Total disappointment
Total disappointment! I ordered a watch in October 2020 and was not informed that they did not have the model in stock. After correspondence they asked for a down payment which I sent by bank transfer. I was informed to wait 3 months. After 3 months after I asked what was going on I was informed that I would receive soon. Again correspondence and always on my initiative and in the end they admitted that they could not deliver my order. To this day I am waiting for a refund when their response is that they do not compensate for the mental anguish which caused me and will not reimburse me for the expenses which the bank owes me!In their impudence to this day advertise for sale the watch model I wanted and even though I commented to them then I was told it would be updated and the refund could not be sent because of "strong winds" in their environment ?!AuthenticWatches' answers are always very polite but they are empty and unreliable! I'm still waiting to get my money! At least!

I had my eyes on the Omega Planet Ocean for a while and tried it on a couple of times in the boutique shopI did extensive research online before I go with Authentic WatchesIt wasn't an easy decision to pay this amount of money online, especially when I live in Dubai and not USA, but Authentic Watches customer service was top notchThey called me to confirm the order, model and addressThe watch was on my wrist in less than daysI took it to the boutique shop to adjust it's strap size and they confirmed that it's original and brand new, and adjusted the strap for free I know when it comes to luxury watches, most people are skeptic of online retailers, but authentic Watches are the real deal

This client is not a client of ours His timepiece was never purchased from us The client has a watch that is 40-years oldThe client had called, and asked if we can get him an estimate for the service and refinishing of his timepiece The estimate for service was $442, and he opted for the optional refinishing service of $ He paid a total of $ The timepiece was serviced, refinished, tested, and returnedBecause the timepiece has decades of wear, it is impossible to refinish it to perfectionAs indicated to the client , the refinishing service will be to restore it "as best as possible:"The function of the timepiece was tested prior to return to the client, and the timepiece was indeed fully functional If the client is experiencing issues with the timepiece post-service, he is free to return the timepiece to us, and we will send it to the dealer for evaluation We will not reimburse this client for any sum of money

We are sorry to hear the client is displeased This client feels that this particular policy should be prominentHowever, there are several policies which we have in place that affect different clients in different waysThis client feels that the special order cancellation policy should be prominently displayed on every itemOther clients may feel that more information on the warranty should be on every item pageStill other clients may feel that the our payment limits should be on each pageThe simple fact is that every client will feel that their particular issue should have been mentioned on the item pageRegrettably, we are not able to list pages of policies all over each item pageThat is why we have multiple links to our policies on every page of the website, and require that they be agreed to upon checkoutWe would like to stress that our system will not allow checkout to be completed until our policies, including the one being reference by this client, are agreed uponOne thing we do prominently display on each item page is the in stock status or special order lead timeWe did indeed display this on the web page of the itemIt was displayed in two places on the item page, in red and in black Having displayed the lead time prominently, in two separate places and colors, in the most conspicuous areas of the item page; the client failed to read itHad we had the ability to post only the policy he is stating should be posted, it would be far less conspicuous than the red lettering at the top of the page, next to the price, stating "USUALLY SHIPS WITHIN MONTHS"It is unlikely that having posted said policies on said page would have made any difference in the outcome of this transactionIn regards to the analogy utilized, no cashier will cite all aspects of the return policy upon checkout at any retail establishment We are sorry to hear this client is upset, or feels that he has been misledWe did indeed mention the lead time prominently, and do indeed have a system which forces an agreement to the policies prior to checkout, do indeed have a link to all policies prominently displayed on every site page, and our policies do indeed cite a 10% cancellation fee on a special order itemsAccordingly, we are unable to provide this client a full refundThank you

I purchased a Tag Heuer watch from Authentic Watches in July All Tag watches come with a two year warranty as standardAuthentic Watches offered me an additional warranty which I declinedHowever the watch has a manufacturing fault (one of the rose gold numerals has fallen off the face)so I approached Tag and was told they needed the warranty cardAuthentic Watches refuse to give me this as they say I must send it from the UK to the States for them to send it on to TagThis will cost me for return delivery, insurance and taxAs far as I am concerned no manufacturers fault should mean a customer has to incur costs in having it resolvedAuthentic Watches have been extremely rude to me by email and seem to think that it is perfectly acceptable that it should cost me in excess of GBP to have the goods that I purchased put back to working order whilst within the warranty period The laws that they keep throwing at me state quite clearly that they can only be applied if 'r

