This business is a sham I was notified by a potential investor that my home was listed on Anchor's website as being in preforeclosure It is not in any type of foreclosure and it appears that the poor investor has been scammed I refuse to contact this company directly as I can see that they charge for me to look and see what they have stated about my home This company needs to be shut down I will be communicating with the potential investor and will encourage him to write a review as well After reading all the information on here it is unlikely that he will be able to get his investment back Shame on this company for taking advantage of people

I explained back 9/20/that I was looking to rent and only had so much time before having to sign a new lease the told me after days if I couldn't find anything I would receive a full refund during that time I did send letters to home owners even to this day have not received any kind of response by letter or even by phoneThroughout this time I have been e-mailing and calling letting them know I am getting no where they kept just saying even now there is nothing they can do unless I have five rejection letters and that my account will end in September with no refundShe simply told me to take the time and money and resend the letters and try again

This by far has to be the WORST company I have ever dealt withThey feed you lies and make it sound all good when you first sign upYou pay a WHOOPING $to have access to certain "listings" they have of houses and they GUARENTEEDED that you'll be put in a house within weeks, and you have to MAIL OUT LETTERS TO HOMEOWNERS to contact themI MAILED OUT OVER LETTERS and got NO RESPONSE FROM NO ONE not even Anchor house themselvesTHEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT EXACTLY MOTNHS FOR A REFUND! Refund Process: MAIL IN A CERTIFIED LETTER STATED YOU WANT A REFUND, and it could take up to DAYS for you o receive itsmh THEY AARE A SCAMI looked at the listings online months from when I purchased and it still had the same house that where ALREADY OFF THE MARKET!! ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS DON'T DO IT!

This Anchor house Financial website is a jokeThis was the worst way that I was robbed for my $and I've been robbed at gun point before at least I got a little action from thatPlease ladies and gentleman STAY AWAY pleasethis is the worst Scam ever This whole thing don't even exist it is just people answering phone calls and working a website to take your moneyWorst scam everDon't even try to get your money back it is impossible

I explained back 9/20/2015 that I was looking to rent and only had so much time before having to sign a new lease the told me after 90 days if I couldn't find anything I would receive a full refund during that time I did send 32 letters to home owners even to this day have not received any kind of response by letter or even by phone. Throughout this time I have been e-mailing and calling letting them know I am getting no where they kept just saying even now there is nothing they can do unless I have five rejection letters and that my account will end in September with no refund. She simply told me to take the time and money and resend the letters and try again.

This company has an unfair practice that you have to receive 5 denial letters to get a refund. I sent my letters with SASE and a letter requesting them people to sign and send back and no one did it. The rep didn't care. They have no interest in returning your money. Don't do it!!!!

This business is a sham. I was notified by a potential investor that my home was listed on Anchor's website as being in preforeclosure. It is not in any type of foreclosure and it appears that the poor investor has been scammed. I refuse to contact this company directly as I can see that they charge for me to look and see what they have stated about my home. This company needs to be shut down. I will be communicating with the potential investor and will encourage him to write a review as well. After reading all the information on here it is unlikely that he will be able to get his investment back. Shame on this company for taking advantage of people.

I am a Real Estate Broker and have a property listed through an exclusive right to sell agreement with the owner. The house is for sale, not for rent. This company is illegally advertising the home for rent. They go on to say they have homes rent to own in all zip codes. that It takes 30 days to move in. No money down. No credit check. They say you can own a home before it goes into foreclosure by taking over the loan. After you register, then you can look at properties on their website. You call the owner and make an appointment to see the property. Once you register, they email you a user name and password to their website, which is a membership site @ $199 registration fee. The registration fee covers title search, etc according to them. They are located in California. Have people on call center across the country. We spoke to operator #2067, Richard on 1/23/2016. His return # is [redacted].
The property I have for sale does not fall into any of this criteria. They are not authorized to advertise this property or offer for rent or for sale at a reduced price.

