https://www.authenticwatches.com/authenticwatches-warranty.html I purchased a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec watch for about $4,from AuthenticWatches.com in February The watch has stopped winding via the rotor mechanism, I sent it for service and they have denied my warranty claim, claiming that the watch is not defective but instead needs a full "movement overhaul" at a cost of $1,The watch has never been dropped or damaged in any way, it can't possibly be anything other than the result of a manufacturing defectI have requested that Authentic Watches return the watch to me without servicing

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:I did not call hours laterWhen I called the lady I spoke to said it had been received by then but not fully processedI was told they were going to go ahead and process so they could charge me a return feeAs I mentioned the items never left their storeIf it did they need to provide a tracking number to show thisThey can call me a liar but those are the factsThese guys are a bunch of crooksI am also reporting them to chronothe web site I located this merchant onIf this is not resolved I will get them pulled from that site Their web pages's have a bold statement that their is no re stocking feeYou have to dig into the fine print to see differentlyThis sis advertisingI will continue to pursue this until it is resolvedIf needed I will file a police report for theft with the police in your area.
If they do no want to refund this amount then have them send me the watch

This client did indeed purchase a timepieceHe wore the timepiece for two weeks, and then contacted us to inform us that the timepiece had ceased to function.
Although we certainly understand the client's frustrations and desire for a new timepiece, we cannot exchange the
timepiece for the client once it has been used or wornThis would be the exact same scenario had he purchased it directly from CartierOnce a timepiece is worn, it falls under the warranty, not return policy, and must be serviced under warranty.
We are sorry, however, we can neither exchange, nor refund, this client's timepieceIt is currently undergoing warranty service, and will be returned to the client once service has been completed

I purchased a Tag Heuer Carrera watch from Authentic Watches on March 3, Thirteen months later, the watch stopped keeping accurate time I shipped the watch to AW for repair On May 24, 2018, I received an email from AW informing me the watch "requires a complete overhaul, which is a movement maintenance service not covered under our warranty" The cost of the repair will be $ It should be noted, if I purchased this same watch from an Authorized Tag Heuer dealer, the watch is warrantied for two years AW, who is not an authorized Tag Heuer dealer, gave me a five year warranty On a side note, AW is currently offering a free Lifetime warranty for the same watch I called Tag Heuer USA and spoke with one of their representatives I was told there is no reason why the watch shouldn't be working properly after only months I was also told Tag Heuer would have fixed the watch, regardless of the issue, if it was within the two year window and purchased from an autho

This client returned a timepiece for serviceThe timepiece requires a movement maintenance serviceOverhauls, or movement maintenance services, are required from time to time on any timepiece (or any machine, for that matter.) This client asserts that his other timepieces did not require a
maintenance We cannot opine on the status of the client's other timepieces, nor do their lack of service necessity have any bearing on the fact that this particular timepiece requires service The frequency with which a service is required is contingent primarily on wearIn this case, the client has had the timepiece for nearly three years, which is well into the time a service is required on an automatic timepieceFinally, this client contends that the cost of service is too highService is performed at our costThe client has asked that we recall the timepiece, and we have done so today in accordance with his requestIf this client has the timepiece assessed and serviced by a service center authorized to service Baume et Mercier timepieces, he will find the cost to be equal to or greater than the cost given by us The client's timepiece has been recalled and will be returned to the client with no services rendered on the mechanism of the timepiece (he had prepaid to have the exterior of the timepiece cleansed; prepaid services are automatically performed.) We are sorry, however we are not able to cover any movement maintenance service as outlined in our policies, which the client agreed to, that can be found at the following link:

Great deals, complete with an amazing service
I bought a timepiece (Breitling watch) from AuthenticWatches and have had an amazing experienceThey not only provide great deals on timepieces but also go above and beyond to make sure you get the delivery on time and, when it breaks, make sure your watch will get repaired thoroughly in every step of the way
This is perhaps the best service I've experienced thus far, and I'm planning to buy more timepieces from AuthenticWatches