Best watch buying experience ever I will always buy from them from now on

I've bought several watches from them in the $10k rangeThey have great prices and excellent serviceThe watches ship fast and they are the genuine thingI will buy more from them in the future

This client returned his timepiece for service, and the timepiece did indeed require a movement maintenance service, which is not covered under warranty as clearly outlined in our warranty policies, as well as on the client's warranty cardThe client requested that the timepiece be recalled with no services renderedThere has indeed been a delay in returning the timepieceWe have spoken with the dealer and he has informed us that the timepiece is now en route backOnce received, the client's timepiece will be returned to the client in the same condition in which it was receivedThank you

Great deals, complete with an amazing service I bought a timepiece (Breitling watch) from AuthenticWatches and have had an amazing experienceThey not only provide great deals on timepieces but also go above and beyond to make sure you get the delivery on time and, when it breaks, make sure your watch will get repaired thoroughly in every step of the way This is perhaps the best service I've experienced thus far, and I'm planning to buy more timepieces from AuthenticWatches

This client did indeed purchase a timepiece from our companyThe timepiece was shipped via FedEx and received by the client The client removed all the tags from the timepiece, and the timepiece was worn The client did indeed call to report a problem with the GMT hand, and we did indeed inform him we would do our best to have the service rushed A Bell and Ross timepiece typically takes 6-weeks to service This client called us weeks after it arrived in our facility demanding a full refund, and threatening a charge dispute (repeatedly) He also repeatedly threatened negative reviews, as well as this Revdex.com complaint, if we did not comply with his demands and issue him a full refund on his used watchWe are not able to issue a full refund on the client's used timepieceThis client has agreed to our policies posted online, which clearly articulate that once the tags have been removed, or the timepiece is worn, it cannot be returned for a refundIn addition, the client has set an arbitrary time frame for which he demands that we issue a refundWe are unable to comply with arbitrary time-frames set up by clients, as the service procedure is through the manufacturer, and not under our controlThe condition of the clients timepiece is as follows: The strap has been bent to the point of permanent notching on the rubber strapThe buckle has been scratchedThe case has been scratchedAs the timepiece was not returned brand new, we are unable to issue a full refund, notwithstanding threats of negative feedback ratings, or fraudulently based charge disputesWe are sorry, however, we are not able to offer this client a full refund on his used timepiece, and a refund has been issued less the depreciation on a used watch

Very good watch and great priceFast shippingThank you

I purchased a watch on the website but didn't notice that the item was not in stockA few days later after I wired the money to the seller, I noticed that they don't have the item and I have to wait up to months to get the item I called customer service to cancel the order but was told that it was a special order so I have to pay a 10% cancellation feeHowever, neither the no-in-stock status nor the 10% cancellation fee is mentioned in the check out pageThe customer service told me that the 10% cancellation fee is hidden in their store policy when I check the buyer agreement upon checkoutI went back to the checkout page and there is a tiny link on store policyAfter clicking on the link, I had to go through a large number of detailed rules for almost an hour to finally identify the policy on the 10% cancellation fee The seller is not honest when they are aware of the cancellation fee but not explicitly listing them on the checkout pageInstead, they hide the policy u

My wife purchased an Omega Seamaster from Authentic Watches for a gift After the first month, the watch stopped working After having it sent in, the company claimed there was nothing wrong with it and sent it back and implied that it had not been wound properly A few months later, the same problem again and again the company could not find any problem Fed up, I took the watch to an Omega retail dealer to have them look at it They at least acknowledged there was a problem and sent it in to their repair facility They replaced the parts (at a cost of $500) and warrantied the parts It has been several months since then and the watch has had no problems since then It's clear that Authentic Watches uses substandard parts in these watches Buyer beware and I would recommend not conducting any business with this company

