AmeriGas stopped delivering propane per its regular schedule due to its claim of an unpaid invoice from a year prior [redacted] was never notified of an unpaid invoice in the many invoices/statements received during the interim period Further, AmeriGas has to date not provided a copy of this unpaid invoice despite repeated requests to do so As a result of AmeriGas’ refusal to deliver propane without notice, [redacted] lost a day of production at a significant cost The amount under dispute (shown on 2/13/letter from collections agency as $167.99) is presumably this unpaid invoice from that has never been provided (and the specific amount of which [redacted] is unaware) plus a $fee charged by AmeriGas to pick up its empty canisters from our facility upon our changing suppliers There may be service fees as well which are being claimed, but, again, [redacted] has not received any detail accordingly In fact, the 9/22/Final Invoice from AmeriGas shows “Tota

June 15, approximately pmWe had a scheduled installation of propane gas lines - an addition to an existing gallon tankLines were to be installed about feet for a propane stove addition and an additional feet for a propane dryer installationThis was clearly understood by AmeriGasTwo installers arrived, one in AmeriGas uniform, the other in a T-shirt and jeansThe agent in the T-shirt asked me what racial extraction I was - I thought this was an inappropriate questionThe uniformed agent told me he had no Floor Joist Hangers to install the extension pipesHe asked me how long I was going to be in Wilkesboro and when was I leaving for Hawaii ?? The agent in the T-shirt asked me for my house keys and that they would return after I was gone to install the linesI told him it was absolutely out of the questionI became very suspicious that I was asked for my racial extraction and for my house keysI don't believe this is appropriate conductThey left making some vague comments about when they could returnMY WIFE AND I ARE VERY CONCERNED THAT THERE MAY BE A FUTURE ATTEMPT TO ROB OUR HOME WHEN WE ARE GONETHIS IS A VACATION HOME FOR US

March 31, 2015Dear [redacted] ***:Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P. (“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to [redacted] ’s complaint regarding an account. Therefore, upon receipt of [redacted] ’s complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings. [redacted] ’s account has been closed with a zero (0) balance. We apologize for the delay in closing his account. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to [redacted] and trust this response addresses his concerns. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: May 8, 2014I sincerely question the veracity of **. [redacted] ’s claim for the following reasons.Amerigas determines usage by temperature days and since they have been supplying my propane a delivery has never exceeded 247 gallons to fill my 500 gallon tank, and the average of all deliveries is 205 gallons. **. [redacted] claims that on 12/6/13 they only partially filled my tank, however, this “claimed” partial fill is exactly the average of the amount of propane which is usually needed to fill my tank. Since Amerigas measures the usage by temperature days, it seems odd that a partial fill is exactly the average of what it usually takes to fill my tank. There appears to be about a 250 gallon discrepancy here.It is also odd that when I called about the gas problem the phone attendant stated that I should still have a 60% full tank. How were her records updated to show I had received a full tank of propane when **. [redacted] states that I did not. If I did not receive a full tank of propane, how was **. [redacted] aware of it, yet the local branch supplying the propane was not?I called many times to talk to the Manager, [redacted] ***, and was told he will look into my problem and call me back. It is again odd that when **. [redacted] did take my call that that he never mentioned a partial delivery when he knew in advance what I was calling about. He just stated you must have used the additional propane. ( 500 gallons in less than a month is not likely.)**. [redacted] states in her letter that: “There was an error in communication regarding the short fill which later resulted in an out of gas for **. [redacted] , but not a loss of gas.”It appears **. [redacted] is unaware that my tank had a leaking shut off valve and that when the delivery man did fill my tank on 1/25/14 the only way he could stop it from leaking was to replace the shut of valve. (This was not an error in communications. I was there and witnessed the attempts to stop the propane from leaking.) And, if I did not lose propane, why did **. ***, the Branch Manager, offer me an allowance as a settlement?I cannot prove **. [redacted] ’s claim of a partial delivery is false without a sworn statement by the 12/6/14 delivery driver or access to Amerigas’s records. However, it is obvious that **. [redacted] ’s is unaware of the facts. I had a leak. I saw it. And she has records that the valve was replaced. Would you replace the valve if it weren’t leaking? With regard to the partial delivery **. [redacted] is claiming that not only did Amerigas fail to notify me of this partial delivery, but that when the phone attendant responding to my calls and the branch manager, [redacted] ***, were given the opportunity to mention the partial delivery as a reason for my outage, it just slipped their minds. Regards, [redacted]

