FedEx Driver delivered package to wrong address I understand that the FedEx Drivers are human and we all make mistakesThis complaint is more towards FedEx horrible customer service I recieved, and the fact that FedEx gives me no assurance that they are willing to resolve claims correctly I contacted Fedex Customer Service and they opened a claim for me and also set the expectation that it would take business days for them to research the claim and that someone would call me back at that time to provide the resolutionI recieved no phone call and when I called back after business days I was told the claim was denied, and closed because their records showed the package was delivered to the correct addressSo, at this point I'm out the value of the package, $180.00, because I can't prove that I did not receive the packageA few days after speaking with FedEx, someone that lives blocks away had received the package and was kind enough to drop it offThe address where FedEx had delivered the package was a completely different street name and street numberI can't help but think of what the outcome would have been, if this person did not get the package back to meI will NEVER do business with FedExNot because of the mistake, but because of the poor customer service and their unwillingness to properly resolve their mistake

It is shocking that they have an A+ rating. We consistently have issues with them delivering items to a simular address. when we call them they are short, rude and generally insulting. the most recent time they even showed the item delivered to the wrong address than the shipping label but still need 3 to 5 days to "locate our package" after a week of talking to them every day. they never call us back and many times when we folow up "There is no complaint or ticket in the system". the only positive resolution we have had was to get the shipper to try multiple times. I wish I could select the shipment vendor and allow market pressure to put them out of buisness.

I do most of my shopping online so I receive a lot of packages thru Fedex. The driver that delivers to our location has complained many of times about having to deliver to us because it is out of his way. He has lied and noted that we were unavailable on certain occasions when we were home that entire day. He has been careless and left his back open and slung merchandise in my driveway. I am awaiting a package that says it was delivered two days ago... have not received it. This driver out of Kernersville NC is careless and sloppy. I dread when my packages are to be delivered by FedEx.

I've had the absolute worst experience with Fed Ex and will NEVER do business with them again. On Nov 12 my fiance sent a package with a declared value of $2400 under false pretenses. We found out that he was scammed and immediately contacted Fed Ex the day after. He asked for the package to be stopped and returned. The customer service rep that assisted him ensured him that the package would be returned and that the shipping address was changed. He told him it would be available for pickup in 3-5 days from the location he dropped it off. Two days later, he received an email that the package was delivered. He called Fed Ex and they said they would send a driver out to the address to retrieve the package (of course they didn't retrieve) and they said they would call back. Never got a call back. He called again the next day and the rep said they were going to send another driver out... They never retrieved the package. We called back and every time we called back they never had any record of what was going on and he had to explain the whole situation over and over again. We called back a few days later and spoke to yet another rep who said that they started a claim and we should call back to follow up. We called back and they had no such claim filed in the system and that rep emailed my fiance paperwork to file for the claim and said that they would process it within 1-2 days and that it would take 5-7 days for them to make a decision. We called back the next day to follow up. They said the claim was declined and the rep was extremely rude about it and explained to us that just because we request that a package be returned that it was not ensured (first time ANY of the reps we talked to said this!). Of course we were frustrated and wanted to talk to a manager who conveniently not available. He submitted a manager request and told us we would receive a call in 2-3 days. We never got a call back. That day I also took to social media in the hopes to get some help from Fed Ex. The rep that responded to me told me that they would elevate the claims to Customer Advocate and that's who we would be in contact with. We called the next day and spoke to Tracey from Customer Advocate who informed us that their computer system had an error and they never put in their system the request so a tracing agent that would have got it and returned never did because of their error. She then transferred us to claims dept so we could speak to an agent and have them resolve it. This agent was also rude. Elsia told us that our claim was declined again. She said they would only be liable to pay up to the declared value if there was an error on Fed Ex's behalf. We explained that Tracey said their was an error on their part and she said she was gonna find a manager who AGAIN was unavailable. This situation has been ongoing for over a month and we have yet to get a solution. We finally got a call back from a manager who said that there is no record of us speaking to the people who did. Again, conveniently! And we have to wait 2-3 days for another call back! This is extremely ridiculous. Their customer service is terrible. I would never do business with them again.

