I went to their 20 ribeye steaks for $30 on April 10 at the *** in Louisville, Ky. They tried to upsell me a family pack of steaks and I told them no. I was not interested. They then tried to upsell me Chicken and Seafood. I told them all I wanted was the ribeyes. I purchased my ribeyes and left. When I got home I was charged $289.00. I tried calling the number on the charge, but all I got was a recording to leave a message and someone would call me back.
I could not find an email address so I went back to the site on 4/11 and spoke with *** to inform him of the error. He said to call the number on the receipt and they will call me back in a couple days. He also said to email them and I asked for the email address and he was not able to provide me with one. He kept saying it's on the webpage.
I went home and there wasn't an email address on file. I did find another number on the site and called it, but got another recording for a Google Voice and was told to leave a Voice Mail which I did and still no response.
I reached out to their Social Media page, explained the issue, and they kept saying I have to go back to the site to return the items. I told the Social Media site I was not returning anything, I just want a refund of the diference that was owed. Again they said I have to go to the location to due a refund. I can not go back to the site as they have already left and the social media site replies did not come back until after the locations closed. I'm not risking going back out to Public during the Corona Virus Pandemic and all I want is a refund of the difference that is owed to me.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have been asking about this since the day after the purchase when I noticed the incorrect charges. That day was April 11th. I did not get a response until the next day and it was a generic reply saying I need to go to the tent that I purchased to dispute. I went to the tent and was told to call customer service which lead me to a voice mail which I still have gotten a response or call back.
When I messaged social media back, I got the same copy and paste reply of going back to the tent. I told them I already talked to *** at the tent and was told to call or email corporate. When I asked for the info, he said it was found on the website. *** wasnt able to provide me with any info.
I was told by the social media account it will take a business day to review the clovers and see why I was overcharged.
This was on 4/13 and I asked for an update on 4/15 and just got a different response. They are now telling me they need my information on the issue. I told them dollar amount both on 4/11 and 4/12, yet they are just now asking for this info. Why did they say they were going to look into this on 4/13 and not ask for this info in the beginning?
I would like a refund back to my account of $259 that I was overcharged on.

We are trying to get your refund processed as quickly as possible. We are even refunding you the full amount due to having to wait so long to get it processed.

Their products are a rip off, the filets were so tough the were un eatable, the burgers are full of fillers like flour and beet juice for coloring and don't taste like beef, ribeyes were small and stringy, on the good note they refunded all my money the next day when I returned it.

We are terribly sorry you are unhappy with the purchase you made. We have tons of customers that love all of our products and are very happy with the customer service they have received and believe in customer satisfaction and service.

I purchased 20 ribeyes for $30, but the quality of the ribeyes were questionable. They were extremely thin and tuff to chew. It was like chewing bubblegum after cooking a few steaks on the grill-unfortunately. I find it hard to believe that the steaks are REAL beef. Buyers beware of purchasing from this Revdex.com company. I'll shop elsewhere before I purchase anymore mystery meat.

We have tons of customers that love our ribeyes. We apologize that you are unhappy with your purchase. I assure you that all of our products are real beef, chicken, pork and seafood. *** ALL of our products are USDA INSPECTED AND APPROVED and come to us prepackaged and frozen.

Meat purchased was slimy & had a strong harsh odor indicating meat had been spoiled. Took a package of steak and chicken to my local meat store to have the butcher inspect. Butcher stated meat was spoiled and had been treated. Company is impossible to contact and have not received any responses.

Our apologies but this is the first that we have heard about your unhappiness with the product you have purchased. Per the CDC public guidelines we are not allowed to accept any returns of our product however, if you could please provide a letter from the butcher you took the meat to that stated this meat was spoiled and proof of purchase then we will happily provide you with a partial refund. All of our meat comes from our distributor prepackaged, frozen and USDA approved. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

I am rejecting this response because:First this company claimed I hadn't purchased anything from them and wanted proof. I sent that. Now they want proof that a butcher inspected it. They are claiming that all their product is inspected, certified, or whatever- for which dba name that you use? There appears to be so many that they dont even know who they sell to anymore. If this company wants proof that they sold me bad product, I will gladly send it back to them, at their expense. The butcher shop that previously inspected the meat has closed their doors for now due to business expenses of COVID 19. This product is so bad I wouldnt even feed it to my dog. I do not accept the offer of a partial refund. What an absolute joke of a business! Cant believe they are still in business under so many names. If a full refund is not issued, I will be pursuing further action.