Place a special order, on a limited edition watch After a month I emailed to confirm about the watch, AuthenticWatches confirmed they are having trouble sourcing the watch, so I asked about switching the order to a in stock item Received a call right away, and I paid the difference between the watches and received my watch, all wrapped in the plastic, with tags and warranty card I am very happy with my purchase

I purchased a Baume and Mercier Classima from AuthenticWatches.com a year ago and had a defect with one of the dialsAfter sending the watch back for repair, I received a hefty repair cost for what should be a standard fix
I called Peter at AuthenticWatches to determine why the repair was not under warranty when the Baume and Mercier factory warranty clearly states all manufacturing defects are covered free of charge for the first monthsNot only was Peter belittling on the phone and unprofessional, but when I asked why my repair was not covered he stated how I forewent my factory warranty by agreeing to the AuthenticWatches warranty when I purchased the watchAfter rereading the terms of the AuthenticWatches warranty it is clear that AuthenticWatches purposely leaves common fixes off of their warranty to make money on their repairs
I will never buy another watch from AuthenticWatches againAuthenticWatches business model is a scheme to get people to buy watches for cheap and then when an inevitable fix occurs, to hit their customers with crazy high repair costsAVOID BUYING FROM HERE AT ALL COST

This client has returned a timepiece a year and three months after purchase for serviceAll items being returned for service must be accompanied by $to cover the costs of return shippingThis is outlined in our RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) instruction email, on the RMA form, in our
warranty policies, and on the warranty card. This client did indeed return the timepiece weeks after purchase (also without the return shipping fee at the time) demanding a refundHowever, the timepiece had very heavy signs of wearThe issue at the time was that the second hand had come loose from the post from an impact, making it impossible to tick properlyEven though damage of this nature is not covered under warranty, we covered the service, and the return shipping fee as a customer courtesyA year later, the client called back citing his timepiece was not working, and was issued an RMA to return the timepiece for serviceThe item again arrived without payment for the return shipping feeWe immediately notified the client that the return shipping fee was required in order to process the RMA, however, the client did not submit the paymentThe system defaults a "lead time" in these casesThe client called for an update, and a representative did indeed erroneously inform the client that the date of an anticipated update was the third week of June
We do apologize for the inconvenience caused by the one mis-communication at the time of that one phone callHowever, the client has not remitted payment for the return shipping as of yet, and when we informed him that the RMA is suspended pending said payment, he replied to our representative with a slew of threats and profanity, and hung up the telephoneThis client must remit payment for the return shipping fee in accordance with the return procedures which the client has agreed to at the time of checkout, as well as the time of submission of the timepieceThis is also in accordance with multiple instructions, as well as reminder emailsOnce the payment for return shipping is received, the timepiece will be shipped to the service center for assessmentThank you

Great companyThey were very helpful and friendly, saved me a lot of money, and I got my watch the very next dayCouldn't be happier!

I am French and I am very very happy with my purchase on your website
Quick, professionnal, all is ok

We are truly sorry that the client feels (or, at least, project such feelings) that there is some nefarious plot at play, or that there is "word twisting" taking place when a matter of fact recap of the events having taken place is reported.
We are a very large corporation, and have been in business for yearsWe can assure this client that there is no evil plot to steel links and damage items being perpetuated by us, nor the authorized dealer, nor the manufacturer The client insinuates that there are "other" motivesWe assure you, we have far better things to do with our time, as does our authorized dealer, as does the manufacturerWe are unable to "give" the client "something" based on his inaccurate portrayals of our business, nor based on his accusations of theft of pieces of his timepiece.
Thank you

