Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I paid over $97 for a horrible arrangrment that was not what I chose on their website. The recipient of the flowers was embarrassed to sent them back as they thought I would be upset, even though they agreed that what they received was nothing like what I paid for. They offered me a $20 store credit which I refused because I would never give this company my business ever sgain, and the $9 credit to my account is not acceptable.  what was delivered were no where near worth $97, so I am requesting half my money back. I believe that is very fair.  Thank you
Regards,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  What I ordered and what they delivered is two different things.  The salesperson went over ALL DETAILS one by one including the guarrantee of delivery that day and the exact colors.  He even put me on hold to make sure they had all colors.  He told me I would get an email stating it has been delivered. When I did not receive the email, I called and found out that it had not even gone out for delivery.  I had to stay on hold after having to hang up and call back several times just to reach someone and I finally got another customer rep who aplogized and said he was sorry he didn't know why it didn't go out yet but after checkin details he said the colors that were discussed were not what they had on the order.  I paid for a large arrangement and $18 of gourmet chocolates.  This rep told me he would make sure that it was just as it was supposed to be which was Just like the Enchanted arrangement with the colors that I wanted which was Peach roses and white and cream filling for the flowers in the middle.  He also said they would make it extra special and make it even fuller. When the customer got the arrangement it looked NOTHING like what I had been on the phone for two days going over and the gourmet chocolates..,..well??? they were turtles that you can get at the drug store and other drug store chocolates and the arrangement was not a large arrangement at all.  I then had to call again and ended up wasting more time because all they wanted to give me is 9.99 credit for an order they messed up on twice already that is worth over $100. I expressed a huge dissapointment and I wanted a refund and the guy said sorry...all I can do is give you a store credit.  I didn't want a store credit because I would never be purchasing from there again. He then said that's all he could do or he could send assorted roses in a box and stated they were worth over $180 which they were not at all.  I had no choice but to tell them go ahead and send because they were not giving me my money back.  I did not want them to send a box of flowers that a sick cancer patient and dear friend who just finished surgery would have to put together and I expressed that.  I also knew they would not be decent flowers after the first experience. Well it turns out they weren't but my friend was not feeling well enough to take a picture of them.  I have read after the fact unfortunately that all the reviews that mislead people are from the actual company. It's a scam. When I found other reviews...people went through the same thing and they were out of money also.  How can these people keep taking money from people and still be allowed to scam people?? I just want my money back for all of the headache, wrong order, horrible customer service and wasted time trying to resolve the issue.I have attached the picture of the enchanted full bouquet that was to be done in a Large arrangement and filled with Peach roses and white and cream filling.  Then I attached the picture of what got delivered on the wrong day and the chocolates as well as the entire order being wrong.  Those were not gourmet $18 chocolates.  In fact the sales rep explained them as 12 gourmet chocolates in a box.
Regards,

Revdex.com COMPLAINT RESPONSE TO REJECTION: ORDER#[redacted]White Sympathy Vase DELUXE Medium @$99.99 was ordered by the customer via phone call. At the finalization of that call, the order was processed and a confirmation invoice was emailed to the customer for review and to check for any errors. That would have been the time to call customer service to dispute what was ordered, not after the fact. Yes, a error might have been made and the refund in the amount was done in good faith in the amount of $25.00(refunded - Amount: $25.00 vs Transaction [redacted])The online description was as follows:White Sympathy Vase@$99.99 White lilies adorn this arrangement, while assorted blooms of white roses and daisies are spread throughout them to accentuate a sense of calm with no indication of the amount of flowers that are to be used either. The florist used:A vase with assorted white flowers including white roses, lilies, daisies, snaps and asters. As shown, the customer was issued a refund $29.99 and $20.00 in store credits. The basket ordered on line was @$57.99 meaning is actually cost the customer for the basket $28.00, as a courtesy/a sign of good faith to resolve the issues mentioned. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Avas flowers continues to drag their feet towards a satisfactory resolution. Now they claim that since the arrangement of flowers is dead, they should be excluded from assuming any responsibility. It took several days and several patient hours of my time to try and work with Avas flowers to even look at my case. I contacted them about their mistake within 24 hours and on day 3 of debating with them, they accused me of not contacting them within 24 hours. I was even criticized by the manager, [redacted], for not doing my research in depth before I placed an order with Avas flowers, like I should have known better. The company refused to admit any fault and simply lied about their mistake until I provided the Revdex.com with a picture of the incorrect product.  My recipient didn't receive anything remotely close to what I had paid good money for. I was only promised a full refund if the floral company would agree to go back and retrieve the incorrect arrangement from the elderly woman I had sent it to- and that is only if they agreed. I told Avas flowers that it was a tacky practice that lacked all class. Avas flowers wanted me to verbally agree to this and if the floral shop refused to pick it up- then I was only going to receive a partial credit. This very same floral shop blatantly denied any wrongdoing in the first place. I was not willing to rely on them any further and that is why I contacted the Revdex.com. In addition, why would I want store credit form Avas when they have treated me so poorly? The credit isn't even enough to get anything without spending more money. Why would I want to spend even more money with Avas Flowers? They have been completely dishonest, nasty, and unreasonable. I don't do business that way. I want a full refund for the amount of $68.94