Review: I was responding to the add on Craigslist that anchor house put out my husband and I were looking to move but only had 2 weeks left anchor house told me that I would have time and all that was stated is that for the 200 dollars I will get a full listing of properties and I never record them so I called a few days after paying Tue two hundred dollars and I was told that I had to wait 90 days for a refund I told them I didn't use there service's and didn't get a email! I explained to them I didn't have time to look for a house and move at the same time. The lady told my husband that we needed denial letters he said for what a refund ! The customer support herd me through the phone and I had said, contact a manager so I did but the lady said sir the only way you will get you money is to get five denial letters how he asked the lady stated you can fudge them he said no no way so I spoke to a manager and I asked for my refund she told me the same thing but she didn't say to forge the letters so I wrote them a letter wanting my money ibcalled again I was told that customer support would never tell me to fudge documents and that was it .I emailed them Oct 21st 2015 and was told to call them if I had a issue I said that it I told them I wanty refund and the next time we speak its to refund my money ! Some one please help all we want is our refundDesired Settlement: All I would like is my money we work hard and live chek to chek and would like our refund please, and thank you for this time to explain Michelle passarello I would like to see this company pay for the issues they have caused on people

Review: I paid $200.00 for listings of pre foreclosures to send the homeowners a letter for myself to take over the mortgage with the help of anchor house financial. Every response I got back from the homeowner was very upset to have gotten the letter for one and for two were NOT in preforeclosure nor missed a single payment for that matter. This is a scam. I tried to hey my money back they claim I have to wait 3 months and send the letters to them that I sent in. This company is a fraud and should be shut downDesired Settlement: I would like my refund of $200.00 and look into listings before sending out. That is a form of harassment to these homeowners that don't deserve to be told they are in preforeclosure.

Review: This company assists in no way and then will not provide a refund in a timely manner. When asked to speak to upper managemeny, was told by ANDREW that management does not take phone calls.Desired Settlement: I expect a refund to my debit account within 3 days

They told me I can get a refund if not satisfied after 90 days, I sent in a certified letter to their address and they did not process my refund because I had no proof of denial letters. so they told me to send more letters out asking if they were not interested to check off they were not interested even though I sent off 25 already. I signed up in July 2015 and it is already March 2016. Lady said maybe somebody will respond by July 2016. I said WHAT I HAVE TO WAIT A YR TO GET A REFUND?

Review: Anchor house financial is selling extremely outdated information to people. My husband and I purchased our home three years ago as a foreclosure and have just recently received a letter from a private party that states they were provided with information from anchor financial indicating our house is in pre-foreclosure and are interested in purchasing our home. We have never missed a mortgage payment and are certainly not in pre-foreclosure. We called anchor financial and informed them their information was approximately 5 years out of date. We purchased the house 3 years ago and it was in foreclosure for about 1 year putting it in pre-foreclosure 5 years ago. They stated they would update their records and take us off of their listing. However, we just received another letter in the mail from a different individual expressing interest in purchasing our home. Just this evening we had someone drive up to our house to look at it. Anchor financial is now knowingly providing inaccurate and out of date information to people.Desired Settlement: I want our information removed from anchor financials listing. I also want anchor financial to notify the private parties they gave our information to that they gave them inaccurate information and that they should not contact us regarding purchase of our home.

Review: On OCTOBER 6, 2015 I gave Anchor House Financial my debit card number and they deducted $199.00 from my account. I tried to cancel 15 minutes later and they told me the money had already been taken out of my account. I did not use there services. I want my money back, as I am on a fixed income SSDI. They are running a scam on people, the Revdex.com in Boston, MA gave then an F rating which is the lowest you can go.Sincerely, J[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want all of my monies refunded back to me.

Review: I contacted a phone number on Craigslist for a home for rent. I was then informed that I could own or lease a distressed home from this company Anchor House Financial all I had to do was pay $199.00. I was then directed to their company website where I paid by credit card and was then given a list of seemingly distressed properties only to find out these properties had already been sold or were now bank owned. I asked for a refund of my money and sent numerous emails to either refund my money or to update the system with correct home information. Neither of which occurred instead, I was told I had to wait 90 days for a full refund with 5 denial letters. How can you get denial letters if the product was never legit to begin with? This is a TOTAL SCAM! As a consumer, I should be able to file a class action lawsuit!!! I want a complete refund. I have a feeling I will never see my $199 again!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $199.00 to my credit card that I used for this service that is not legit. I no longer want this service because it is a scam and I am unable to wait 90 or receive 5 denial letters!!!

