Hi *** ***I met with you a couple of weeks ago, and trusted that my sales *** would rectify the the situationI did not know that you were still having issues, but I hear your complaint and will do some further research on the matter and come to a solution that will be
satisfactory to you. With regard to the vehicle that was purchased from you, it wasn't actually a trade-in, it was purchased from you outside of this purchase, and as such, was not entered into my system properly where I could see it and pay for it. I believe that I resolved that situation with you and the bank received their funds and have released title to me. I will be in contact with you shortly regarding your warrantyYou may reach me directly at *** *** *** if you have any questions that come up in the meantime*** ***

To Whom This May Concern,
I am writing in response to the ID ***
The response the Dealer Autos Direct is claiming that I owe them $1,000.
I would think they would have made a call to me immediately about that if that were the caseI have no cell service where I am taking care of my mother, not only that there is voice mail that I do have someone check regular
I have attached the Buyers Order and I don't owe anythingI cannot believe I am being involved in some type of scam or something
I kept up my end of the deal, I don't have time for this my mother is dying and I need my title so that I have transportation

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Mr*** said in his message that the amount financed was 16,300.00, and this is not trueSee the attached .pdf, and it shows that the amount financed is $17,983.62, thats a far cry from $16,especially at 20% interest over a month termI would be happy if MrRuiz would rewrite the contract to reflect the $16,as the balance due/financedThe number he says it was financed at is different from the attached and I feel as if that is what he stated it to be, then he should make it exactly that, balance due/financed at $16,300.00, is this fair? It is too some extent, but again, in my opinion, is not in any way a clean retail trade inIn any event, please resolve the problem by bringing me back in and rewriting the contract to reflect the $16,as the amount financed

The Revdex.com spoke with *** from the businessShe states that the issue was with the price of tags and titleThe car was purchased in VA but the customer lives in Ohio, there is a difference in those taxesAfter this the customer was refund the amount he paid for VA so that he could get this taken
care of in the location the vehicle will be located

Took car back because they couldn't find a lender and kept my down payment now I have no car or money it is causing a real hardship on me and my family no way for husband or myself to get to work was working with one car

This vehicle was sold to *** *** on June 24, *** *** was approved for financing based on the information she provided on her application She took delivery of the vehicle and was driving it for about a month, during which time our funding department attempted to obtain her
paystubs for her proof of incomeThe paystubs that were provided were out of date*** *** refused to comply with this request and failed to provide any solid proof of income within the required time frame Because of this, her financing fell through When this occurs, it is imperative that the dealership recovers our collateral as soon as possible to avoid additional loss, wear and tear, mileage accrual, etc I am not aware of anyone cursing or otherwise disrespecting *** ***Although I will say that when customers become confrontational on the property and refuse to comply with the necessary paperwork needed to fund their loan, employees will at times become defensive and confrontational themselvesThis is not acceptable behavior by any means, but my employees are only human and can only take so much abuse before they start dishing it out themselvesI am certain that *** *** was not cursed for coming in and turning in the keys.
It is true that the original salesperson was terminatedAnd it is true that we discovered theftWe also discovered that he was conspiring with customers to defraud the dealership and our lending institutions by stating they made more income than they actually madeWe have an absolute zero tolerance policy for this fraud, and we had to back out several deals when he was terminated There is a court case pending, and I am not at liberty to provide any additional information, but the company has been through enough With regard to a down payment refund, *** *** had the vehicle for one monthShe had full use of the vehicle for this time Furthermore, there is a processing fee of $which is not refundable once the processing of the deal has begun and has been in process for thirty days My system shows a total of $cash downThis is what the dealership actually received*** *** was unable to provide a cash receipt (not a copy of the buyer's order) for the amount she claims she put down If I have proof that *** *** put $cash down as she claims, I will consider refunding the down payment, less the processing fee of $Even if she has no written receipt, I will consider a simple ATM withdraw receipt or bank withdraw receipt within the time frame she bought the vehicle (day window) as proof and refund $

Liars and CrooksBought a $17,vehicle that needed brakes within days and a couple hundred miles drivenThe *** says *** just put new brakes on in September, ONE MONTH before I bought a car supposedly sitting on a lotNas said he would take care of me face to face, after weeks not being able to reach him I was told it was sold and brakes aren't under the extended warranty I boughtThey also told me at the time of sale that the bank agreed to my terms, no payment for days, weeks after buying I got the invoice for the 1st month due days after purchaseWorst experience ever, I had a bad feeling before I signed but didn't follow my gutThey rushed me to sign the paperworkOne of my biggest regretsDON'T GO HereWarn friends and family