ORDER#[redacted]:, my apologizes for the issued you have experienced with your on line order. As a courtesy to the customer, have cancelled the order and issued a refund for the cost of the chocolates and the fruit basket as shown:A refund of $75.98 has been applied to transaction id...

[redacted]The following email was sent to "[redacted]":A refund in the amount of $75.98 has been issued. It may take your bank up to 10 days to process this refund. We apologize for any inconvenienceAs described within the Avas website:The Fruit and Gourmet Basket is a collection of the season's freshest fruits arranged with delicious gourmet treats in a beautiful wicker basket with no indication of the type of  fruit used to make this basket. Item pictured is a depiction of an arrangement that we will make as similar as possible with the same look and feel. This order was placed on line where the provisions/policy of Avas Flowers are shown and are listed below:Legally Binding Contract:The first thing you should know is that this Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Avas Flowers.  Our official company name is Flower Tech Center, Inc., but we operate under the name Avas Flowers.  Hereinafter, whenever we use the terms “Avas Flowers,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our,” please note that we are referring to Flower Tech Center, Inc. d/b/a Avas Flowers. We also email the customer, at the time of the order being confirmed a copy of the invoice for the customers review. The amount of the invoice was never disputed at that time.

I am rejecting this response because:
I do not agree with a resolution of a $10.00 credit when you are in the business of delivery for special occasions and fail to deliver in a timely manner. When I ordered online specificly from a local florist in the city that my mom resides in it was specificly to avoid any delay in delivery time. Also the fact that website is deceiving in the sense that you think your ordering local when in fact certain orders are outsourced to an affiliate in New Jersey of all places. Makes no sense what so ever. An apology phone call to the recipient was offered which is not what I want to hear when all I want is for the delivery to reach its destination when I payed a pretty penny just to have someone get it there and surprise my family member. I was told that a full refund would be possible but only if I was to ask the recipient to reject the delivery at arrival. Well who would want to ask their loved one to reject a delivery of flowers that was meant to put a smile on their face on their special day? I deserve more than a measly $10.00 due to the fact that I have been inconvenienced and a happy occasion has been tainted by this horrible interaction with your business. I do not agree to your terms or policies. Do the right by the customer when you fail to follow through.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I was ripped off, lied to, and treated as if I had done something wrong. The $27.90 that Avas flowers had offered was not even half of a refund when only half of the order was received. The $15 store credit is the last thing I would want from a company that cheated and lied to me.I have no use for it and such a low amount of credit wouldn't even allow for any purchases without me having to spend more money.  It is outrageous to me that Avas flowers still insists that the order of 30 MULTI color tulips was delivered when the picture of the actual arrangement received clearly shows 15 tulips and only 2 colors present (not the 4 colors I was assured). They tried to claim that there were only 2 colors because Valentines day took up all their supply of pink and red flowers and they were allowed to substitute if needed. I again reiterated that I was not informed of any substitutions and half the flowers are still missing. For them insist that the order was correct even though it is blatantly obvious that it wasn't, goes to show that Avas flowers is being stubbornly dishonest. Obviously, a mistake was made- that is why they made an unsatisfactory offer; but they are not willing to admit their wrong doing or deception. I reported their mistake within 24 hours and Avas flowers is trying to claim that I didn't. They gave me the runaround for 3 days. I had to prove I wasn't lying and when I presented irrefutable evidence- they continued to lie about it. I have burned up several hours- including 2 lunch breaks just trying to get this company to look at the picture so that they had no choice but to discuss a refund. For all the hassle and trouble they have put me through, I want my full refund. Avas Flowers does not deserve my business or my hard earned money.