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
The watch was never worn as described in the merchant's responseThe merchant is assuming that the watch was being worn immediately upon delivery, which his is not the caseI ordered the watch and had it delivered in advance of my Anniversary to avoid any potential delays in shipping and not having it in time to gift it to my wifeThe day I received the watch, I locked it in my safe at home, unopened until the day I gifted it to my wifeThe watch was found to defective the day I gifted it, and once it was discovered, I notified the merchant right awayThe watch was never worn, not even for day.
The bottom line for me is that the advertised BRAND NEW watch was found to be defectiveThe merchant was notified immediately upon discovering this fact for resolutionThe merchant sent the watch for service, confirming it was defective and now wants me to accept a defective-but-repaired watch instead of the new, factory functioning watch that I paid for.
My expectation in dealing with a merchant that is selling luxury goods is that of a high level of customer service and standing by the productWhat I have experienced is a merchant that instead of doing what it takes to make this right, would rather argue and make claims as to my description of the chain of eventsLastly, It has been nearly days nowI have paid over $3,for a luxury watch, had to pay $to ship it back, was told I would have an update by 9/and have not had call or message with an update so farI have zero confidence in this merchant and am once again requesting a full refund without exception.
Time is of the essenceIn the event a refund is not received within business days of delivery of this complaint , I will pursue legal action for resolution

Complaint: 10866755Hopefully this exchange will serve as warning that this vendor advertised and took an order for an item he can't or would not deliver

Received my new Breitling Superocean II 44($4150-$retailers) the very next day Paid $(no tax) with AWTook it in to a Breitling store to have it sized, they confirmed it Is a true BreitlingI was very hesitant about ordering a watch online Saved me at least 800$, no one would come close to AW's price Very satisfied at this pointThank you

I purchased A Breitling watch on sept from this company(order No AW 99414)
Then it was broken with no reason just within less than 2months(it ran so fast like minutes every hours)It was sent to you and fixed, but again within a couple of month after that it was broken againThis time, "the hour number" in the window does not work properly and looked loosenI was so frustrated about that I barely used for a long time since then and I just kept it in the watch winderRecently I noticed that it was getting worse with totally broken hour numbers
After a thorough examination by their technician, it has been determined that my watch requires a complete movement maintenance serviceI was told that it is not covered under still active my 3year warrantyThe cost for the required service is $1,They did not provide the exact reason it will not be covered
I complained about this issue to them but the only answer was " just remit payment or it will be return to me

Okay, I bought my watch, Omega planet ocean $4200, from the seller
After I received it I took off all the tags and stickers, but at that time, I found out there is a tiny crack on my dialAnd I asked to them to fix it, and sent back my watch to them
After days, they said "it is fixed" and I didn't pay for it because it was manufacture defect
After I got the repair-serviced watch, I found out they made a huge crack on my watch's back caseI sent the pictures of my watch to the seller, and it looks like they already knew about it
They said " it could happen, when the omega service center open the back case with a tool, and it doesn't devalue your watch."
I can't accept their opinionIt devalue my watch in anyway! I just wear my watch about hours, and it already has a huge crack which is made by seller and repair center's mistake
So I asked them to give me information about the repair-center, that they called "omega service center", so I could contact the

Bought an Oris Artelier Complication watch from this store in September 2017(Order# 2***9)After months, of screws that hold the rotor bridge fell out of the movement and stuck into the balance wheelI contacted them and was required to send that watch back to them for repair, then I paid around $for shipping cost (back and forth) from Canada on May 30, After weeks, I got my watch back on July 22, 2018, and noticed that these guys did not repair my watchThey took the screw out of the balance wheel, but instead of putting it back into the movement, THEY THREW IT AWAY( YES THEY THREW OF ONLY SCREWS THAT HOLD THE ROTOR BRIDGE AWAY), so the rotor is loose and my watch keeps losing timeContacted these guys right away, but they avoid to do the replacement for this watchThey asked me to send the watch to them again for repairing and offered that they will cover $out of the shipping cost this timeIt's unacceptable because it's clearly their fault for sending

I bought a watch through authentic watches and it wasn't working although it was completely sealed and untouched in packaging They worked with me to get it repaired and although it took longer than they said it was eventually fixed They kept good communication throughout the experience