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
They are lying regarding everything that was saidI gave them every piece of information they requested on the *** and THEY did not get the paperwork to the bank on timeI contacted the bank and the bank did not even know about a loan for it and so therefore I took the *** backI NEVER caused a scene and if you knew me, you would realize that I don't have it in me to cause a sceneThey gave me the $back because there was never a dealI am not even discussing that car at this time because it is over
Secondly, I did take the car off of the propertyI live approximately miles from the dealershipI left the dealership with the car on a Saturday (where yes *** was in a hurry to get the paperwork done and if you reviewed their files you would see that I signed paperwork on the wrong car)I drove the car away from the company and was told to bring it back on Monday and they would fix any issues since the maintenance department was closedI drove the car Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to work and to take my children to schoolI had my husband take the car on Thursday and he was told that I would have to put the remainder of the deposit down before they would even look at the carI then called them to tell them that the transmission light was on and it would not go into reverseI finally got the car back down to the dealership and they basically told me to wait until the vehicle was funded and then I could get it fixed because I had purchased a warranty but it wouldn't be funded for approximately five more daysThe car wouldn't even go into reverseI had nothing to get back and forth to work inThis company was rude to me, would not even let me take the car off the lotThey took the tags off of it and wouldn't let me drive it away...why should they keep my money? Yes I probably put miles on itI live miles from there and went there three times and back home twiceThe car was NOT filthy, it was filthy when they gave it to me, which should of been a signI have also contacted the Attorneys General office regarding this companyI believe they are ripping people off and selling cars to people that are problem cars and they know itI wish the Revdex.com would investigate how many people come in there about the vehicles being "lemons." This company took my $deposit and left me with nothingI told them all the problems wrong with the car and they refused to fix it, stating I would have to pay the additional deposit of $and also wait for five days until the "warranty kicked in." If they had fixed the transmission then and given me a loaner I would have been okay with that but they didn't want to do that and they refused to give me my $backAs far as me causing a scene, boy do they have that wrongI would also like to see a copy of the paperwork I signed since they refused to give it to me and also proof that the car was driven miles by me and it was dirtyI want my $back, all of itThey first offered me $at first and when I refused to take that then they said well I would get nothingThis company is really hurting the lower income individualWould love to have feedback of how many people let their car get repossessed due to the vehicle not running from this companyI understand its second chance financing but its not fail to hurt the less fortunate

Hello,This correspondence is in reference to a complaint submitted by *** *** regarding a *** *** purchased from our Cambridge Street location in October, 2015.I would first like to state that Eric R*** is no longer employed by Autos DirectHe was terminated in December 2015. Further,
it is outside of our sales policies and procedures to ever run a person's credit without them present at the dealership.I have pulled the file for Mr***I would like the opportunity to make things rightWe value all of our patrons, and rely on repeat business for our continued growth in the area I am willing to fix the A/C leakage, and I will provide Mr*** with a courtesy vehicle to drive if the repair will take more than a day for any reason.I am not a bank, but I do have access to a variety of lenders and I can explore re-financing options for Mr*** for him, but I would need him to be present at the dealership. This time, I would like for him to come to our Lafayette Boulevard location. This is located at Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22408. He may set up an appointment to come in with me directly via email or by calling 540-300-4540.Sarah JB***

The dealership (Autos Direct) called me once they received the complaint
but not to resolve any issuesMy sales guy (Tony) called me to say I left out things out of my complaint and that I should tell the whole story and not the just part of the storyHe was referring to the fact that they gave me a loaner car for the months that they had my car and that I was reimbursed for the batteryI informed him that I left out the latter because they refunded the money AFTER the complain was madThe delay in refund was the final straw before I made the complaint. I am currently, as I type this message, on hold with Autos Direct while they pull my information because I have a service warranty that suppose to be good for months but when I called to utilize it for repairs, I was told the warranty had expired and was canceled out by Autos Direct on 6/28/which is less than a month after it was purchased. Call me or email me if you need anything further

