Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.I believe there is some confusion here as to the protocols of insurance claimsUnless the insured is part of some special program offered by an insurance company, every insurance company will require a deductible be paid on a claimThe insurance company usually pays out the rest of the claimOnce the vehicle is in for repairs, if supplemental damage is found, the shop would send a revised estimate to the company for review.At this time, we have sent a check for the repairs to the complainant's vehicle minus her deductibleHowever, she remains responsible for the $left over cost to the shop for repairsWe understand her frustration with the process but this is all very industry standard.Thank you, [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.Per the claim notes, an offer was extended to the claimant in the file and she refused the offerThe adjuster mentioned that she became upset and kept bringing up her personal issues she is currently experiencingThe adjuster advised this is the best offer we can extendThe claimant said we will hear from her attorneyOur adjuster then sent the offer letter via USPSAs for the shops issue with a supplemental estimate, I can assure you that if we received the estimate, it would be reviewed and handled by the claim team for payment.At this time, it is up to the claimant to decide on what she would like to do.Thank you, [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint[redacted] was not listed on the original claim so we would not have known to reach herTurns out, the vehicle damaged is owned by the complainantOn 12/21, we advised her that there is a coverage issue since the car is hers but someone else was driving it when the accident occurredThe adjuster advised that she and her cousin, the driver, must complete the accident report and uninsured driver forms and return them to us ASAP to move forward with the claimAppraiser assignment is in process and the adjuster will notify the complainant when assignment occurs.Thank you, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The Adjuster did not contact meI called their officeThe adjuster told me that the estimate for repairs had not been approved at that time, and I was confused, because the week before he told me that it would be about business days before my car would be done, then he stated that he was just reading notes on the account and transferred me to someone named [redacted] voicemail, in which I left a voicemailI called [redacted] back the next day, and was told that she was going to submit the release for repairs that day, [redacted] the place that is going to do the repairs stated that they did not have the release at the time I called, and that the estimate quoted to me is not the total charge of what the repairs would be once they access the damages and begin workI have been without my car for 1/month, missing days of work due to not having money to continue to rent a carI have been stressed by this situation all because Unique didn't want to provide the service I paid forUnique also failed to inform me that [redacted] has sent them a letter offering to pay for half the damages in which I shouldn't have to pay the $deductibleUnique is a very shady and underhanded operation, and should not be allowed to be in business Sincerely, [redacted]