They will never show up and only when you track your shipment online there is delivery exception that business closed or customer is not available! But they don't even try. They don't leave the tag! They don't leave the note! They don't call cause it's not allowed! They don't knock the door! And they don't leave the package! THEY LIE, assume they are expecting people to stay at their door waiting for them! I call 2 times and chat with 5 different agents promise me that the next day it won't happen again. However same problem happened the following day! Even customer service have no idea what's the problem! They never explain what was the problem!!! This is the 13th day since the package was sent and the 2nd time they lie about delivery attempt.

Fedex is by far the worst carrier service out there. Recently we have had several Fedex only packages go missing in my building. Online the package is claimed to be delivered and left at the front door however no package was ever received. We never had this issue with [redacted] or [redacted]. My neighbors and I have reached out to Fedex to have them look into the case and they would do no such thing. Clearly their drivers cannot be trusted and the lack of customer service makes these guys the worst. No one even tried to look into our case.

I'm very upset and extremely disappointed in regards to how my delivery has been handled. I was originally told that my package will be delivered on September 3, 2016; but instead it was delivered to the wrong address. it was delivered to a resident in Brooklyn, NY when my address clearly states my home is located in Rosedale, Queens. I called the office and was told that I would be able to pick it up from the FedEx location on Fountain Ave in Brooklyn, NY and was told that they are not able to give me my package because they were not providing any items on this day. I was able to speak to a supervisor and was told that due to the holiday weekend no deliveries would be made (which is understandable). I then called the FedEx hotline and was told that my delivery would take place today, September 7, 2016. I had my mother take off a day of work to ensure that someone would be home at the time of delivery. At or around 6:30pm, the delivery truck pulled up to my home, my mother answered the door and was just handed a sorry we missed you tag without even providing the item that should have been delivered.

This is completely unacceptable. I'm not sure what games are being played, but is not the way a business should run. I think everyone involved with my delivery should truly attend a training as to how important it is to ensure your customers are happy with the services that are being provided. The carrier was extremely wrong for providing a Sorry we missed you tag even after she asked my mother fi this is the residence of mine. I've been getting the run around from your company since I received my estimated delivery date and still I do not have the merchandise that I ordered. I'm sure your vendors would be very upset if they knew that this is how their customers are being treated.

I expect a lot better from a company that based their diligence and commitment on the delivery of items. I truly hope that this complaint does not go in deaf ears because you will lose a lot of customers if this is how your company handles business. I truly hope I can get a response to this email as well as the complete understanding as to why I have to jump through hoops and receive the run around from your employees.

I ordered a package next day air on the January 13, 2017. Package has not arrived and it is January 17, 2017. FedEx doesnt issue refunds on shipping. Package states on tracking that it is in Austin, Texas. FedEx claims it is in Memphis, Tennessee. If you have a deadline to meet for shipping I would advise you just to use standard shipping, you will receive it at the same time even if you you use overnight shipping. Use [redacted], no problem with shipping at all. Very poor managed company, company oriented not consumer oriented. They will transfer you to other departments, instead of giving you a direct answer. Very very unstable company, I would advise you not to ship or invest in this company.

Fedex overcharged mycredit card 5 time in the last several months. The first tie they did, I spoke with revenue services and they agreed to return the money. They never did. When I did a little research online I found that they overcharged hundred and thousands of people. This is illegal. Do not use FedEx.

Called to check on status of package, it seems like the associates have limited access to information on the status of a package after running a trace and will lie to you in order to get you off the phone.
Incompetence to the associate I spoke to at (800) 463-3339 told me my package was sent back half way across the country to the original sender. I have called back and the calling center was closed, the associated seemed to be irritated and proceed to tell me the department was closed and I would get a call back. Another lie, just to get you off the phone.
Extremely poor quality customer service. Accuracy ration of information presented to FedEx associates seems to be outdated.