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Note to the Auto's Direct:
Obviously you
Sir are an individual who is incapable of either reading the complaint in
earnest or is limited in ability to comprehend the true nature of the
complaint
It is in
that observation I will point out once again the true issue of the complaint
If the truck
would have stayed in the mechanical state, at which it was when it left the
mechanic, we would have no issuesBefore it left the mechanic’s it had been completely
inspected by a certified *** mechanic, for whom they did duly note every
issue that was wrong with the truck, and a failed cylinder with blow by was not
amongst that listed as damage or issues in need of repair. The engine was completely tested and all
cylinders passed compression tests according to the mechanicAs we had
deposited $500.00, and were told it would be taken “off the market”, we had
every expectation that Auto’s Direct would not damage the truck in any way while
in their custodyBecause we’d already had the truck examined prior to our
purchase, there was no need of further mechanical inspection on Jan 18th
when we were there to finalize the purchaseWe are not *** mechanics, nor
claim to be, so inspecting for additional damage on that day or any other is
not something we are qualified to do.
This is why we insisted, in the first place, on having the truck
inspected prior to the sale
When we
purchased the truck we were of the understanding that the truck did smoke and
was difficult to start because of what we were lead to believe was the known issue,
that being the injectors needed to be replaced and the oil leaked for which we
were fully aware of from the mechanic’s assessment But what you Sir did not inform us of, was that
Auto’s Direct personnel did use and continued to use ether to start the engine when
you picked it up from the mechanic and throughout the entire week while it was
back on your lot after its return from the mechanic. You continued to use ether even after being explicitly
asked not to by both of us and by the *** mechanicThe mechanic even asked
your employees to not use ether as it would damage the engine and he was told
“they regularly use it in cold weather to start ***”The warning to NOT
use ether is thoroughly documented in a section of the *** *** manual, which happened
to be in the glove box of this very truck, and as an auto dealership you should
be well aware that the use of ether is something you nor your mechanics should ever
use on ***. However in this case it
was endorsed and performed regularly to show this truck that entire week even
while we had a $deposit on it to “hold” the truckThat Sir is gross
negligence on your part
You did not
practice due diligence while this truck was in your custody. You did not preserve the integrity of it for
a customer for whom had made a $deposit to hold the truck “as is” it was
when it left the mechanic!!! Your continued use of ether to start the engine
did result in damage to the engine for which a certified mechanic can and will
testify toSo I Sir will assure you this bad review process will continue
until Auto’s Direct pays for the damage they inflicted on our property
unbeknownst to usWe have paid over $16,to date in repairs but we are only
seeking reimbursement for the additional cost of the motor replacement which is
$7,We would never have had to pay that if you did not
used ether to start the engine!
For this, you Sir are liable!
Regards,
*** *** *** ***

With all due respect, this is one of the most creative ways I have seen someone trying NOT to pay their balance dueOur policy is to give copies of everything to the customer upon signingPerhaps your husband forgot these papersAnd if you were able to go in and get copies the very next day, as
you say you did, then it is QUITE likely that he forgotYou were not given the run around, by your own admission, Jeff handed you a folder with the paperwork.
The "temp car" that you were provided was a courtesy to youYou stated at that point that you had NO MONEY down, AND that you told the sales staff that you only make about $per month? Why would they let my collateral, a $10,000-$15,asset, drive off the lot if they KNEW the income situation or that there would not be ANY money down?
May I ask, HOW did you discover MOLD in the ventilation system? Do you have a quote from a service/repair shop? Do you have photos depicting any type of mold, etc?
Despite that fact, it looks like my sales staff were willing to work around that issue and pick out a different vehicle(That *** *** has since sold, and we haven't had any complaints from the buyer about smell, mold, water, etc.)
Regarding the $down payment, the price of the vehicle was a bit higher and ALSO, what you are not mentioning regarding your trade in is the fact that you were upside down in this loanSeverely upside downThat means you owed way more to the bank than the car was worth Some of the negative equity could be built into your loan, the remaining was to be your responsibility and we gave you time to come up with the fundsAgain, this was a COURTESY that was extended to youSeveral months have passed, we have not received any complaints regarding your *** *** UNTIL my accounts receivable clerk called your husband to inquire about the BALANCE DUE She was treated with complete disrespect, he stated that he didn't owe us any (explicit) money, that the car was a piece of junk and was currently IN THE JUNKYARDNot likely for a *** *** ***, but we've heard it all, especially when calling to collect balances past due.
Then lo and behold, the very next day, there is a complaint from you on the Revdex.com website Your finances are your personal business, but I find it odd, that you are alleging we committed some type of fraud to get this loan for you initially, but that you were able to get the entire loan refinanced within a month or so? This is all highly doubtful and sounds to me like you are grasping at straws to get out of paying what you oweI know about the integrity of my company, I stand behind my salespeople and my inventoryI value all of my customers and if ever they are having issues with their vehicles or some type of financial hardship wherein they are unable to pay their balance, I do what I can within my means to work with themHowever, when people spread blatant lies about my business or customer service, situations that I KNOW can not be true, I take the offensive Your balance is still dueI will NOT be contributing anything toward repairs that may, or may not existAccording to the owner of the vehicle, it is sitting in a junkyard somewhere somehow

