We’ve been growing our floral business for more than 30 years, making us experts in the flower delivery field.This Agreement applies to your use of this website as well as any services we provide, such as selling and delivering flowers and other products. I am rejecting this response because: The flowers were not left. You spent the whole next day calling the person they were for to try to deliver them to her. And I didn't complete the online order, I called before I finished and the person I spoke on the phone with completed my order for me. She could see what I was ordering and took over from there.  I DID NOT press the  "complete order" button or check any terms of service box

I am rejecting this response because it took 8 days to for the problem to reveal itself.  I believe the plant was dying prior to delivery.  I understand the statement made on the website regarding customer satisfaction.  My issue is that the plant was defective to begin with and it took a week to reveal the defect.  It took 8 days for the issue of excessive leaf dropping to show itself.  I made every effort explained by Avas to keep the plant alive, however the plant was dying when I received it and it wasn't identifiable.  I don't want a refund, I would like a plant that is healthy.

I am rejecting this response because:
I spoke to Rep. [redacted] and TOLD HIM what I wanted.  I never asked for an azalea.  If I could not have the dish garden, that should have been explained to me.  It absolutely was not, never, ever, ever.  This response is an absolute lie.  None of these charges was ever explained to me, not once.  This business is a sham.  No one in their right mind would pay $105 for what I got, not anyone.  I don't care where you say you got it.  It wasn't worth $20, and it was a joke.  They steal your money, pile on charges THAT WERE NEVER, EVER, EVER TOLD TO ME.  I do not make it a habit of contacting the Revdex.com to complain about businesses.  Everything I have said is the truth, and Ava's should be ashamed.  What a ripoff.  I will tell everyone I can think not to ever use them.  I wanted to take a picture of what I paid $105 for, but it would have been in poor taste, seeing as it was near the casket near everyone else's ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ARRANGEMENTS.  My poor friend is dead, and I felt like a cheapskate.  You charge $3.99 for a tiny little square piece of paper you call a card that a LOCAL florist hands out for free???????!!!!!!   Two tiny little skinny white RIBBONS like something you pull off the spool for a cheap Christmas gift you charge $3.99 apiece for???!!!  Are you kidding me? And I was never told of these charges.   You people are disgusting.  You make me sick.  I feel sorry for anyone who gets tricked into using you.  I am absolutely certain you are operating just under the parameters of the law, but you are immoral.  Like I said before, do a search anywhere in the country for local florists and who comes up???  Oh, my goodness!  It's Ava's.  They're local everywhere!!!!  Yeah, right.  Seems like I am far from the only one who has the same complaint about your scam.  I know for a fact other people have contacted the Revdex.com about you.  I hope you go out of business as soon as possible.

On 9/29/14, a refund in the amount of $13.95...

was issued(refunded - Amount: $13.95 vs Transaction [redacted]). Basket delivered had jam, fruits, apples, oranges, kiwis, sausage, crackers, popcorn in a basket. On 9/29, customer service representative offered a re delivery but customer explained that most of what was delivered was eaten. The flowers/plants/baskets shown online are representative of color scheme, look and feel, overall style, and value; however specific containers and or contents will vary in some cases due to floral designer interpretation, availability or need to meet our quality standards and it is filled to value. The above on line description does not indicated what the designer will use to create the basket but will fill it to it's value.  Since most of our products are perishable goods, we do not accept returns or cancellations and we typically do not issue refunds as there is a 50% restocking fee. We do not issue refunds for delivered products.

This beautiful arrangement will provide joy for a birthday, anniversary, get well or just because with no indication of the type or the amount of flowers that are to be used. It is filled by the florist to value. As offered, $20.00 in store credits has been issued as shown: Account Details Current Reward Points @47397 which are worth $23.70 and do not have an expiration date. Avas policy as shown within the Avas website: Item pictured is a depiction of an arrangement that we will make as similar as possible with the same look and feel. The florist used this recipie to fill the arrangement as requested: A vase with 5 red roses, 6 pink carnations, pink matsumoto, asters, 4 stems of purple stock and purple monte casino filled to value. We regret that you were unhappy with the receipt of your order. After reviewing your beautiful photo, and reviewing the recipe of this particular arrangement all flowers are represented accordingly. Therefore, your order has been approved and meets the Product Description as well as our Substitution Policies. I have attached a copy of both for your viewing. I am rejecting this response because: First of all, there is no mention on the Ava's Flowers of a price difference based on manner of delivery. Secondly, if this is really the reason for the price difference, why didn't any of the 5 people I spoke with about this, 2 of which were supposedly managers, once mention this as the reason. Every one of the people I talked to said it was because tulips are out of season and that I was given wrong information by the original person who took my order. Clearly there are excuses being made. The complaint of false advertising still stands regardless.

I am rejecting this response because I saw a copy of my order. The original order taker never had on order WHITE SYMPATHY VASE...therefore it was left open to the floral designer what to make.  And..I do believe there is nothing wrong with saying no   I do not want a certain flower..filler put in my arrangement. I did do that and once again the order taker didnt write that in notes.   I was also told via telephone by Antonio the "customer service expert" that if the florist does not have a flower...they call Ava's who in turn call the customer to okay substitutions. If this isn't correct..he should not say that. My phone conversation was recorded with Antonio. Ava's needs to listen to this "customer service expert" tell me that as well as promise a whole new arrangement being sent out last Wednesday. I have been ordering flowers a long time. Next time when a customer originally asks...is this like a 1-800-TELEFLORAL...Ava's needs to tell the truth. I would NEVER order through a third party!!!  I spent $160.00 on this sympathy arrangement. Nothing was given to me. I paid extra for ribbon and bow..didn't get that either. I do not understand why Ava's is taking the stand...that what I paid for I did not receive!!! Listen to the tape of mine and Antonio's conversation. You will hear what I was promised!!! Sometimes the business has to take a step back...acknowledge something was done incorrectly...inadequetely    and DO THE RIGHT THING!!!Regards,

I've spoken to the florist who had a signature at the front desk/receptionist([redacted]) who accepted the arrangement. The florist is not permitted to enter the restaurant to deliver in person.This delivery was confirmed on 5/5 @3Pm and the customer service representative tried to get confirmation...

for the customer but was unable to do so.
