We hired Aspen Contracting to replace our roof and gutters following a hail storm in We chose them due to their national presence and Revdex.com accreditation Unfortunately our experience was not very positive The crews that tore down the old roof and installed the new roof were not supervised by Aspen employees We have a large house and the entire roof was thrown to the ground in about minutes The clean up each day was sloppy - we were picking up nails and other debris for months after they finished And payment was a challenge due to issues with both our insurance and mortgage companies, but Aspen didn't seem to understand how complex these issues were So they threatened several times to put a lien on our property Overall a pretty frustrating experience

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/04/13) */
The General Manager has contacted the customer to resolve his issue

Aspen Contracting replaced our roof due to extreme hail damage They were timely replacing the initial roof (though the work took longer than originally projected)We have an older home, built in 1904, and during the roofing process the ceiling upstairs developed some serious cracksThe project manager saw the cracks and was going to send someone to repair the cracksThat was never doneAfter our first big rain storm, we discovered we had a leak in the roofWe advised Aspen Contracting and a different project manager came to access the damageA crew was sent to repair the leak and upon inspection, the supervisor discovered the shingles on the roof had been improperly nailed and some of the flashing was installed incorrectlyAll the issues were addressed and reportedly fixedWhen the crew re-nailed the shingles that weren't installed correctly, the hammering worsened the existing cracks in the upstairs ceiling and created a few additional cracksThe new project manager took ph

On 11/28/I signed a contract with Aspen contracting incorporated roofing companyto replace my house's roofing totallyas per contract in my hands represented by Jacob ***phone no###-###-####Aspen roofing coreplaced the roof then when I did inspect the roof I told Jacob that it was not well done, I did inspected the roof and it was several imperfections noted by myself, he did a quick inspection and applied some sticky material to the imperfections and he said it was finehe called his supervisor and he stated the same that the roof was ok, I did insisted that was not ok they than brought the regional supervisorand he stated that the job was finethat the city supervisor was going to come and inspect itand that if something happens as leaking or any other problemjust to call Aspen COand they will come and do the repairs that they were willing to fix any problem as necessarywhen the rain did come the roofing started leaking I called them and they sent so

Aspen evaluated my roof, worked with the insurance company to ensure payment and replaced my roof in a timely manner! They did an outstanding job and my contact person, *** ***,was a pleasure to work with

As the customer states, *** has been working with her

Aspen Contracting is a very poor company to do business with, they are full of big words and promises and are incompetent to do the job as promised
It took over months for the work to be completedThe roof was done first and the gutters were completed months and days after we signed the contract
No one called to say when they were coming to put in the new gutters, they just showed upMaybe, I expect too much from good customer service but this company should not be providing service to anyone in this community
The roof just fineThe gutters just fineThe company is what I do not trust for anythingI have had a very bad experience with no communication and then suddenly pulling up out of the blue without a phone calldisturbing

My complaint with Aspen is not the job of doing the roof, but after service with the people that are hired to do the fascia, soffett, etc! They are absolutely terrible. It took two months to get my fascia doneWhen the guy came to do it, he ruined all the soffetts! Then it took another month to get it doneWhen they came to fix all they had ruined , the guy discovered layers of fascia! The one was so ruined, but he just put another layer over it!! I couldn`t believe what I saw! Again the roof was fine, but everything else they did was a total joke!!! The project manager quit months before my job was done and no one ever called to check on anything!! I had to make all the calls!!! I would never use this company again for anything!!! Hope we don`t have another hail storm!!!! But never again would I recommend ASPEN CONTRACTING!!!! PERIOD!!!!

Employees that I dealt with in the Lee's Summit, MO office seem nice and eager to helpVery responsive and answered questions in timely mannerRecommended to my friends and neighbors

Great! An Aspen team member knocked on my door and let me know that my roof could be damaged from the recent hail storm that rolled through AshlandThe next day the young man came out and inspected my roof and he showed me pictures of all of the hail spots on my roof and all around my houseHe advised me that I should call a claim in with my home owners insurance and I didThe young man came out and met with the insurance adjuster and they both inspected my property again and agreed on damaged that was foundAfter my home owners insurance sent me the copy of my estimate Aspen matched their price and the next week I had a new roofAspen put my roof on in one day and the siding and gutters were put on the very next dayAll of the workers were cleaning around my house the entire time they were workingI was so pleased with the work they didEvery was so nice and patient with meMy house looks a million times better it is essentially a brand new house nowI definitely would recommend Aspen Contracting to all of my friends and family and anyone else who plans on getting exterior work done to their homeThey even gave me a Life Time WarrantyWhat a great Company!!

