Total scam. No contract signed. They go off a verbal agreement. Rep David told me if Im satisfied I can get a refund within 30 days. Not 90 days. It will be too late and their terms and agreement is a total lie so you will not get your money back. A class action lawsuit needs to be issued to this company. The houses they give you are ghetto runned down houses that are vacant. Their scheme is to sreal your money.

Review: Anchor House Financial is a complete rip off. They tell you, you will be provided with rent to own listing. Ask you for a 200.00 payment and tell you if the program does not work for you. Don't worry!! You will receive a full refund. Just go to the website and request a refund. What they don't tell you is you must wait 90 days and you must have 5 denial letters from property listing. I have mail out out over 30 letters and did not receive one response. So how can they hold you to a term that you have no control over. Not one property owner responded to any request and they know that. They with hold this information when you are signing up for the program. They make a whole lot of promises that they can keep. So basically you are out of 200.00 plus all the postage used to mail out request. Beware Anchor House Finacial IS A SCAMDesired Settlement: I would like my $200.00 refund in full

Review: Anchor House Financial, won't give me my refund, they caused us to move out in our last place, they didn't not put us in a house that was available, that was suppose to be empty and it was just right for us especially close to my husband's job. Reason why we want to move right away before winter hits. I keep doing what they want me to do when the listing was on craigslist with ID number, had to copy letters and send them to owners. Found out on one we was interested in on that same day, I email these people told them the ID number that was on Craigslist and it was available and ready to move in. Got email the next day saying it was not available. I got aggravated, upset and suspicious. My husband checked these people out found out they are scams. They are selling homes that was not in foreclosure or close being foreclosed. Also, the ones they stated it wasn't available, still on the listing and still on craigslist. I called them and I told them, I want my $200 back, they refused they stated in their terms and condition that we have wait till 90 days to recieved the refund if approved. I mention if they don't I know they are scams and I will report to authorities if I don't get it. They cut me off. Now it has been 90 days. I called them for the 6th time, telling them once more I want my refund. I mean I will go further not only go to autorities in my state and county, I will file charges not only $200 plus closely costing us being homeless. She stated was approved to get my $200. But in their terms it will be within 30 days after receiving a letter request a refund by certified mail. I live in Ohio, they are in California. To me, I am not stupid. I know these kind of scammers. I am not doing that for I know I won't see that money. I told her to certified the check by fedex over night. They won't do it. So I am reporting them now to you for you put a stop of them ripping people off. They are people out of their homes that are not in foreclosure or soon to be.Desired Settlement: I want the company, to refund my $200 within five days or sooner with their cost to my house by Fed Ex, the check has to be certified from their bank. I don't want delays. If I don't get it in five days or sooner, I will file charges.

Review: I was told by this company that if I do NOT receive a responce regarding a house that is up for foreclosed homes after 90 days that I would be able to get my money back, it has been over 90 days and I have not had any response back from any of the home owners stating they were denying my request. So I called the company and asked for a refund, they told me that we have to send back 5 denial letters in order to get a refund. It is kind of hard to send them denial letters when I have NOT received any letter from the home owners that I had contacted. This place is a sham and for people who really need help that want to improve their credit they do not help out anyone at all besides helping themselves to people who barely have money to feed themselvesDesired Settlement: I would like a FULL refund from a service that I have not had ANY help getting from this company

Review: I was sold a membership to their foreclose homes as an easy way to own a house vs renting. The website information is the average public record information and the method to acquire a house is virtually impossible and totally contradicting of their claims.Desired Settlement: Full refund $199.00

Review: after loosing my job I also lost my home. I began searching rent to own anchor housing popped up on a majority of these homes, I called to find out how the program worked I was told anchor housing would send me a list of houses in my area, once I found a house they would have me in it within two weeks. no money down and affordable payments. the requirment was for me to allow anchor housing too withdraw $199 dollars, from my banking account clearly stated if they did not get me in a home of my choice full amount will be refuned. I have searched at least 15 homes, with no responce from anchor housing, I find out this is a scam now they tell me I have too wait 90 days for my refun. they refused too let me speak too the manger.Desired Settlement: see above

Review: I was contacted by a representative of the company, [redacted], who called because I was searching for rental property. He suggested signing up for their service which supposedly provides a search engine for finding a home available for mortgage assumption from the current owner. This sounded logical at the moment but once I got on the site I quickly discovered that all of the properties were $20K to $50K above market value for the homes. Additionally, the information on the site is out of date by as much as 3yrs. I would not have considered this company's proposal had Mr. [redacted] not done such a good job of misrepresenting their product. I strongly recommend that no one sign up for this service!Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund of $199.00 based on misrepresentation of services.

