This company is baiting and switching...offers on advertisement 2.625% fixed rate...when you call they say there is a higher fee for this and it is a totally different loan adjustable for five year rate only...No where on the documents which I scanned does it say adjustable or for five year payment...very fast talker *** *** at ***Flyer is directed at veterans

Don"t like giving people access to my bank account but they said they needed it to take out the down payment on the appraisalIt was supposed to be and in October they took out and then put back Thought it was done and then weeks later they hit my account for another 1200, put back days laterThey were not authorized to take out but dollars and I am so lucky with taking out dollars twice that I did not bounce checksAfter months and the last mess up of taking out and only putting back I am doneI hope they quickly get the dollars they have left to put back done so quicklyX-mas is just around the corner and I am not getting paid interest on the dollars they have of minePeople like this is why I don't like people having my account numberBusinesses all over give you a discount if you pay with automatic withdrawal but this is what happens when you doNext time I deal with a bank I will just send a checkThe other thing is they are trying to tell me they can't get an appraiser for less than dollarsI called around and found appraisers for to all over my state, even in the higher end areas it was only That still does not mean they take the whole fee out that is done at closing timeIt was a deposit on the appraisal not pay it allAt rates like that I will keep my house and if I sell it the buyer can pay the appraiserEither way I want my dollars back and they can keep the loan, I don't want to do business with crooks who just keep cleaning out my bank account

My experience with AFN was actually less than starWe just found out today after months dealing with Dennis F* that he could not get a mortgage commitmentIn the beginning of the process he verbally told my husband and I that he would not a problem getting us a mortgage evening knowing upfront some of the challenges we had to work throughHe was given the information that he requested but did not give us any updates as to what was going onWe called him many times, not answering or returning a callI also contacted him by email asking for specific information about the mortgage, also with no responseTo me, if you are in the business of providing a service to a customer, then the least you can do is respond to the customer not ignoring them!
Needless to say we are now dealing with a real professional

We received a pre approval offer in the mail about a cash out refinance on our home so we reached out to them to get the specifics We was assigned a loan officer and completed all necessary paperwork and was told over and over again we were good to go They made us pay $for an appraisal then all of a sudden our loan officer stopped calling us back so I reached out the her manager and was told that she had a family emergency and they had no idea when she was coming back The manager so called took over our file only to find out that they can not do our loan due to a late paymentHe told me that we should be good to go after our months had past and all payments were on time We are now at months and now all of a sudden it has to be months I believe they took our $and knew they could not refinance our house They knew about the late payment before we ordered an appraisalThis is bad bad bad business
