Review: On Feb 28, 2014 I purchased three tickets for a total of $221.50 for the Wildfire Weekend event in [redacted] which was scheduled for april 25, 2014 then rescheduled for june 13, 2014. The event was canceled and I have called the association over 6 times to ask about when I will receive my refund and I always get the run around with excuses that they are just behind in processing the refunds. I have left several messages with a "supervisor" to which I have never received a returned call. I feel ten months is excessive to wait for a refund and request mine immediately.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund of $221.50 sent immediately.

I bought tickets to the Wildfire Weekend in Tampa for myself & son. The event was cancelled and I still have not received my refund. It has been well over a year since I purchased the tickets. I've called several times and they continue to tell me that I'm on top of the list to receive a refund but still nothing has happened.

Review: I purchased two tickets and two lunch vouchers (totaling $92) for the Men's Wildfire Weekend event that was scheduled to be held in [redacted] on June 13-14, 2014. The event was cancelled and refunds were promised within six months. The six months refund period ended in December and I still have not received a refund. I contacted the customer service number about the refund and was told my name was on a list to be issued a refund, but they had no idea how long it would be before the refund would be issued.Desired Settlement: Refund the $92 I paid for the Wild Fire Weekend Event (Parent company is AACC).

Regards,

Review: I purchased a ticket on 6/22/13 in the amount of $69 for my husband to attend the Wildfire Men's Weekend in Greenville, SC. When the event was cancelled in June, the AACC's email stated that refunds would "automatically be issued according to the date of purchase over the next 180 days."

I began calling them on 10/9 for a refund status and sent a follow-up email with an copy of my check for proof of purchase. I called again on 10/22 and on 11/10 when I was told that I would receive my refund "within 5-7 days." I called back on 11/25 and was told that it had not yet been mailed. On 12/2, I was told that I was at the top of the list and my refund would go out that week. Today (12/8), I was told the exact same thing.

I've left messages for the accounting department and [redacted], the supervisor - my calls have yet to be returned. It has been over 180 days since the event cancellation and almost a YEAR AND A HALF since my purchase.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund to either be mailed ASAP!!!!!

Review: In March we purchased tickets to an event that was to take place in on the 20th of June in [redacted] sponsored by the American Association of Christian Counselors. The month before the event, we received an email stating the event was cancelled due to lack of participation. The email stated that our money would be refunded, but that it could take 180 days. As of today, November 6th, 2014, we have not received our money. We have sent several emails and called numerous times, but the company simply refuses to give us our money back or even give us a time as to when it would be given back.Desired Settlement: We believe that we have been overly patient and understanding; however, we are starting to think the company has no desire to return our funds. The cost was $168.00 and that is what we would like back.

Response:

A check in the amount of $168 is being mailed to [redacted] today -- AACC

Review: On March 18, 2014, I purchased 2 tickets online in the amount of $131.00 with my debit card for the Wildfire Weekend Conference in [redacted] that was scheduled for April 28-26, 2014. The event was canceled. AACC told us we would get a full refund, hoepfully within 6 months. I have called AACC September 19, 2014 - October 14, 2014 - November 13, 2014 - January 5, 2015 and January 16, 2015. Each time, I am given the same information. They confirm the refund amount, that it is to refunded by a check in the mail, that they do not have a time line for the refund, and that there is no manager to speak with about this. It has now been 10 months, and I still have not gotten my refund.Desired Settlement: I would like for AACC to refund the full amount of $131.00 by check mailed to my home address, asap.

Review: I purchased tickets for a Christian men's conference on May 27, 2014 for the "Wildfire 2014" men's event in [redacted]. First the event was rescheduled, and then it was cancelled all together. I have been calling for months about my refund, and I'm always told something different. I have left several messages, and no one has returned my call. It has been six months, and I'm still waiting on a refund. This ticket was purchased as birthday present for my husband, and I'm very upset that I have not recieved my refund or had any one contact me from the company.Desired Settlement: Amount that I paid for the ticket (around $80). My purchase Order # is [redacted].

Review: In November of 2013 I purchased two tickets to the Men's Wildfire Weekend scheduled for June 2014. In April of 2014, the AACC cancelled the event. They sent an email promising a refund. Since then I have called many many times and each time have been told they are still processing refunds. To date, and I called this morning, they cannot tell me when I will get my $161 returned to me, but simply keeping making excuses that the process is taking longer than expected.Desired Settlement: I would simply like back the purchase price of my tickets. They were a Christmas present for my father. Since they cancelled the event but haven't returned the money he still hasn't received a Christmas gift from 2013.

Review: I purchased tickets to Wildfire Weekend in March 2014, the conference date was changed to June. At the last moment, the conference was cancelled. We were advised to have refunds in hand within 180 days. That would have been the end of 2014. I'm 3/4 way thru 2015 and still cannot get this company to refund my money. I have called, sent emails, sent correspondence, I suppose this is the last hope of recuperating the funds I spent.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: This has been a major headache, I have supported this company thru other events, needless to say, I have lost all confidence in the message they bring by not standing by their promises. I want my money back

Review: In June of 2013 I pre-registered and paid 196) to attend the Wildfire Men's conference (product of AACC) in [redacted]; scheduled for April 25-26 2014. The event was rescheduled for June 2014 and subsequently cancelled.

My order number is [redacted], phone number to call is ###-###-####

I have made at least eight telephone calls from May-October asking about the status of my refund check. The answer is normally the same; they will mail out the check within 2 weeks, they are checking with accounting, etc. I have talked to four different people when calling; [redacted], and [redacted]. They are all nice and professional but I have not seen any results.

It is a known problem that they are sand-bagging on sending the refunds out. There has even been a facebook (Wildfire Weekend Owes me Money) page created where 25 members share their stories and how often they are calling. Rarely is anyone getting their refund.Desired Settlement: They should refund immediately the money that has been held by them. They also should be held accountable for promising something and not delivering the desired outcome.