I dropped off propane bottles on Novfor re-certification I was told that they would have to send them out to be re-certified It usually takes a couple days but because of the Thanksgiving holiday they would not be ready until the following Monday 11/28/I did not hear from them on Monday or Tuesday of the following week so on Wednesday I went to their office I was told that they were done but still at the warehouse They said the would have them back the following afternoonBy 3pm the following day I still had not heard anything so I called them I was then told that the work had not been completed and that there was a problem with one of my tanks that would need to be repairedThey've had my tanks while I've been without heat for days in November Not once has anyone from this business dialed my phone number They have not met the deadlines that they set They have not been honest about the status of my tanks when I contacted them

I have been living in my current location for 22 plus years and have used propane due to remote location. Two years ago Amerigas bought out Silsbee Propane and we did not switch to Amerigas. When we asked them to please come pick up their tanks (2), I waited over 5 months before I told them if they didn't want the tank, I would remove them myself. That's when their threats of lawsuits began. They said, " if you remove the tanks, you will be held responsible for their replacement and fines." Finally after much ado, they came and picked up the tanks. Now they are suing me for the removal of the tanks that I have been paying rental on for over 20 years! Oh yeah! Ameri, suggests American. Please remove Ameri from your company name for you are anything but American. When I stopped using the tanks that I was leasing from another company, my financial responsibility ended. You could have just left them there and I could have made barbeque pits out of them... But I will not be bullied into paying...

We had NM Propane for well over a decade and never had an issue until it was bought out by AmeriGas. Year after year without fail we would order gas when our tank got to 20%. Delivery was made the following Wednesday. However, with AmeriGas running the show we called and it took A MONTH to get delivery in the dead of winter and I kept getting the run around. Was on empty when they arrived. Sent a driver from another company without giving him directions to our driveway. He passed several times and I had to go out onto the road in the snow and flag him down. By June we changed to a new company. Our tank was between 5-10% (took a pic of the gauge). They came to get our tank and the guy opened the valve and released the propane into the astmosphere (I filmed this with my IPhone) I went to ask him what he was doing and he quickly shut the valve off. Filming him lifting the lid where the gauge was again once it was on the truck. We had a $0 balance and no tank rental fee was due and would not have been for nearly two more months had we kept service. Now I am getting a bill and late fee totaling nearly $300 with zero explanation. This company is practicing thievery! May opt to let PRC / DoT/EPA aware of how they are handling the propane and then billing customers. Local news is a viable option as well.

I was a automatic delivery customer who was supposed to be getting the "Best Price" since I owned my own tankAt some point, they started charging me "price gouging" ratesThe last delivery was $per gallon for fuel that should have been delivered at $They refused to correct the billingCustomer service representatives for the company have been nothing short of atrocious while talking to them over the phoneThey even called me back to explain to me how I was wrong, lying to me about what other companies were charging and what the average price wasThey did not mention that they were using Their average price though out the state, not all companies

WE want to complain against the above mentioned entity because of life endangerment and abusive market practices On date SEPTEMBER NINTH, 2017, We ordered propane exchange tanks to the mentioned company (tanks)Later they brought more tanks at a later dateSome of these tanks were FAULTY and had GAS LEAKS that were reported by our customers and returned for their disposalIn consequence, we called the company asking for a cancellation of their services due to the extreme irresponsibility of their business practices, WE CITE the SCHULTZ Case Law et alfor instanceAt a later date we started negotiations with other company for propane but we are currently no longer interested in such business due to the poor quality of product and service provided by local colluded companies and the liability involved The mentioned company also is charging ** Sales Tax to the invoice despite we have a valid certificate, making these charges illegalThis company is attempting to increase th

I have been a *** customer since with no complaints until January 2014, when deliveries began being made but NO delivery ticket was left at my door; thereby leaving me NO way to verify the amount dispensed I called *** Gas and they quickly send me a ticket; however as it wasn’t left at the time of service there was no way for me to verify it was accurate Therefore I began a spreadsheet of deliveries and noticed during this time period my usage had exponentially increased when it should have been decreasing as my children went off to college
January I requested to speak with a manager who told me they only leave tickets when the customer requests such, a practice I find ridiculous as how am I to know what they are actually dispensing so I noted with the manager that they MUST leave a ticket when delivering to my home Much to my surprise in September an invoice arrived from *** Gas again NO ticket was left at my door at the time of delivery
I began callin