Aspen Contracting came to my home in May after wind and hail storm
Barry Giardono was my project consultant he was very professional and kind
He assured me of the quality of work and reliability of the company because I was unsure about hiring someone from out of stateHe was there through the whole process and was always available Aspen replaced our roof two out buildings .fascia ,screens, and gutteringI was pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of each crew I would highly recommend them to my friends

Amazing!!! This company goes above and beyond seriouslyI purchased new siding, roof and gutters from them in The siding had a peice in the back this past summer 17’I called they came out the follow day fixed the issue and called to follow upFast forward to I just listed my house for sale and the day after I received an offer the roof started leaking into my dining roomI called in they had someone out working on the roof replacing shingles for hoursNo questions asked and even replaced the ceiling tile damaged from the leakAll this on time for my inspectionThese folks rockThe next time I need a roof, siding or gutters I will be calling them to do it

We hired Aspen to repair our home after a storm.Everything started out well.We gave them the insurance check and that's when the problems started. There was no communication on when the repairs would start, we waited and waitedFinally the roof got replaced. Now we have shingles that don't lay flat on both sides of the roof, when it came time to reside the house they got the wrong Hardie Board for the front and proceeded to argue with us that it was the correct styleThey finally got the correct sidingwhile removing the old siding they proceeded to damage a new screen door handle, broke the top off the back faucet( frost plug expansion cap) damaged the crown molding on the side garage door, they never said anything. Finally the house was sided there are so many inconsistencies, drip cap on some things non on others where it was required, gaps above doors that were not filled in properly, window wrap with huge gaps, we had to fill them in with caulking, nails and cigarette butts all ove

My roof has 3” of water standing on it week after last rainfall, metalwork was not completed, wentilation ductis leaking, gutters higher than low point of roof
They came to Texas after hurricane Harvey and
Apparently they are storm chasers and go to Texas, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee or any where else they can take advantage of victims
I was told roof under warranty but I have been calling since June to get work finished They keep telling me they are going to take care of the problem but it’s been months I now have a 7' waterfall off the front of my office which is a safety issue for my patients, and 3" of water standing on my roof even after no rain for a week this is going to start causing structural issues
They are taking advantage of people in natural disaster situation and saying they are backed by the Revdex.com That was one of the reasons I chose them

My wife and I filed an insurance claim on our roof and contacted Aspen Roofing to replaceInsurance payed for not only the roof and ew gutters, but also paid to have the interior of our home repaired where water damage had occurredAspen was quick to install the roof; did a great job of cleaning up and turned it over to their gutter team to finish the installThose went up fairly quickly as wellThat's when our satisfaction endedOur roof was not properly installed and leaked worse than beforeThe leak caused damage to the interior of the home that had already been repaired; this time the damage was more extensive based on the additional water entering the home due to lack of proper flashing, sealing, etcThe new gutters are leaking between the home and the gutter; again, improper installationEvery corner in leaking like a sieve and you can see daylight through the corners due to sloppy installationWe have attempted to work these issues with the Rep who sold use the new roof

Aspen started out extremely nice up until the day of the actual installation of my roofI hired them to replace my roof and asked them for estimate to replace skylight on my shedMy shed wasn't suppose to be covered under my homeowners insurance so I told them I only wanted the skylight fixed from hail damage because I was paying out of pocketI was unable to be home the day and didn't come home until it was darkVanessa from Aspen asked me to do a walk through even though I told her I couldn't see anything because it was darkEverything appeared okay but I didn't go up on my roof to personally see and to my surprise they replaced the roof on my shed and skylight without giving me a estimateI wrote them out a check for over $for part of my deductible and the first half of insuranceOver the next few days I started finding hundreds of nails and garbage all over my propertyI even ended up getting a nail in my tire from all of them they leftThe skylight they put in looks like they bought one to small and literally put up by on the inside to try to make it fitIt lookes like a home project that went horribly wrong and unprofessionalWhen I complained they continued to try to tell me it wasn't up to code but I talked to the city about the supposed code on skylights and talked to the company that built the shed originally which they all said they are up to codeAfter telling them I didn't trust them and want them back on my property Vanessa said she was sorry about all the problems but the roofers were extremely sexist and didn't respect her managing the jobWhen her manager called me later that day he denied everything and tried to pressure me into letting him back on my propertyA couple days later the manager called me to offer me a discount for all of the hassle of having to deal with them which wasn't worth everything I had to deal withWhen they called for the final payment it was more than they had originally billed to insurance, I asked him why and he couldn't give me a answerThree business days later he called me back with the total he had billed out to insuranceI told them I would not pay them until I had talked to my insurance adjuster to make sure I had all of the paper workMy insurance adjuster sent me a email that said she had received additional paper work and was out of town for the next week and would finalize it all when she was back in townDuring this time they continued to call and text me for payment when not everything had even been finalized by my insuranceThey threatened to send me to collections and were extremely rudeThe day my insurance agent emailed me back to say she was issuing The remaining balance they wanted there money so bad so that they came over at 9p to get itI would never recommend this companyI could continue to go on about the hassle of them and how terrible my shed looks when I never approved them to touch it