Nearly every time FedEx ships something, there is a problem. I am never home, and have configured on FedEx.com to have packages left on my porch; they never leave them. For comparison, the same service at UPS does leave every package on my porch without question, and has ever since I set a universal release in MyUPS.

This started on March 12, 2014, concerning an overnight shipment. I paid extra for overnight service of this shipment, as it was urgent. On March 13, at 4:02pm on Friday, the driver failed to deliver and instead left a door tag; I signed the door tag, checking the box to leave at the porch. On Monday, March 17, deliver ways reattempted at 3:09 PM--and another door tag was left, in spite of my instruction. Multiple calls to customer service resulted in FedEx blaming me for not being present to receive, claiming delivery is at the driver's discretion.

After delivery, I contacted the CEO to complain. An administrative assistant sent a response with the following: "As noted in our published terms and conditions, at our sole discretion, some shipments may not be released without a delivery signature even when release is authorized, if the delivery location or circumstances are unsuitable for release without signature." In effect, FedEx refuses to release the package as instructed and to the sole responsibility of the recipient.

A vacation day is worth almost $300. FedEx expects me to remain home to receive shipments, to the cost of $36 * 8 hours. I have received hundreds of shipments via UPS, averaging more than two per week; half my salary would be gone if I took that much leave. FedEx can't make a delivery without me taking leave or arguing with them on the phone; they are functionally inferior in every way to other options.

Do NOT use this Fedex if shipping from abroad. I purchased a sculpture in Florence, Italy and the museum manager shipped my sculpture to the USA via Fedex. I had no input into the shipping other than having to pay Euros cash based on weight of sculpture. No one ever told me it would not be covered for damage or I needed insurance. Sculpture arrived broken in half despite Large Fragile stickers all around box and 4 different types of padding. I made online complaint and was told Fedex denied my claim as no proof of mishandling. I sued them in Magistrate Court, they failed to file an Answer so was in default, and upon realizing this, they advised they wanted to settle before my damages hearing (because I had asked for a Default Judgment). In a ruse to get me to give them information about shipment they pretended they wanted to settle. They instead sent a manager, instead of an attorney, to plead their case in Court. The judge allowed him to testify about facts (incorrectly) wherein he admitted they had notice and the sculpture was broken. I lost the case after they were already in default and I intend to appeal it. I am a paralegal and USED TO USE Fedex for legal shipments almost weekly but NEVER again. The customer service is lousy, they do not care about their customers, refuse to take responsibility when breaking your property, and I cannot believe they treat customers this way. I will NEVER use them again. With the # of reviews on here, this must be a company policy to tell everyone too bad. They could have at least returned my 80.00 shipping fee.

I ordered a package that was supposed to be delivered on Friday (12/4/2015). It is now Monday (12/7/2015) and I have received the 4th "Delivery Exception" stating that no attempt was made and the delivery was rescheduled for the next business day. I tried to contact customer service but after being on hold for almost an hour and sitting "in-line" in their online chat function for around the same amount of time I am fed up! I cannot waste this much time at work just because the business can't do something as simple as deliver a package! WHICH IS WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO! Why am I receiving a delivery exception at 7:30 AM? The driver still has an ENTIRE DAY to drop off the package at my home!

I normally don't write reviews, but this isn't even the first mismanaged delivery debacle that has happened in the past week. I ordered flowers from an online company and specified the delivery date (which was supposed to be a guarantee). Not only was the package not delivered, but I was contacted by the driver at 7:30 am claiming to be unable to find the address listed on the package. How is it that USPS AND UPS can deliver things to this same address on a daily basis, but your driver is so incompetent that he can't find it? When I called customer service I was told that the flowers never left the sorting center so that means that either the driver lied to me or the customer service people lied to me.....and I am not sure which one I am more upset about! I was then told that the next day that they would be able to deliver the flowers was Friday of that week (which would have made the flowers 4 days old!) so I eventually called the company who I placed the order through (they are being left out of this on purpose because they were very helpful and cancelled my order and refunded my money with very little hassle). If I can help it I will NEVER us FedEx again and I will tell every person who will listen to do the same!