We have not received any proof that your purchase was made from *** and in order to refund you any you state that you took this purchase to your local butcher and that they stated the meat was spoiled. Since the CDC is prohibiting the return of any food products in order to give you a refund we will need 1. proof that your purchase was from *** and 2. that your local butcher said that this product was in fact spoiled per your statement in your complaint. Thank you.

I bought what was supposed to be Ribeye Steaks which is what I eat all the time, NOT RIBEYE STEAKS!! These steaks was so thin you could use them for philly cheese steaks, They were Delmonic steaks not Ribeye. I bought them for the Super Bowl didn't know until I opened them and saw the results of these Thin Steaks, No time to take them back! DO I GET MY MONEY BACK FOR STEAKS I DIDN'T CHOOSE TO BUY? NEVER WILL I BUY FROM A TRUCK IN THE MALL AGAIN!!!

I cannot believe the bad taste of these steaks. They advertised on the radio how great they were and tender and juicy and all these lies. These steaks are absolutely horrible. I reached out to them on their webpage, on *** and tried calling them. Nothing. I even have my message to them on *** that shows it was read. What an awful experience and awful customer service. We ended up throwing 90% of these away because no matter how you cooked them they were just horrible. My son ended up choking on a piece because it was so tough. ALL the steaks tasted as if they were frozen and re-frozen over and over again and old. I don't even know if they were beef steaks.

Our refund policy is 3 days from the date of purchase with the product being returned to the tent of purchase along with your receipt for a full refund. Our refund policy is so that we will be able to return the product to our distributor. Since your purchase was made in July you are not eligible for a full refund. I have been contacting you since July in regards to this matter. There is nothing stating that a complaint has to be put in within (3) days of the purchase. The day I purchased this product was the last day the truck would be in the Eau Claire, WI location and the driver even stated that. There was no way to return the products to that location even if it was within the 3 days. Your lack of response is the reason that I reported this to Revdex.com, especially seeing all the other complaints. I went to your website and sent a message on there with no response. I called the number listed on the business page with no response. I contacted the business on Facebook and it shows that the message was read and still no response. The product did not hold up to what was advertised. A full refund is being requested due to the lack of response and false product advertising.

I should have stocked up on the family party pack! Now I have to wait a whole other year for them to come back!

I learned my lesson on purchasing ‘meat’ from a refrigerated van in the mall parking lot. I paid $150 for meat that is TERRIBLE. All the pounding and meat tenderizers in the world will NOT make this product edible. It has little flavor and the ‘burgers’ have no beef taste at all, containing more fillers than actual meat. Probably not healthy based on minimum standards. Being retired and living on a fixed income, being a thrifty consumer, and always looking for quality products at a reasonable price, I feel many consumers of this product have been taken advantage of. I have tried to contact the company and was directed to voice mail.

They sold meat off their truck and tent. The meat is so tough it can not be eaten. Complaint was on local news as well.

Excellent Service! I bought 20 Ribeyes $30 and bought a family party pack! They even gave me free chicken for waiting so long in line. There were about 120 people in line and I saw the line that long for 3 days. They must have sold thousands this week! Great meat and great service!

Porterhouse steaks are incredible. I cooked them for friends. I fixed asparagus and sweet potatoes with the steaks . The meal was great. Love, that all the meat is wrapped individually. Easy to get the correct amount to cook.

?????????? I give them 5?? And I wish I could give more. I look at how many people they help and then I see how many reviews there are and it’s not fair to this company. They see more people in one hour than all of the reviews that’s been done on them In 12 years.

I buy from them every year and today I bought $289 worth of beef, chicken & pork in Texas.

