Thank God for American Veterans Aid! I don't believe I've had a better customer experience than the one I had with them. They provided excellent assistance and guidance along the way. Professionals who assisted me were skilled and knowledgeable. They made completion and submission of required paperwork less daunting. Telephone and emails were responded to quickly. My questions were patiently answered; even the ones I'd asked previously. My dad has begun receiving the financial help necessary for care in the comfort of his home.

Great service to use. I used this service for my mother back in 2014, with approval in a much quicker time-frame than I expected especially with payment from the government (try getting Social Security Disability and you will know what I mean). Timing was key since my mother died early 2015. Granted you do need to provide information, and there is a fee involved, but the expense was worth the lack of direction and time that I would have needed to provide trying to do this benefit from the government myself. The $'s my mother got did allow us to have assistance my mother needed and she also thought was well worth the effort, and gave us piece of mind.

I was totally happy with all the work you did. My checks started in May, that was much sooner than I expected. I certainly will recommend you to everyone. I just turned it over to you, and you got the job done in jig time. I really had to do nothing. The check comes rolling in on the first of the month.
Thank you so much.

This was a positve time saving and valuable service ti help my father a WW2veteran.

I began working with Americans Veterans Aid in August, 2015. My mother was 89 then and her health was failing. They were so helpful and supportive from the very beginning. They took care of all the paperwork to apply for the veterans benefit. The application for benefits was submitted to the VA on 9/28/2015. On 10/16/2015 I received a letter from the VA stating that the benefit would start on 11/1/2015. Of course they pay for the previous month so she received the first checked deposited to her account on 12/1/2015. I highly recommend Americans Veterans Aid to anyone. Our experience was wonderful.

I used American Veterans Aid to help me secure VA spousal benefits for my 88 year old mother, to assist us with expenses for home care. I started my process with AVA in June, and received approval from the VA in early September. The help with all the required forms was wonderful, the assistance to make sure everything was in order before filing with the Veteran's Administration made everything go very smoothly and resulted in a quick approval of OUR benefits. Every staff member at AVA was kind, patient, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone trying to go through the process of applying for VA benefits, money well spent.

I was very impressed by the competence and professionalism displayed by American Veterans Aid in getting the A&A benefit awarded to a close friend. They were there at all times to guide me through each of the complex steps to make sure everything was submitted with proper documentation and supporting information.

Bottom line? The award was approved and a deposit in the bank within 4 months! If you are trying to get this benefit approved you MUST work with AVA!

Used them 2 times 1st time they had us approved after only 2 months 2nd time the VA lost the paper work and veterans aid worked it out in about 6 months I'am very happy with there results and could have not done this on my own very difficult paperwork and process

I found the AVA to be very helpful in applying for VA benefits for my Mother. I would like to Ms. Amber L for her professionalism and timely efficient method in her assistance in filling out the forms and in a lot of cases the forms were partially filled out based on limited information provided to her. This tells me she used other sources to research the information she needed. Overall once the initial telephonic interview the momentum of went very fast. The most helpful item was the checklist of required documents needed to fill out the VA application. We worked very closely for One and one half months, I must admit it required a lot of work on my part the complete the checklist. Once the checklist was completed AVA was a tremendous help to complete the VA forms based on the checklist information. This is a benefit I did not know was available for my Mother could receive because she was a spouse of Veteran. The AVA application process through their service have trained personnel in the proper information to put in the application(s) and in turn I am speculating when the application is received by VA the application is perceived as complete and VA officials have the confidence the forms are complete therefore allowing for VA to make a quick decision regarding awarding the benefit.
“Hats off” for a job well done to people like Amber and the rest of the credentialed staff at AVA. My Mother is receiving her claim that started in June 2016.

I needed assistance in applying for VA benefits for my mother. My father is deceased and she is entitled to his benefits. I researched online and then got a call from them. They charged me $2500 and said that they would get her accepted or give me a refund. I have heard this is a lengthy process and I had no clue where to even begin so I accepted their contract and the process began in February 2016. They were very thorough and I asked a lot of questions which they made every attempt to answer. I had a different agent for every area of concern. You have to keep in mind that they are helping with VA and not medicare. The rules are totally different. In the end the entire process took only 4 months and my mother received a benefit we had no idea she was even entitled to! They applied for every single benefit to see where she could get help. I would never have known to do this. Even though there were some hiccups and I was frustrated with a portion of the advice given, I highly recommend this group. I would still be sorting through paperwork and all the red tape but four months later we are set. I am thankful.

American Veterans Aid was instrumental in the successful application of my 91 year old veteran mother for the Aid and Attendance Benefit from the VA. AVA made the cumbersome process painless and were there to answer all my questions in a professional and timely manner. I would recommend them highly.

I am extremely grateful for the guidance, support and follow through of the AVA and their involvement in helping to obtain approval of benefits for my father. They were extremely professional, efficiently explained every step and requirement and did exactly what they said they'd do. They answered emails and phone call timely and provided answers to all questions. Yes, their service does cost, but I'm confident that the guidance received streamlined the process prevented any concern on our part.

Applying for benefits is a difficult task at best and these people made the process much smoother, and although gathering the information can be tedious, it was all worthwhile in the end when that check from the VA was deposited in my dads account. It only took 6 weeks from the time we received confirmation that the paperwork was received, till that first check went into the bank. Not sure this would have happened at all if it weren't for Veterans Aid. Thank you!!

Had a very positive experience and would recommend them to family and friends.

This is a very concerned and helpful organization. When I first heard of them from a nurse at the hospital I had know idea how to go about how to apply for aid and attendance. AVA was very courteous and helpful in gathering all needed information to be sent in.In less than 3 months I was notified of approval. Thank you

This organization was very helpful in submitting and getting approval for aid. Be prepared, they are very detail oriented, which is necessary to qualify for benefits.

American Veterans Aid was very beneficial in helping my 94 year old mother obtain VA benefits as my dad was a WWII veteran. They walked me through everything to help my mom and would always e-mail or call. After submitting the final paperwork to the V.A. Administration, my mom started receiving benefits 3 months later. If anything came up in the interim, the AVA was there to let me know and advise on what to do. I would definitely recommend AVA for those who need assistance with benefits.

I am very happy to write a review on AMERICAN VETERANS AID. I am the care giver to my father and mother who are both 90 years old. My father is a WW II Navy veteran. I found out through a friend that if one (or both) of your parents is a veteran there is a fund the VA gives to the care givers. With the help of AVA I now receive a monthly VA check. The AVA is wonderful to work with. They make the process easy and know what the VA requires to get your application through the process. Not many people know about this veteran fund. The money is not taxable and you can use it however you wish. Call the AVA today and get the process started. You won't be disappointed. Please tell all your friends who have a parent that is a veteran.

The company never pressured me at all to use them. They did however, spend countless hours with me on numerous phone calls answering every little question I had. They were patient, friendly and completely upfront about everything I should expect. They clearly explained to me that I could certainly do all of this myself, if I wanted to. Their fee is simply for filling out pages and pages of paperwork that I did not want to do. They know exactly which documents are needed so your application gets done correctly the first time. My father now receives the benefit he so greatly needs, with thanks to this helpful organization.

The AVA executives reviewed the response of Ms. [redacted]. We decided to give her the full refund of $1450. The check amounting to $725 representing the remaining 50% has been processed and mailed to her.We want to clear with Ms. [redacted] that AVA did not steal her money. Ms. [redacted] signed up for our service using our online processing and she did her payment online. We recommend that she reads the contract before signing and paying any service to avoid this kind of problem and concern in the future.Sincerely,American Veterans Aid
