be 1 YEAR!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want my refund and I want it now. This is wrong on all levels.

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

It has now been OVER 1 YEAR from event date. It took reporting it to you the Revdex.com to get my refund. This is unacceptable. I received a email yesterday 29th, stating only this. Hello [redacted], This email is to confirm your Wildfire refund check in the amount of $256.50 has been sent out in today’s mail to : Sincerely , [redacted]

REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A year worth of emails, phone calls to hear we have 180 days to refund your money. This is the best you can say? Reaping and sowing is not just for Individuals, it is for Corporate as well. All of this junk because I wanted to treat my husband and 2 friends to a weekend of encouragement in the word. And this is the business ethics of this company? Unreal.

Review: I registered for the 2014 Men's Impact Weekend wildfire conference scheduled for April 25-26, 2014. That conference was changed to June13, 2014 and then cancelled due to lack of participation. I called the company for reimbursement, and was told that all reimbursements were being handled in the order of the registration date. It is now December 10, 2015 almost two years later and I have not had my $242.00 reimbursement check delivered. I called the company again this morning, but was transferred to the accounting office and directly to voicemail. Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated.Desired Settlement: Request a check for $242.00

Review: I purchased a ticket for the Wildfire Weekend (to be held in [redacted]). The purchase was made on January 3, 2014. The event was postponed and ultimately cancelled. Refunds were to be issued within 180 days from date of purchase. Over a year after purchase, a refund has yet to be issued. I called the company several months ago and was told they would process my refund in a week or two.Desired Settlement: I request a refund check to be mailed to me immediately.

Review: On July 17, 2013, I bought 3 tickets for an upcoming Wildfire Event in [redacted] that was cancelled, ($157.00).

Here it is July 24, 2015 and I STILL have not received my refund. This is ridiculous! They said the refunds would go out in the order that tickets were purchased. Well I bought them VERY early.Desired Settlement: Please push their hand in sending me just the refund I am owed.

Regards,

Review: I purchased tickets to the Wildfire Weekend in [redacted] 2014 as a father's day gift for my husband and father-in-law. I was disappointed to find out that the event had been cancelled. I was even more upset that the website said that it could take up to 180 days foe me to receive my refund of over $160. 6 months?! I have called AACC multiple times over the past 6 months. Every secretary who I have spoken with can give me no information other than "We're working on it as fast as we can." They also have all stated that no one else is taking calls about the matter and that management refuses to take calls regarding the issue of refunds for this event. It has now been six months, and I still have no refund. I'm outraged! This is a "Christian" organization that clearly is up to some suspicious activities. The fact that they are taking this long to refund is bad enough, but then management is too cowardly to even speak to a customer with a complaint and throw the secretary under the bus to deal with all of the angry customers is mind blowing to me. I want answers, and I want a refund. I will never ever associate with this association ever again!Desired Settlement: I only want my refund and for all others to receive their refunds as well. An apology and admitting of wrongdoing would be good too.

Regards,

I bought tickets to the Wildfire Weekend in Tampa for my husband & son as a Father's Day gift. The event was cancelled and I have still not received my refund. It has been almost a year since I purchased the tickets. I've called several times and they continue to tell me that I'm on top of the list to receive a refund but still nothing has happened.

Review: I purchased three tickets on April 7th for a father's day event in June called Wildfire Weekend. It was cancelled less than a month before the event and I was sent an email that a refund would be issued within 180 days. I thought for sure that was just an over estimate. However, at the end of October when no refund came yet, my parents started to call the hotline and told a refund would be issued soon. Finally, in mid November, my mom was told the check would be sent the first week in December. My dad called the second week of December and told check was issued and in the mail. My dad called again today, 12/29/14 and told my name is back on a list for getting a check ASAP.Desired Settlement: My preference would be for the refund to be sent back to my debit card which goes direct to my checking account. That was how I paid them almost nine months ago when they immediately received my money for an event I expected to be taking my dad for both his birthday and father's day in June. However, if they must send a check, I would expect it sent priority mail.

Review: I sent this company $484.50 for the Wildfire Weekend conference. This company canceled, I've called several times about my refund. Some say my money is on its way, others say it hasn't even been processed. I just want what is due to me. They seem to refuse to understand that!! It has been 6 months!!Desired Settlement: My refund of $484.50 sent asap!!!

Review: I PURCHASED A TICKET FOR "GREENVILLE 2014 WILDFIRE WEEKEND FOR MEN" ON 3/28/2014. PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED DATE FOR 4/25/2014 AND 4/26/2014, THE EVENT WAS CANCELLED. I RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT THE REGISTRATION FEE OF $65.50 WOULD BE REFUNDED. OVER THE PAST 16 MONTHS, I HAVE CONTACTED THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELORS SEVERAL TIMES TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE REFUND. EACH TIME THE REPRESENTATIVE HAS TAKEN MY NAME AND ADDRESS AND STATES THAT THE INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO "THAT DEPARTMENT". IT IS EXTREMELY POOR CUNSTOMER SERVICE, ESPECIALLY FOR A CHRISTIAN COMPANY, TO HOLD THE CONSUMER'S MONEY FOR 16 MONTHS WITHOUT ANY REMORSE.Desired Settlement: RECEIPT OF REFUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $65.50.
