I live on the westside of town in a neighborhood in jax flWe purchased a house here years ago and all the homes are connected to gas tank manned by [redacted] companyOur bill run from to $a month on average for the past yearsTheir reason was that we have a gas water heater and so that caused the high chargesSo we switched the water heater to JEA, turned off the furnace that they turned on when we moved in under the assumption that it was supposed to be that way or we would have to call them for an additional charge to turn it onSo we left that runningWe realized after years that we can actually shut it off ourselves, so we didBill is still exeemely high$a month and over They gave us a credit of over $in January as they said they made a mistake in their bilingWithin a month, they wiped out the account and took every penny back We now only use gas for cookingWe are hardly home and that is itAnd bill still run for over $to $a mo

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am very happy being a will call customerHowever, Amerigas switched our service region from Orange to Palmer without explaining that Palmer has different policies in how they handle Will Call ordersMy concerns about the differences in policy were addressed by the manager Paul during my last orderHe handled the matter professionally. However, my concerns about the insufficient number of gallons in the Propane Order on Decwere not addressedI have ordered Propane from Amerigas for over two years and have never had any concerns before about gauge reading discrepancies (including with our last delivery this past week)Our previous propane tank readings were always similar before to the equipment on the truckWe have always been pleased with the service and with the driversWith the delivery on Dec13, the truck's gauge was apparently lower at the beginning and higher at the end--the readings should not be off in both directions on the same day--and not by so muchWe are not talking about just a few gallons difference in the readingMoreover, although we pointed out the discrepancy to the driver--and he stated he would wait until we had called the office to pay for the remaining gallons so that he could fill up the tank completely on the spot and thereby clarify the true reading, he drove off while we were on the phoneWe did not receive gallons of propane on Dec13th Regards, [redacted] ***

Horrible customer serviceNogales branch never answers their phonesIf you call their national call center they will email the Nogales branch to have them call you (since they can't get Nogales to answer any of their listed numbers either)If you receive a call back from Nogales, the receptionist will hang up on you several times before getting your name because she apparently doesn't know how to operate an office phoneThis used to be a servigas franchise, but was bought out by amerigasInstead of firing all of the employees and hiring people willing to work they kept everyoneGreat place to work as an employee apparently, since nobody is held accountable for shoddy customer service, long wait times, or any of the other poor practices evident there

In early December I called Amerigas to have gas deivered. They said they put us on the schedule but they never showed upI called On I called Amerigas's hotline because I smelled gas even though my tank said emptyThey responded immediately and had a technician call me who came out and did a tank check told us that we had a leak and we should get the tank replacedI believe the tank was made in He put gallons of gas in it and scheduled to have it replaced contacting our landlord to set everything up.In a nutshell after several calls months later still no tank though they did continue to send someone out who put gallons here and gallons of gas thereThe whole time when I walked by the tank I could smell gas.FINALLY after a half dozen appointments to replace the tank they came out with the New manager Eric someone emptied our tank which took hours since apparently it was full replaced it with a new tank and in apology told us the tank fill was complimentar

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The 'Insurance Company" already called me when I submitted the initial complaint and denied my complaint with absolutely NO investigation whatsoeverI would like an unbiased investigation of my complaint with me being present on my propertyI do not authorize Amerigas or their "Insurance Company," on my property without me being presentI have read Amerigas's agreement for providing service to my residence and understand they have the abilities to come on to my property to provide a service to my propane needsHowever, this is a complaint, not a service, so the agreement does not give them the right to come on my property without me being presentI again, ask for a unbiased investigation with me present Regards, [redacted]

September 16, 2014 Dear [redacted] ***:Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P an opportunity to respond to [redacted] ’s complaint. Upon receipt of his complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein. We have concluded our investigation and provide the following... response. [redacted] is correct we did deliver 274 gallons of propane to him on August 15, 2014. [redacted] is on a Forecast delivery cycle, which means he gets automatic fill and does not call in to schedule deliveries. At the time of delivery he was set-up as a market rate customer and was charged accordingly. [redacted] went into his local district office on August 25th and quoted a competitor’s price per gallon of $2.09 and wanted us to match the price. Our Customer Relations Representative informed him that we would not be able to do this but did explain to [redacted] the programs we have to offer and what the price per gallon would be for each program. [redacted] was also offered an opportunity to go on a PreBuy contract at the price of $2.09 per gallon but he declined. Our records do not reflect any notes on [redacted] ’s account regarding the holding of deliveries or his tank not being level. However, AmeriGas District Manager Mark A [redacted] has been made aware of this situation and would be more than willing to send someone out to look at his tank. He also is still happy to offer him the PreBuy contract with a price of $2.09 if he is interested. [redacted] can reach Mr. A [redacted] at ###-###-####.We value [redacted] as a customer and appreciate his business. If you have any questions or require further information please do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,Jill D Customer Advocacy Manager