Review: I contacted Anchor House Financial via: add on Craig's list. I called a phone number they falsely advertised as an actual resident looking to rent out their home. I quickly found out that I called a service that would help me find an affordable "rent to own home" and if not my 199$ paid for their service will be fully refunded... I sat down with a realtor just as an added bonus to help me find and contact through the listing provided by Anchor House Financial. Upon searching through the listing of homes I discovered several potential options. Through simple research my realtor found that these homes were severely overpriced and 6 out of the 7 listing were already owned...The information provided by Anchor House Financial was out dated and misleading. The next morning I called and explained that I was mislead, that your company doesn't provide what you claim to provide and I would like my money back. I was informed that I must wait 90 days to receive my refund. I agrued that I do not want your service, I will not use your service, and I'd like my money back now. They proceeded to tell me no, that I must wait to receive my refund. I have a feeling they have no intentions on refunding me.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back for the false advertisement, misleading details, and outdated information. I would also like to take it a step further and ask that a lawsuit is filed against Anchor House Financial. Myself and countless others that fell for this scam should be fully refunded above and beyond the 199$ for the stress and time spent/wasted dealing with this matter.Robbery is still a crime is the Country, why should they be immune to it?

Review: I contacted Anchor House Financial after looking on Craiglist for homes for sale. I found one I was interested in and the number I called was Anchor House. When speaking with "O[redacted]" she told me that for $199 I would become a member and could look at many houses in my area that are in pre-foreclosure to where I would be able to buy the home for the foreclosure amount. Also, O[redacted] told me that if after 90 days I was unable to find a home that I was interested in or was unable to purchase, I would be entitled to a full refund of the $199 as long as I requested the refund within 1 year of membership purchase; so I gave them my debit card information. Well, after the 90 days, I had not heard from any of the several homes I sent letters to so I emailed Anchor House for a refund. The email I received told me that I would need to send a letter to them wanting to cancel my membership along with 5 denial letters from the property owners. I sent them the cancellation letter along with the list of addresses that I sent letters to. I also stated in the letter that I had not received any denial letters from any of the homeowners, nor had I had any type of contact with any of the homeowners so I would like my refund. This was in September, and I still have not heard anything from Anchor House. I have the receipt from sending it certified mail also. Please, anyone reading this that is checking to see if you should do business with Anchor House Fincancial, please do not do business with these people.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $199 they took from me

Review: We were required to put $199 down for a registration fee to find a home. We did so, but every address we were given was either nonxistant or occupied without a for sale sign. I tried calling a woman named C[redacted] back at her direct number ###-###-####. She will not return any of my phone calls. I calledvthe customer care line today and the lady I spoke with said the money would refunded in 90 days but I have to end them a check for 10% of the $199. Nobody mentioned this before we paid the money. I work a part time job and can't afford to be taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: I would like my $199 back immediately since I was given half of the information to begin with.

Review: Where shall I begin? If this was a real company, I must say it would be a GREAT investment for investors as they can possibly purchase a home for cheap and not necessarily "rent-to-own" as this company advertised. There is no such thing as renting to own with Anchor House Financial - this company is a scam. Just see the Transfer Value(s). Half of the homes listed have incorrect addresses and they even have an address listed that I found to be a Wells Fargo address in Greenwich, CT.The other half are proud homeowners who just want to be left alone. I am still trying to figure out how this company is standing and why didn't I conduct any type research prior to signing up, but it's too late. Today drew the line for me as I received a phone call from an upset homeowner (which I completely understand him) who was cussing up a storm. First of all, his house is NOT undergoing foreclosure at all. I personally thought in the area I was looking there would be a house for $2.5 million because houses fell by 3% in the Greenwich area (so I read) - his house is $30 MILLION! I don't even know this man and I was completely embarrassed. I felt bad for even taking up his time. I had no choice but to hang up on him because he was beyond rude and I was just trying to explain to him that his house was on the listing for MUCH less. No way in the world will that house be listed under rent-to-own, but it can be under foreclosure, which is why we thought this company was a great catch. My husband called today and the rep asked him how many letters has he sent out and we sent out roughly 20 - 8 were undelivered (Address didn't exist AT ALL) and the rep had the nerve to say we should send out more. WHAT?! Unreal! Again, out of 20 8 were undelivered, we received a call from an angry man, they have a bank listed which makes no sense and I am NOT interested in any other area but Greenwich, CT so I just want my $200 back because they don't deserve a penny from me or any other customer out there. Fraudulent company - so sad!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund, please.

Review: Scam artists. Playing on people's emotions and desire to better themselves. And even though it sounds to good to be true your hoping that this could possibly be true. I Gave them access to my account and $199.00 was taken out. Once they get the money they don't want to speak to you and immediately get disconnected. I saw this add on Craigslist and would like them somehow held accountable also. I am sure they have been contacted and told this was a scam but they continue to promote this advertisement.Desired Settlement: refund and advertisement taken off of Craigslist.
