Revdex.com of WisconsinJune 2016RE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted] Revdex.com personnel, We have contacted John regarding this complaint but unfortunately, a signed consent release has not been receivedWe are unable to respond further without consent

Revdex.com of WisconsinFebruary 2017RE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted] Revdex.com personnel,This complaint was filed by Teresa but as indicated in the original message, the concern was for a visit her son Kieran hadKieran's visit was placed with a third party collection agency and Teresa felt there was no prior notification given and she says payments were being made on the charges. The doctor's charges for Kieran's visit were billed under the account Teresa's nameThe initial balance was $and that amount was billed for the first time in August Our records indicate Kieran sent correspondence later that month regarding repayment; he agreed to pay $monthly to pay the balance in full.A $payment was received in August but there is no record of payment in September or OctoberAnother $was received in November but only $was received in DecemberDue to $not being received each month as agreed, the payment plan was canceled January and placed with a collection agency the next day.The total balance owed at that time was $and payment was received for that amount on February There is no impact to anyone's credit if a balance is paid in the first days of placement with a collection agency so Teresa's credit will not be negatively impactedWith regards to her concern that they weren't notified before being sent to collections; we have record of attempted contact and a voicemail being left for Teresa in JanuaryMore importantly the October, November and December billing statements each contained a message alerting them that the account was past due and eligible for collectionsCharges are billed for four consecutive months before collection placement so there was ample opportunity to get the account current beforehand.Having presented this information, we consider this matter to be resolved and respectfully ask the Revdex.com to close this complaintThere is no further action that needs to be taken on this matter by Teresa or Aurora Health Care

Revdex.com of WisconsinSeptember 2015RE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted] Revdex.com personnel,We have received [redacted] ’s complaint and are aware he still disputes the $amount charged for service but this matter has already been addressed. As stated in his complaint, [redacted] says he was under the impression that services provided by a physician’s assistant would not becharged the same rate as service provided by an MDThis concern was initially raised in January this year and since that time we have conducted several reviews of the charges in question, found no errors in our billing and communicated our results to [redacted] in writing on more than one occasion. There is no difference in the amount charged for service provided by a PA or MD and we were unable to verify how [redacted] would have been told otherwiseEventually, [redacted] ’s concern was brought to the attention of our clinical Risk Management; Risk completed another review of all information available and replied to [redacted] via letter that an adjustment for the disputedbalance was not warranted and would not be givenAurora does not settle on balances owed and the review by Risk is also the highest level review available so this decision will stand.Lastly, [redacted] is likely unaware but the $amount in question was also unfortunately placed with third party collection agency Americollect as of August This was not an intentional act to punish [redacted] but rather a result of the billing system since the balance was unpaid and no financial arrangements were made eitherThe agency will be sending a letter informing him of placement with their agency so all payment and or arrangements would be handled by them at this timeIt is very important to note however that [redacted] ’s credit has not been affected; during the first thirty days of placement with an agency there is no negative credit impact if arrangements are made so we would encourage [redacted] to contact Americollect at his earliestconvenience.Having given our position on this matter, we respectfully consider it to be closed and ask for the Revdex.com to do the same

We have sent an acknowledgement letter and release consent to Nicole for this complaint

Revdex.com of WisconsinSeptember 2015RE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted] Revdex.com personnel,As he stated in his complaint, [redacted] has contacted our office several times regarding the $charge for the cutting of his toenails and we have consistently informed him that it is a valid charge for services that were performedThat response still holds true for this complaint as well.It must be pointed out that [redacted] has not yet been billed $from Aurora but he has received his Explanation of Benefits from his insurance indicating they denied the charge and he can be billed for itOn a prior call to our office regarding this concern we conducted a review of his visit and based on the information contained in [redacted] 's medical record, the initial physician was very specific with her concerns for the condition of [redacted] 's feet and thus gave the referral [redacted] mentionedThe podiatrist also noted concerns with [redacted] 's feet and proceeded to cut his toenails to help address those concerns.Nail debridement is not a service that is covered by Medicare and [redacted] 's second insurance also didn't provide any benefit; this is likely how and why they informed him the $charge will be his responsibility to payOnce that charge is billed to him we will be happy to work with [redacted] on an arrangement to allow him to pay the balance over time if needed. Please accept this response to his complaint and our respectful request to close this complaint