Review: This company has their representatives saying that after 90 days, if for any reason you are not satisfied, they will refund your $199. Well after the 90 days they won't refund the money without denial letters from the homeowners...one problem, the homeowners don't exist. The listings are not real. So denial letters are impossible to get. This company is a scam which takes your money and lists fake addresses. There is no way of receiving denial letters. Plus they want to keep 10% handling fee after sending a certified letter requesting a refund. Since they trap people into paying and waiting 90 days, my bank won't investigate after the 30 day period. I have to say that I'm screwed now.Desired Settlement: I would like my $199 refunded without anymore struggle and backlash from Anchor House Financial. If the information was real and truthful, I might not mind jumping through their hoops but since I feel that it's entrapment, I'm extremely upset with the legitimacy of this company.

Review: A couple days after realizing that Anchor House Financial was a scam then doing research online and seeing it was truly a scam I started to demand my money back but I was told I had to wait 90 days. Today is my 90 days and I am due for a refund. But I am told that I need to have 5 reject letters, then they will see if I can have my money back, but if I do get a refund they want 10% of it. This company has no listing in my area for me to have them 5 reject letters. So I called them told them this and they still want a written letter and the 5 reject letters. So I have no way of getting my refund back. Then they told me they will not give me my refund. I have waited the 90 days, I want my full money back. They took it off my credit very easily now I want my money back just as easy as they took it. I have called 4 times, then waited 3 times for a manager to only have him hang up on me. My wait time on these calls was over 20 minutes.Desired Settlement: I want my FULL refund back. They do not get to keep the 10% of my money. I do not get my full refund I will take them to court and ask for more.

Review: I asked about getting a refund and they told me I had to try their product and I had to wait 90 days until I was eligible for a refund. They then directed me towards their refund terms while involved me contacting homeowners through their website and getting 5 denials and a lot of extra work. Basically it seems impossible to meet the criteria and they aren't going to give me my money back.Desired Settlement: I want my $199 that I paid to this company.

Review: I called a local Oklahoma number to see about a house I seen in craigslist and it forwarded me to this anchor house co. After about 5 calls I decided to pay the 199 dollars to see if they could help me find a bigger house I really need for my growing family. I stepped out on a limb and done this just before Christmas which has proven to be a mistake. My card was charged twice and took money away from hurts for the family. I seem to get the run around every time I call, saying that that matter is being looked into.

On top of the money problem, I have done what the we site told me to do and everyone I have sent letters to about house has responded to me and has no idea why their house is in this site. None of the houses in here appear to be available or for sale in anyway. I feel this website is not up to date and there for is fraudulent activity.Desired Settlement: I feel I should have a very prompt refund on the double billing and that I should get a full refund from the business and cancel my log-in to their site. I feel this is fraudulent activity and should be completely updated before anymore people spend money on this site

Review: I purchased their services that was 199.00. That they help with listings of homes on foreclosure homes. All homes on their sight is either sold not was ever foreclosed or for sale. They faulse advertise. When you call they give you a line of garbage and will make it right. But still does not deliver on their promise. They take peoples money with out delivery of services.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $199.00 charged to my credit card.

Review: I live in Albuquerque,

NM and have been trying to find a

foreclosed home I could buy, I saw this site online and thought it would be a

good thing to get a few listings and thought it would help in my venture to

find a home.so I signed on to this website and paid $199 for a listing that was

so outdated, but one of the homes I went to, had not been in foreclosure since

2011.the other 24 home listings, I went to find the homes, and there were no

such address's at all. They were all made up. So I’m ticked off at this point,

lost a lot time and gas money trying to find these homes, because the site does

not give you the actual picture of a home, it’s of aerial view only with a

pointer of where it should be. What a rip off for people who are trying to save

money to get a home and this is the crap people have to go thru, what a crappy

thing to do to people. Plus I have tried calling the customer service line,

only for it tell you that you are the 17th caller and it never gets back to

you.so I kept trying and trying and nothing until today, when I finally get

thru and talk to a rep. Then she tells you that she has to talk to a manager

and then the manager gets on says he has no authority to give the refunded

amount back, I am furious at this point and I tell him I want my money back, he

says he will have to go talk to his boss and comes back on about 10 minutes

later and says he can only give me $150.00 back, because I did not go thru the

proper steps of the cancellation or refund policy of 90 days, I told him who

the hell wants to keep a site for 90 days when the homes aren't even there.

