American Freight had repeatedly tried to get the correct cushion cover from the manufacturer, and was unable to get one that was acceptable to the customerWe invited the customer to come back into the store and select a different sectional, at no additional chargeThe customer has made her new selection, and the order has been placed with the manufacturerThis sectional will take 4-weeks to arrive from the manufacturer and will be delivered to the customer free of charge upon arrival

This customer came in and made a purchase for $1,and then started a layaway with $down$1,total paidShe decided to get a refund due to issues with delivery time and poor customer service by the manager Our Regional Manager personally refunded her card in the store on 2/all funds that she paidShe called days later saying that the store manager Duan used a skimmer on the AF credit card machine to steal her card number for his own personal use American Freight uses a credit card machineWe believe she must have used the card somewhere else or online and had her information compromisedAs I said I refunded all the funds that she paid to AF, beyond that we would not be responsible for anything else We suggest this customer call her credit card company Ian O'Keefe Regional Manager American Freight (740)833-

American Freight has the legal right to our policies and procedure...which WERE ALL TOLD TO CUSTOMER UPFRONT WHEN YOU WERE PAYING FOR YOUR MERCHANDISE INCLUDING THE DELIVERY FREE AND ASSEMBLY FEE...though we thank you for your opinion Our sales are final, this is stated on your receipt which we assume all customer do readAlso there is a sign above all our counters "ALL SALES ARE FINAL"Your boxes will not be picked up ....DELIVERY SUBCONTRACTOR INFO FOR CUSTOMER WHO HAS ISSUES WITH THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE: [redacted] Delivery Service LLC-- [redacted] American Freight believes we have conducted ourselves honestly and were up front with all!! I am rejecting this response because: I do not believe American Freight has exhibited good faith in this transaction This response was so delayed in coming that their offer is of no help to me (claim filed 2/15, and just getting a response within the last week or so after threatening this action with the Revdex.com) Their response might have been acceptable had it come within a reasonable time frame (by the end of March as we were originally told it would), however we were given the run around and our calls to follow up were dodged and ignored instead, leading us to go elsewhere Additionally Their response does not address the fact that I was fraudulently sold a mattress cover under the guise of them being the ones that would make good on the warranty at the store level (and it being required to make good on that warranty), or make mention of whether or not they are even providing credit for that cover As I already have a full house full of furniture I have no need for store credit, and they are welcome to come take back the mattress set and cover that are just sitting there taking up space until this whole mess is resolved Attached are copies of the original correspondence with the company from 2/15/trying to start the warranty process where we sent pictures Note: I seem to be unable to attach all of the pictures that were sent individually, and it appears that I can only attach files to this complaint response, however if needed I can also supply those photos If needed I can probably also pull up our old cell phone records to provide times and dates of the numerous calls that were made to try to follow up on this warranty, most of which resulted in a promise of the local store manager calling us back, which he never did until we began to threaten further action.Regards, [redacted] ***

In August we purchased a recliner for our year old son for his birthdayIn less than three months the chair fell apart to the point it was garbageWe had purchased a yr Warranty, but even if we had not, I was determined that they should replace the recliner since it didn't even last three monthsIt was cheaply made! So I contacted the store manager and she was very nice and agreed to put in the claim to get a new chairAnd on November 15, she e-mailed me and said we could come back and pick up the new chair/ reclinerShe said to donate the old chair as they did NOT want it backHowever, it was GARBAGE and we had to pay our trash man to haul it awayIt was useless So anyway, we picked up the new recliner sometime in the days after November 15th Today that "new" recliner fell apart! I immediately told my son to call the local American Freight and ask to speak to the manager (Katelyn P [redacted] Because after all, we purchased this chair for like $plus the $

I can offer $off for the miscommunication but the store charged correctly for the items that were selected

I visited this store on 9/23/2017, I purchased a bed set for my daughterIt was a pink set with diamondsI purchased the set and I selected to have self pick upWhen my truck arrived they stated that they had RESOLD my item because the worker did not remove the tag and the family the sold it to did not want to take it off of their truckI was told there was nothing they could do, I tried to call the police and the manager allowed the other family to leave with the setIt was the last set and there were no othersI screamed in horror and I begin to demand answersThe manager was nonchalant and unresponsiveI finally called the district rep [redacted] who allowed me to pick another bed setI left feeling frustrated, undervalued and discouraged that my money and purchase was not valuedMy daughter cried about the set and I feel just horrible as a parent because this company did this to our family

We very much apologize for the inconvenience!! Sometimes there are backorders from manufacturers that cannot be helped This customer has now received the chest and nightstand

We offered a $free upgrade on a reselection and the customer accepted and it has been delivered

Guarantee or Warranty Issues AND Customer Service Issues On 1/18/16, we purchased a sofa from American Freight The initial sofa we purchased was too big for our home It was brought back to the store and store credit was given We selected a new couch (Mickey Pweter pcsectional) It was delivered to our home on 1/19/ After days of having the couch in our home, we noticed a loose piece of material on the inside right arm It was making a popping sound every time it was touched I made a video documentation of the problem, contacted American Freight on Friday, 1/22/ There is a year Manufacture Warranty on the sofaWe were told to bring the couch back to the store for inspection On Saturday, 1/23/16, we delivered the couch back to American Freight in Burnsville, MN They were very uncooperative Store personnel were wondering why we brought the couch back They weren't going to let us unload the sofa to see the defect They didn't have a sofa in stock, so