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, Chris [redacted]

Revdex.com of WisconsinSeptember 2015RE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted] Revdex.com personnel,We have received ***'s rejection of our reply to his complaint and though he disagrees with our findings, our position on this matter remains unchanged. In our initial reply we fully acknowledged there were errors on the first claims sent to his insurance and we corrected those errors and sent new claimsVisits cannot be coded just so insurance will pay a claim; the claim has to accurately reflect services provided with supporting documentationPrior to contacting [redacted] for this complaint, he contacted our office still disputing the account balance and another review was initiated and has since been completedOur findings confirm that all necessary corrections have already been made on this matter so at this time there is no further action left for Aurora to takeWe respectfully disagree with [redacted] that he is being forced to correct our errors as there are no errors that need correctingHe still has the option of getting the records for he and his wife's visit and working with our medical record department if he feels the information is inaccurate and he can set up a payment plan to pay the balance over time but he continues to refuse those options he risks this account being placed with a third party collection agency.Respectfully, we ask the Revdex.com to close this complaint at this time

Revdex.com of WisconsinSeptember 2016RE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted] Revdex.com,Our office is aware Jeffrey rejected the response to his complaint but the information it contained was accurate. In both the original complaint and the rejection of our last response, Jeffrey stated his son should receive a full refund on the $charged for removing a splinterWhen contacted by phone he repeated his concern that the charge was excessive and asked what could be done about it; our mention of a partial refund was simply to reference that Jeffrey was seeking something in monetary terms to be returned.Unfortunately, we understand that it is unlikely that there will be a mutual understanding with Jeffrey regarding the charge in questionWe have informed him that Aurora's fees are not negotiable and informed him that our fees are not set by any one personWe do fully acknowledge that the charge to remove his son's splinter was likely greater than expected but there was no attempt on our part to gouge his sonEvery effort is made to keep our costs as low as possible which directly benefits our patients. As stated in our previous response this disputed balance has already been satisfied by Jeffrey and or his sonIf he wishes to continue this dispute it is his right to do so but it must be said again that there is no wrong doing on Aurora's partA service was provided to his son and he was billed for it accordinglyAt this time we again respectfully ask the Revdex.com to close this complaint

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I was not contacted by Provider giving me results on the test nor have I have been given any treatment for a condition Same story another day - again, I went for a bone density test as a result of my wellness exam Seems to be a lost cause Regards, [redacted] ***

Attempts by Aurora Health Care to contact me failed as I didn't recognize the phone number They were able to contact me but after a day period expired I was instructed by the caller to reject their reply and to then call back to request a new letter authorizing discussion of my complaint (suspectedly due to HIPPA laws) once they received the rejection in return Part of this is because the letter they sent requesting my authorization to discuss with them was never received by me

Good morning, I spoke with MrKenneth [redacted] this morning regarding the rejection received from the Revdex.comKenneth requested that I resend the authorization form to the address we have on file for himThis form will be mailed today, once returned Aurora Health Care will provide a detailed response to his complaintPlease let me know if there are any questions/concernsThank you

Revdex.com of WisconsinOctober 2015RE: Aurora Health Care complaint [redacted] Revdex.com,We see that [redacted] has rejected our response to his complaint but his rejection does not change our position. As we shared previously, on his visit with both the MD and podiatrist both doctors noted concerns with the condition of [redacted] 's feet; if the MD didn't have any concerns there wouldn't have been a referral to the podiatristIf [redacted] disagrees that either or both doctors had concerns he is welcome to obtain a copy of his medical records and he will see the specific concerns each doctor documented on each visit. It is also worth noting that [redacted] has not denied receiving the service but rather the amount he expects to be billed for itIn his rejection he also made mention that actual service provided was very brief and didn't require a significant amount of timeAurora does not bill services based solely on time but instead on the services themselvesSince there is no disagreement that the services were indeed provided we will look to [redacted] for payment when he is billed for them.Once again, we now respectfully ask the Revdex.com to accept this response and close this complaintWe are still willing to extend payment arrangements to [redacted] if needed when the balance is billed to him but outside of that there is nothing further we can offer on this matter