Pure stupidity on their part. I was mad at this point and told him he was an

it , he says then you may not even get your money back . This so-called

business needs to be closed down, I will also take this to the fbi as a scam to

get peoples hard earned money. I am so ticked off at this point, he hung up on

me.Desired Settlement: Refund. See that anchor house financial listings be taken off the web, so that

other people don't have to go thru the same hell I just did. This place is a

big scam...

Review: I recieved a letter from this company Saturday Aug 8 2015 at my residence. The letter came with a return address to the Company address in California, all information was hand written on the envelope and MAILED here in Corpus Christi on Friday 7 Aug 2015. The letter states that I am a homeowner with a home in pre-foreclosure status!!!! I have been in my home since March 2013, making regular payments on time. I contacted Chase Bank to let them know I was going to be making the july payment on aug 1st and the Aug payment at the end of the month due to a medical issue causing me to me a little behind............NOT foreclosure late at all! If this was official mail, it should have come better addressed not in hand writing, and mailed from the California location not here in town.Desired Settlement: I want to know why they are contacting me, if I am not losing my home, why are they sending me mail stating that I am in pre-foreclosure. How they got my information as to this fact. My bank has NOT told me I am about to lose my home............Now I am worried about the status of my mortgage, to have this, what looks like a untrustworthy company contacting me and you have an F rating on this group.

This Anchor house Financial website is a joke. This was the worst way that I was robbed for my $199 and I've been robbed at gun point before at least I got a little action from that. Please ladies and gentleman STAY AWAY please. this is the worst Scam ever. This whole thing don't even exist it is just people answering phone calls and working a website to take your money. Worst scam ever. Don't even try to get your money back it is impossible.

Review: Anchor House Financial told me that I could get a refund after 90 days if things didn't work out. I waited the 90 days, and sent around 200 letters to homeowners. I never got one response back from any homeowner. After that, they said that I needed 5 letters of denial from the homeowners. What a bunch of lies. They've done a good job of scamming me out of my 199$.Desired Settlement: I want my refund for 199$.

Review: States has foreclosed homes to take over payments. After registering with this company find out these people that are in foreclosure do not even know this company is doing this with there homes.Desired Settlement: would like a refund and these people shut down

Review: I initially signed up with Anchor House Financial under the guise that I would be able to find a house and take over the payments from the homeowner. The representative was very persuasive about the whole process and assured me that process would be smooth and that many satisfied customers are serviced through the company. Upon paying the $199 fee into the site, what I found was quite contrary to what I was told. The information was very vague about the houses that were shown, and most only included front pictures of the properties at best. One particular property that I was interested in was actually not even available through the homeowner, as he/she could not be contacted directly. The process to contact the homeowners was through US mail, which I attempted with 4 properties total and did not receive any response whatsoever. Upon contacting the company again about the difficulty of the process that I was having, I was told that I had to "keep trying". Frustrated, I called and asked for a refund so that I could take my business elsewhere, and to my surprise, was informed that I would not be eligible for a refund until 90 days after the date that I initially signed up. Fast forward 90-days later, I called and asked for the refund and was told that I need to formally request it in writing and attach 5 denial letters from the homeowners. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I just want a refund for $199, minus the 10% for the processing fee.

This business is a sham. I was notified by a potential investor that my home was listed on Anchor's website as being in preforeclosure. It is not in any type of foreclosure and it appears that the poor investor has been scammed. I refuse to contact this company directly as I can see that they charge for me to look and see what they have stated about my home. This company needs to be shut down. I will be communicating with the potential investor and will encourage him to write a review as well. After reading all the information on here it is unlikely that he will be able to get his investment back. Shame on this company for taking advantage of people.

Review: I contacted and contracted with this company to obtain a property that was advertised by them as available to mortgage assumption and rent until prepared. After registration, the home was not available. Two months later, this same home is again on the internet as available now. They use this process to have people pay $199 for the purpose of using their service, which is not a problem except what you are interested in is not open for purchase. $995 / 3br - 2078ft2 - Stunning patio home conveniently located minutes away from U of H! Just as the property is not available now, the bait and switch seems to have been in process over a period of time. As you can see, they updated the status on that ad even after informing me in Sept. that I could not work out a deal.