I am rejecting this response because:
They gave me no alternative but accept a latter date. Their flex delivery date is misleading it has two dates listed. That makes you think it will b delivered on one of those dates. They only resolution to my complaint is to receive a full refund.

Hello, We tried to respond via your system, but after filling out your form rejecting Avas Flowers response, yoursystem advised that there was a "RadUpload Ajax Error." So, we will try this method as an other option.  I am rejecting this response because: We reject part of their response and accept part of their response. In our "Complaint" herein, we asked for three considerations - a willingness to stop their "Bait and Switch" policy, an apology, and consideration of a partial refund. FIRST, we do APPRECIATE the apology we received from Avas Flowers and we ACCEPT said apology. Thank you. SECOND, we do APPRECIATE the partial refund we are supposed to receive and we will ACCEPT said partial refund. Thank you. THIRD, when it comes to the company's "Bait and Switch" policy, we REJECT their plea of innocence. Had their apology and refund been accompanied by a reassurance that they would not perpetuate their unfair and fraudulent practice of "Bait and Switch", their total actions would have more than met with our approval. But, they didn't. They DEFENDED their actions as acceptable policy rather than accept responsibility. Allow us to explain further so they can comprehend the issue more fully. We differ on the mindset of Avas Flowers that their actions do NOT constitute "Bait and Switch." Consider the Attachment entitled "advertised avasflowers arrangement". It's gorgeous. Chris's aunt brought him cheer and these flowers reminded him of her personality and that was why we chose them. Please see Attachment "avas flowers details" in which the base price applies to the arrangement shown. When asked about the higher levels, we were told that the arrangement would be larger with a much larger number of flowers and more full of flowers rather than greenery. That sounded wonderful and we ordered the PREMIUM arrangement. Please see Attachment "actual avas flowers arrangement received." NOT the same! Yes, it is a decent flower arrangement. NO, it is NOT the flower arrangement we ordered or close enough to qualify as an impersonation. They are clearly, distinctly different and fewer in relative number than we were promised. Yes, we received a call, but the accent of the person made us unsure of what and why things were changed, unsure of what the substitute might look like, something about paper machete and urn availability and an assurance that the substitute flowers would be similar and excellent. We do NOT consider the substitution to be excellent or even similar. Again, please do NOT advertise what you CANNOT fulfill! Thank you. That being said, we DO appreciate the efforts made by Avas Flowers with regard to two of our three requests. Please review the Attachments and reflect upon our concerns. Thank you very much and we DO appreciate the role the Revdex.com of New Jersey has played in bringing our concerns in a controlled environment to the attention of Avas Flowers.  Preview attachment advertised avasflowers arrangement.jpgadvertised avasflowers arrangement.jpgPreview attachment avas flowers details.pngavas flowers details.pngreview attachment actual avas flowers arrangement received.JPGactual avas flowers arrangement received.JPG

My apologizes for the issued mentioned. I have spoken to the florist who attempted to re deliver two different orchids and both were refused. They will not pick up the Orchid that was originally delivered. The Avas policy shown below:If a delivery attempt is made and the arrangement is refused by...

the recipient, the order will not be refunded. The customer said that they received a red orchid double stem in a clay pot and wanted a purple orchid stem-The customer was told that the florist cannot always do the same color and it may vary depending on what is available. Substitution Policy:The flowers shown online are representative of color scheme, look and feel, overall style, and value; however specific containers and or flowers will vary in some cases due to floral designer interpretation, availability or need to meet our quality standards. This was offered to the customer as a sign of good faith: I can issue you a partial refund of $19.95 back to the credit card that was used at the time of purchase. Would you like me to take care of that for you today? Thank you for your inderstanding, Robert

My name is [redacted] with Avas Flowers customer service management and I’m very sorry there was such trouble with this order.  We are prepared to refund $33.93 directly back to your card and leave the arrangement with the recipient. Please let me know if that is acceptable, and I will have that...

issued.

I am rejecting this response because:Delivery of this arrangement @ 9:00P.M. was/is totally unacceptable.  The "Courtesy Refund" does not cover the embarrassment, disappointment, and lack of responsibility in informing me that this arrangement could be delivered at that late time. Further, the lack of information as to who the florist was/is has never been forwarded.  The POOR appearance of the note card was/is further inexcusable. This 'REFUND" does not cover Poor service and Poor quality. As previously stated a full refund  and a corporate apology is expected.