Revdex.com of WisconsinAugust 2016RE: Aurora Health Care complaint Revdex.com personnel, We have been unable to reach [redacted] to discuss the concerns she mentioned in this complaintThe attached letter has been sent asking her to contact our office at her convenience so we can address this matterPlease accept this notice as our attempted resolution

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Thanks Revdex.com for your role in facilitating thisAs has been acknowledged by Aurora there has been multiple rounds of fixing the errors and there are still errors which are currently being reviewed by AuroraIt's premature of Aurora to claim everything has been resolved when they haven't acted up on my request for review yetFurthermore , the person from Aurora who contacted me pretended that everything is fixed without checking the facts first Later that person did acknowledge that things are still under reviewAs I mentioned in my complaint and to Aurora representative I want all my bills to be thoroughly reviewed for errorsJust requesting documentation is not going to help if there are errors in process for documentationAuroras billing process is full of errors and its Aurora's responsibilities and duty to fix those instead of asking customers to chase those errors and get them fixedIf there is an error on insurance side of things , I will take responsibilities for those errors and get them fixed working with an insurance company but it's unethical for Aurora to force customers fix Aurora's billing errorHope Aurora realizes that they need to take ownership for these errors and fix them Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com of WisconsinMarch 2016RE: Aurora Health Care complaint ***Revdex.com,We have spoken with *** regarding her complaint and want to share our position.During our conversation, *** acknowledged that her bill wasn't paid monthly as initially agreed but she says this was due to not receiving a bill each month and being unable to access her Aurora account onlineShe also repeated her belief that Aurora bears some responsibility in failing to provide a monthly bill and if removed from third party collections she will pay the remaining balance*** also clarified the reason her payments were stopped was due to fraudulent activity identified by her bank.Aurora's position on this matter is that we are unable to substantiate the information she providedWe have record of statements being sent to her home address each month and unless we receive notification of return mail, we have no way of knowing if they are received or not. The billing address is accurate on each statement, there was no evidence of return mail and we also have record that when ***'s monthly payments began to decline in August 2015, we sent notification via letter as wellShe acknowledged getting this letter some months later. In terms of payment, there are several options available to our patients and this was explained to ***Payments can be made via US mail, online, in person at any Aurora facility, over the phone with a representative and over the phone via our automated IVR systemHaving said that, Aurora's expectation is that payment is ultimately a patient's responsibility and even if she didn't receive a bill consistently, *** was aware there was a balance owed and had several means to meet that responsibilityShe acknowledged not verifying payment activity with her credit card so unfortunately, another opportunity to manage the payment was missed. With regards to her collection placement, Aurora's policy is to bill patients for a period of four - six monthsAny remaining balance at that time will be placed with a collection agency and our way of informing patients of that information is by including a message on their bill statementIn the event of an account being placed in collections, there is no negative credit reporting if the balance is paid or arrangements are made within the first days of placement*** was placed with collections February and did acknowledge getting a letter from the agency and speaking with them, but thus far has not set up an arrangement.Against this backdrop of information, we respectfully consider this matter to be resolved and ask you to do the sameShe is likely to disagree but without any way of knowing she wasn't receiving her bills and with the multitude of options available, *** still had ample opportunity to ensure her monthly agreement was being maintainedWe have no other option we can offer

I was able to speak with Mrs Brandy *** from Aurora yesterday afternoon and she was able to spend some time to look into my case, and happily we were able to resolve the issue. Kind regards,Jennifer * ***
