Bella At Home Reviews (120)

Ms. [redacted],
We recently received your complaint from the Revdex.com regarding your Bella At Home account. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional information. According to our records, we received your order on...

April 27, 2014 and shipped your package the next day.
The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a one week trial period starting from the date of your order processing in which you could cancel your account to avoid further charges.  They also indicate that “you must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $92.13 ten days from the date of your order processing for the product.”
These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to.
When you ordered the product you also checked a box indicating that you had read and agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer checks that box we must assume that they have actually done what they are stating they did. If there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.
Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $92.13 on May 7, 2014. The first time we heard from you regarding the cancelation of your account was on May 8, 2014 after you had already been charged. Your account was immediately canceled and you have not received any shipments or charges since then.
At that time we reminded you of the terms of the offer that were agreed to at the time of your order which state that once the trial period has ended, product from the initial shipment is not eligible for a return or a refund.
However, in an effort to maintain our standard for customer satisfaction I have made an exception and allowed you to return your product for a full refund. The following return instructions were sent to you outlining the steps required to receive your refund.
Dear [redacted],
This email is being sent to confirm that your account is cancelled. You will no longer receive charges or shipments.
The RMA number you requested is [redacted]. This is valid for one package. Under the Return Policy, you may only return one package for credit. The package must be received before 2014-06-17 to qualify for credit. If your return is received opened or damaged there will be a $19.60 repackaging fee.
Please write the RMA number prominently on the outside of the shipping package. You will not receive credit if you do not use this RMA number.
Our return shipping address is:

Once your package is received, a credit will be issued back to your credit card. Please note that returns are typically processed in one business day once we receive your package and it can take another day or two with your bank before it shows up on your credit card account.
If you should need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Center. We're happy to assist you in any way we can.
Thank you,

Please note the return due date. I did extend the due date beyond our standard 15 days to make sure you would have plenty of time to return your package to receive a refund. Upon receiving your package back, we will issue a refund in the amount of $92.13. Once again this is an exception as our terms state you are not eligible for any refund. Additionally I am unable to assist you with any products you may have ordered other than Bella At Home.[redacted]

TOTAL SCAM! I ordered the.advertised trial size NOTHING ELSE! when I check my bank account I discovered they charged me an additional $92.30! After much going back & forth they agreed to a refund upon receiving the unopened, undamaged product. I'm a single mother and was supposed to take my son on a trip do the 1st time & had to cancel and lose $150 deposit cause I had no money to buy needed supplies for the trip.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. While the company is refunding the fee of $94 I am not sure if I should still return the product or throw it away since I cannot use it. Can the Revdex.com find out from the company if I should still return the product?

In addition, I would appreciate it if the Revdex.com could notify the company that while they allege that they are stating their terms and conditions they are still misrepresenting the "free" trial product and actually charging customers for a product that is being advertised as free. In addition, the company needs to provide adequate customer service training to it's staff. When I spoke with a customer service representative I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told that a supervisor was not available at that moment and when I offered to wait for one to become available I was told that a supervisor would call me back that same day. I never received a return phone call - very poor customer service.

Thanks very much for your assistance.
Regards,
[redacted]

Of course you have a canned response, of clearly stated terms of an agreement on your website.  However, I never ordered from your website.  And, my agreement was to pay shipping only for a free trial, which turned out to be anything but free at $92.13. What is clear is that I got taken, yet you try to appease me with a 60% refund.  Your product was too harsh on my gums, and the skin lining the roof of my mouth. Your business practices left a foul taste in my mouth.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The package was returned to the company the day after I received it. I was unaware that it had to include some number I received in an e-mail days later. It was my understanding that credit was impossible but I returned it anyway. Now the return instructions say that without the  designated number written on the outside of the package, there will be no refund. It seems to me they are determined to keep my money. I simply want my money back in full. The package should never have been sent to me and I do not feel I should be responsible for postage. I am requesting a full refund of the amount listed in my original complaint.
Regards,
[redacted]

Ms. [redacted],
Your package has been received back and a refund of $92.13 has been issued back to your card. Please allow 5-7 business days for this refund to post.

This is a complete ripoff. No product was sent to me only any applicator. I was charged initially $1.03 then two days later $3.37.: then $94. then $105. then $136. Still no product. I feel like a complete fool to have been suckered by this company

As others have reported, this is a SCAM!
I read a "news article" about a local housewife that had great results from using 2 products together, and that the "free trial" was once again available, but you better hurry and get in on the "free trial."
You order your "10 day free trial" for $1.03, then get charged $3.87 shipping - plus they send you a 30 day supply that you never ordered, which you have to request an RMA within 10 days of the order (not the delivery) and return the product (not just unused, but unopened) that you did not order!
You don't realize what is going on until you see a charge of $92.13 on your credit card. The terms are buried in the order confirmation email, and none of this is indicated in the actual shipment received.
I got hooked by the original "news article", and ordered 2 of the very same product, so I got SCAMMED twice on the same product.
I ended up paying $200 for an at home product that I could of got a professional version of for $150 from my dentist...bad way to save money. :(
Don't fall for this SCAM.

A Bunch of Crooks! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!!
They make charges without notifying you!
You can't return their product and get refunded!
They automatically charge & ship you their products whether you've had time to try out the trials they send! THEY'RE A BUNCH OF MONEY MONGERS!
USE A PREPAID CARD IF YOU WANT TO TRY THEIR PRODUCT!
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

My complaint is that I NEVER contacted Bella at Home by phone or online and yet they started sending THEIR PRODUCT and charging me $103.04 for 4 months!!! This is FRAUD!!! All I did was call The original company Blizzard White at their Toll Free Phone Number displayed on my TV screen for a 1 month trial Offer for, I believe $ 1.03 and $ 3.90 to ship. I received no order paperwork with their product. Because I had Lumbar Fusion Spine Surgery, I was unable to access my email. I called BOTH companies to cancel both orders, February 2, 2016. I filed Complaints with the Revdex.com to also alert the Public of these Scams! I will
NEVER ORDER AGAIN FROM A TV COMMERCIAL!!! I trust the Revdex.com hoping and
praying they can help me. Sincerely, [redacted]

Please see attachments for proof of shipment received on August 24, 2016 signed by a L Luis. Also please see other attachment a print screen from Bella At Home refund web site stating within 15 days not 8 days.
Which proves false advertising and them lying about not receiving my package which not only the box was covered on all sides and top and bottom with the RMA # as well as the FedEx label which you can clearly see on the FedEx shipment statement.