This client returned her timepiece for serviceAll items being returned must be accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of $for return shippingThis client included a $check as instructed, which subsequently bounced The client asserts that our policies do not have a clause indicating that there will be a $fee assessedThe client is being dishonest, as I myself, over the phone, directly assisted herI stayed on the phone with her, pointed out where it states that in our policies, and stayed on the phone while she verbally read back the part listed on our policies Here is a link to our policies: http://www.authenticwatches.com/info.html Here is the applicable text, verbatim: "Buyer will be responsible for any bank fees resulting from returned checks or bank wire transfers, as well as fees incurred from collections." H The client is aware that we cannot accept a credit or debit card for return shipping feesOur policies on this are clear, and have been in place since the inception of our organization We are frankly a bit surprised to hear that the client has levied the blame on our organization for having written us a bad checkShe at first accused us of being dishonest in her reply, asking us to email her a copy of the bounced check and bank noticeUpon accommodating her request, she has spent days calling and complaining to us, attempting to shift the blame for the fact she wrote us a check for $which bouncedIt is unreasonable to expect that writing a bad check will not result in any feesThe client is now upset that it would take too long to obtain a money order to remit payment The time spent on attempting to evade fees and circumvent the instructions provided is far greater than the time it would take to mail in a new payment Money orders can be purchased at Supermarkets, convenience stores, and all post offices within minutesWe certainly understand that the client wishes to find a more expeditious methodThe best way to have avoided any delays was to have not submitted a bad checkTechnically, under California law, the writing of a bad check results in the following which can be assessed: CA Civil Code § 1719(a)(2) Amount due, damages of the amount so owing, but in no case less than $or more than $1, CA Penal Code 476a also lays out criminal penalties for writing of a bad check. This client must remit payment in the form of a money order in the amount of $($for the original amount, plus $for our bank fees.) As a general courtesy, we only charge the bank fees, although we are legally entitled to damages of no less than $Once payment is received, the RMA suspension will be lifted We will not accept payment via any means other than a money orderThank you

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Again, after over THREE MONTHS they have not fixed a defective product or offered a solution other than paying them $for a "complete overhaul" of a luxury watch less than a year old--they are able to send a lengthy retort to my complaint within ONE HOUR...truly impressiveIf they had this same level of dedication to their customers' issues, there were be no complaints whatsoever In the words of Shakespeare: "Methinks thou doth protest too much." THESE GUYS ARE CRIMINALS, SWINDLERS, YOU NAME IT--UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE I will take their points in order: #1: True, I am NOT a certified watchmaker nor repair specialist That said—I have never owned a watch—or any item—that needed a “complete overhaul” after less than a year of pampered usage If I have ever had an issue—especially with a item of this price point—the company has taken care of it accordingly In addition, Authenticwatches.com will neither divulge who these so-called “authorized” repair specialists are, nor will the allow a customer to actually speak to the technician I was told this was not possible This leads me to question whether or not these are indeed authorized, or even qualified#2: Again—glib response, kicking up questionsThe reality is this: this watch has been pampered since I received it; has never been so much as dropped, gotten wet, etc furthermore, it doesn’t matter what the item is—a watch, a car, or a lawn mower—the expectation is that the product work under conditions for AT LEAST A YEAR this didn’t even make it months before I had to return it True, things happens in the product world when they do, the seller should take care of it—especially with their warranty which clearly is bogus#3: Again, calling me a liar the fact that someone told me they were the “owner” wasn’t asserted to help my case or make a difference whatsoever it was incidental and it was TRUE Of course, you can say “call us and ask for the owner” and you won’t get him however, I originally asked to speak to a manager when I did and the guy was belligerent and unhelpful, I asked to speak to someone at an even higher level At that point, he said, “It doesn’t get any higher I’m the owner.” So, whether he was lying or not is not for me to say, but it is emblematic of how this company operates that they would paint a consumer trying to get his watch fixed as “fabricating” a story Pathetic#4: It’s simple; an A+ rating for anyone who treats their customers in this fashion is misleading at best Granted their rating algorithm is based on a multitude of factors—ANY company that behaves in the way AUTHENTICWATCHES.COM does should not receive such a high and vaunted ratingit’s misleading and lowers the value of the good work that Revdex.com does, as well as those companies truly deserving of a strong grade These criminals (and yes, they are behaving in such a manner) don’t deserve that#5: Let me be clear—I did not say the “warranty was criminal”—(THERE THEY GO—TWISTING WORDS )—I asserted (and stand by it), their BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE CRIMINAL At this point, I’m not even sure that the watch they sent is nothing more than a replica I have attached the letter from Longines who (of course) cannot control the sales over the internet They have, however, provided me the name of a local specialist for them who will verify the merchandise and fix it In the end, they still have my watch; sold me a piece of defective merchandise that stopped working; found loopholes in the warranty; and will not divulge who their so-called “authorized dealers/repairers” are Really—is that an A+ rated company??? If so, it’s time to change your system Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I purchased a new watch, not a used watch I was in possession of the watch for months when it began losing time Why would an month old watch require maintenance? According to Tag Heuer's website, "We recommend a maintenance service after years or a failed water-resistance test." Furthermore, Authenticwatches.com asked for $for maintenance on my watch Tag Heuer's website list cost for maintenance service for a mechanical chronograph watch from $- $ Obviously, Authenticwatches.com is making excuses to not honor their warranty they falsely advertise on their website and charge their customers additional charges for what should be covered under their warranty Regards, J [redacted]