Fed Ex terrible! No compassion! THEY changed the address on my Christmas package for some reason. Then they would not send a driver out to look for it for 4 days! Not acceptable! They claim to be closed on the day before Christmas. WHY would they change the address that I entered and then not correct the error right away. I will NEVER voluntarily ship FED Ex again FED UP!

I will never opt for FedEx again and will probably change my business account back to [redacted] (1.5 Mil /yr).
Thursday FedEx attempted a delivery of a large copper sink. I was not there and found out it needed a signature. I phoned FedEx and they told me they will attempt delivery again on Friday that I MUST be there to sign for it. I took Friday off of work and finally called FedEx at 5:30 pm ... and was told the driver made a change and it would be delivered Saturday. I was furious, but stayed home all day Saturday. At 4:30 pm I phoned FedEx and was told that it was still out for delivery and I would have to wait another hour. So at 5:30 I called back and by this time I was [redacted]!! The gal said she would have me talk with a supervisor. The supervisor was very cold and didn't care. I told her I couldn't stay home Monday again from work and that the package was to be delivered to my business address (K[redacted]). She took down the address and told me it would be.
I chatted fedex this morning when I saw it was going to attempt a Boise delivery to my home (which no one was there!!) and she told me that it was showing out for delivery for Tuesday. I asked if I could pick it up and was told I had to make a call to each facility to ask if I could pick it up.
I just spoke with the company who shipped me the sink (which wasn't put in this weekend as planned) and after I told them the whole story, they were appalled at FedEx as well. Once again I am staying home tomorrow since it is there 3rd attempt (no customer service there!). I even asked if I could leave a note with a signature and was told no!!! I have nothing but disgust for FedEx and how they treat their customers!

I Will Never Again Use a Vender That Ships Fedex.

I just ordered a F[redacted] camera on 3 Dec. and accepted the free shipping. They didn't ship it until Wed. 9 Dec. even though they said it was in stock but that's a complaint for F[redacted]. Fedex gets the package in Houston on 9 Dec. and it goes to Atlanta area on the way to East Tenn. Tracking says it left Fedex in Ellenwood, GA - near Atlanta - on Fri. 11 Dec. No update on tracking info for 5 days. On 16 Dec.,
tracking says package arrived at Fedex location in Atlanta and departed about 8 hours later. Original tracking info said delivery scheduled for 17 Dec. or 8 days after Fedex received it. Now tracking says package was turned over to USPS for delivery - in Atlanta in appears - and new delivery is scheduled for Sat. 19 Dec. Not sure if the free shipping was responsible for this poor service or if service would have been poor anyway. I recently ordered a printer from Amazon (free shipping) which came USPS and I had it in 4 days.
The last time I had a complaint about shipping was years ago and it was also with Fedex. Maybe they provide good service for commercial customers but they don't seem to care about good service for home delivery and the large number of complaints online seem to support this opinion.

FedEx is the most unreliable shipping carrier! I've never had issues with other carriers delivering my packages, but when it comes to FedEx, there is always a problem. I have a long track record with important medications never arriving, or the famous "business is closed" and "customer moved". I have lived at this HOME address for four years, and I don't plan on moving any time soon.

My most recent issue with FedEx has me convinced to never use them again (as if I didn't have enough reason before). I ordered an item from Amazon, and I waited all day for my package to be delivered. I finally saw the FedEx truck driving by. Note that my mailbox clearly shows my address, as well as having numbers ON the house! I watched as the truck driver flew past, then stopping on the side of the road, two houses down.

The driver never got out of the truck. They just sat there. After a few minutes, they turned around and pulled off! The driver never even pulled into my driveway, knocked on my door, or even attempted to deliver my package. Knowing all too well what they did, I went and looked up my tracking info to see what they put.
There it was. "Business closed". "Customer moved." They then stated they would try and deliver my package the next day. We'll see how that goes!

Really? Are FedEx drivers really that incapable? I mean it's not like they are getting PAID to DELIVER packages?!?!

Do yourselves a huge favor and steer clear of FedEx!