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowWow I have never felt so defamed in all of my life. You
are right my finance is my business.
Yes! My husband told the guy who handled the financing that the
amount was wrong that it was $not $5000.
We figured there was an extra added that was in error. That is when the documents that were provided
to us where ripped out of our hands. We
were told by the financial guy “These are not for you and he ran right back
into the building”. At the same time
this was a Friday Evening and we were told they will dry out the truck because
water was found in it from them washing it as we were told. That Temp car was provided as a courtesy to
us I agree. After a couple hours we returned the car and
picked the truck up because it was ready and dry.
How I know there was MOLD in the ventilation System? We went to go somewhere that Saturday turned
on the heat. The vent blew right in my face. There was a strong smell of MOLD and Mildew
within a Minute I took on a full blown Asthma attack. Having to use my inhaler I could not get back
into the truck IM HIGHLY Allergic to
MOLD. YES I have doctor’s notes to prove
that. That is how I knew there was mold
in the system. Do I have pictures of
the mold NO. BUT… I DO HAVE PICTURES OF
THE WATER THAT WAS FOUND ON THE FLOOR AFTER IT WAS SO CALLED FIXED
Yes your staff was willing to work with us to purchase
another car off your lot. Thus is after
we requested to get our car back and was told that is a NO GO because the car
was already paid for to our bank. Which
turned out to be a lie. We had to come
back two weeks later to see what was going on that the payment was not made and
found that nothing was taken care of. So
we were lied to there. After that was
resolved. We thought we were done.
My Question to you. If
the car that we traded as you said [sic] “Severely upside down” Then
why did you not let us take it back upon returning the molded truck?
Also the price of the truck was marked at 14K the *** was marked online as 11K. For some reason my husband was charged $16,384 BEFORE THE FEES. Why was it advertised at 11K at the time and
now he was being charged $16,384? This
is advertisement on your website if you ask meThe *** broke down two weeks ago. Like I stated in my previous message my
husband has a disability and gets worked up easily. But I did hear the tail end of the
conversation when he told the clerk “It Belongs in the Junk Yard.” Do I have receipts to show it had to be
repaired YES I DO!
Also YES I DO have proof the car has been refinanced. I’m sorry you have such disbelief Not only
did we refinance it we knocked the interest rate way down and took off a whole
year.
I still do not understand something’s myself…
I have to say you did bring up a GREAT QUESTION… Why did your staff let someone walk off with
your collateral if they did not check for proof of income? Why did your staff not check the proof of
income? Every time I have purchased a
car in the past you always provide proofIf there is supposed to be a down payment why was the funds
not collected upfront before allowing someone to walk off with your collateral? All funds are always collected upfront hints
the term “DOWN PAYMENT” It’s not an AFTER PAYMENTMy husband in NO WAY miss guided your staff. I watched him tell the financial guy that he
had put down the wrong amount. He
pointed it out to him in the parking lot.
That is when the papers that were provided to us where taken away.
I’m still unclear as to why we owe $He told the guy and
I witnessed this that he had NO DOWN PAYMENT and was going to finance it
100%. Also why was the amount not brought up prior
to the sell ? and like I said why was the funds not collected then?
I would like to have the $Dismissed Any payment that is a Down payment is made upfront Nothing was mentioned and like I stated we were under the impression that the was placed to take off the difference of the sales price which was still way over the amount that was listed online
Regards,
*** ***

The above referenced vehicle was contracted and delivered on August 1, Some of the stipulations provided by the above customer were not sufficient and/or did not meet standards for funding the contractAt that time, *** contacted *** *** on several occasions, requesting updated documents
from her
We did not receive any update documentsBecause of this, we could not obtain financing
She was then contacted to bring the vehicle back to the dealership She came back to the dealership in September and stated that she couldn't bring the vehicle back as the temp tags had expiredA second set of temp tags was provided at that time and she was to bring the vehicle back to the dealership voluntarilyShe failed to comply with this requestHad she complied with that request, it is quite possible that a portion of her down payment would have been refundable, even though a "reciept for non-refundable deposit form" was in fact signed at the time of sale It was not until the beginning of October that we were able to retrieve the vehicle
There became additional costs associated with the repossession, such as towing costs, labor costs, fuel, etc.
Due to all of these costs, added to the reconditioning costs after the vehicle had been out for two months, detail, the depreciation due to mileage accrued, etc., Autos Direct has realized an expense GREATER than the $originally put down on the vehicle Repossession is the LAST route that we ever want to take, but unfortunately, we were not left with no other choiceThe deposit will not be refunded