I had a wonderful experience with Authentic Watches! I initially tried to purchase a Michele Serein All gold watch from Jomashop.com THEY ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH They made many promises and kept none of them They had me on the hook for weeks and then said their supply has no access to the watch I was looking for I immediately hung up and called Authentic Watches They had my watch in stock, for less money and I purchased it through Amazon and received an additional year of warranty I called in the afternoon of 9/10/and had the watch in my hands the morning of 9/12/ NOW THAT IS AWESOME SERVICE!!! I will be back to Authentic Watches for my next watch purchase!

We are very sorry this client feels as he doesTimepieces are indeed rated water resistantHowever, the warranty does not cover moisture damage as outlined in our policies and warranty card, as outlined in our previous replyIn the overwhelmingly vast majority of cases, moisture enters the case because clients do not securely tighten the screw down crown when changing the time or date, leaving a timepiece vulnerable to moisture infiltration and subsequent damage We have explained this to the client via telephone, however, the client simply responded with threats of negative reviews, demanding we cover it free of chargeWe are unable to alter our policies due to threats of retributionThis client has again stated that the timepiece was not exposed to waterThis is simply not possibleAs outlined in our previous communication, water cannot spontaneously appear inside a watch, and the mechanism of the timepiece does not have the ability to manufacture water from scratchThe assertion that this timepiece has not been exposed to water is simply not correctA link to our warranty policies is clearly posted on every page of our websiteFurther, our system does not allow a client to checkout until they have read and agreed to said policies We are sorry, however, we will not be able to service this client's timepiece under warrantyThe client may remit payment as outlined in the estimate, or can opt to recall the timepiece and have it assessed and serviced on his own accordThank you

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I'm not arguing that the seller failed to display whether an item is in stock of under special orderWhat I'm arguing is that the seller failed to properly notify the MAJOR consequences associated with an special order itemIn regards to the analogy utilized, no cashier will cite all aspects of the return policy upon checkout at any retail establishmentHowever, if the item is not an ordinary, such as a final sale (as in my case, a special order), the cashier would inform that the item cannot be returnedDisplaying an item is not in stock is not the same as saying the item has different return policy as other items which is advertised to have no restocking fee Regards, J [redacted] ***

I purchased a watch for my husband for Christmas one year with the help of Peter at Authentic Watches The watch my husband wanted wasn't available and Peter suggested that I order a different watch for my husband to open on Christmas and then return it and order the watch he wanted (which might take a few weeks to be in stock) I did that and promptly sent the watch back and ordered the correct watch I was not issued a refund because without an exchange I was told I'd incur a restocking fee Then we waited for the watch we wanted to become available And waitedAnd waited When Authentic Watches called months later to tell me the watch was finally available, they also reported it was selling at a higher price We decided not to purchase the watch at the higher price and asked that I be refunded for the watch I purchased and immediately returned months earlier I asked that I not be charged the restocking fee I did not receive a refund I called my credit card company and issued a complaint They contacted Authentic watches and were told there was no information on my transaction I have an order number but when I called Authentic Watches myself, I was told they wouldn't discuss the matter because my credit card company had gotten involved They said I would be hearing from their "legal department" That was two years ago They were uncooperative with my credit card company who eventually dropped the claim Needless to say, I paid $for a watch I don't have The initial service appeared to be good, however, it turned into a nightmare I would even have accepted the ability to make an exchange now