On Oct. 5th 2019 wife and I went to our local mall parking lot where Homestead Steaks were having one of their Mall Mega Meat Market sales from the back of a refrigerated truck and was the last day the truck would be there.
Was always skeptical about buying meat this way and now this purchase confirmed my fears.
This is the most terrible meat we have ever purchased anywhere and is very inedible as it is so tough it's like trying to eat rubber.
We figured we would start with the most tender cut of the fillets but they were anything but tender and wife didn't eat hers but I forged ahead to finish but later found my gut just rolling and I was very gassy.
Couple days later I fixed one of the thin ribeyes to make a steak sandwich and woke up early in the morning with cramps and gas.
We next fixed one of the thin ribeyes for our little dog, he finally did eat it but later threw it all up.
Besides being to tough to eat there must be something else terribly wrong with this meat with making people sick (per the reviews).
We spent $180 of our hard earned dollars on this tough sickening meat and would like a full refund please.
We still have the receipt on a text if they need it.
Not sure what to do with this crap unless maybe take it somewhere to be tested?
Revdex.com please help us get our hard earned money back.

We purchased the value pack from Homestead Steaks after hearing their advertisements on the radio on multiple Boise stations. The value pack included a box of chicken, steak and chops. Apart from being very thin cuts, they ALL taste bad. Each cut of meat had the same 'weird' after taste.....its almost like a nasty preservative flavor.....its gross. After trying all 3 types of meat, and having our son get sick with stomach aches and other issues......! We decided none of the meat was eatable. We are seeking a refund for the whole amount.

We have thousands of happy customers all over the US and are saddened to hear that you are not happy with your purchase. Our refund policy is that the purchased product must be returned in the original packaging with proof of purchase to the location that the purchase was made. The Boise sales have been closed since 8/4/19 and 8/11/19. This well exceeds the 3 day refund policy, the only thing that we would be able to do is offer you a $25.00 refund with proof of purchase.

We purchased a steak package from their delivery truck /mobile sales vehicle here in our driveway and the meat was bad we spent $180 For the package and I expect the company to pick up the product and refund the money for the bad product.

We bought the case of steaks on 9/23/2019 at the *** in Portage Mich. We heard our radio station,*** advertising 20 steaks for 30.00. We went and bought the variety pack of different types for 123.00. We just last night decided to grill some and had company here. We were so embarrassed. This is the worse meat we have ever seen! I even used my meat thermometer. It was very hard to cut them and trying to chew them is not possible. We had to throw them all away.! We have the other 4 bozes left and will not be trying them. Horrible Meat!

Did you try returning your purchase at the location in which you purchased your product from? There is a phone number located on your receipt, did you try calling that number? We also have a customer service email listed, did you try to use that to get a hold of our customer service department? We have no record or indication that you tried to contact us to return the product within 3 days of purchase. If you are able to provide us with proof of contact within 3 days of your purchase and proof of purchase we will be more than happy to review you refund. We have THOUSANDS of happy customers that request that we come back to their location so that they may purchase of product again and again. I am 65 yrs old and live on a very strict budget and when I get scammed like this it hurts my entire family. Purchased a $192 meat variety pack from the truck located in the mall parking lot in Traverse City, Michigan
Got home and unboxed and put into freezer, tried the steaks and burgers and both were inedible, upset stomach after eating. Refund policy states it has to be in original box which we threw out when we put all the meat in our freezer. Ended up throwing it all out! It literally makes you sick!

On Saturday, October 5, 2019 I purchased a large bundle of beef steaks and 20 ribeyes for $199.99 outside the *** in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We heard about the sale via the ***.
The text receipt, as well as, the sale flyer all state you can return for refund within 3 days of purchase. I attempted to contact the company *** (listed on flyer) the following day, however no one answers the phone and it does not offer the opportunity to leave a message. I also tried contacting the "other" company name Homestead Steaks LLC, which is the name on the receipt and who withdrew the amount from my bank and it says there is not a voicemail box associated with the account. I also tried calling the number that texted my receipt and it says the same thing.

I am seeking a full refund. the meat is brown, freezer burned, and smells. It is unfit (and unsafe) to eat. I cannot return the meat within the 3 days grace period, because there is no way to contact the company to find out where they are currently located or selling from.

I am rejecting this response because: This is an unacceptable response on the business's end. The number the company listed above has NOT been active this entire time and there was no available voicemail. The day after my purchase, I tried to call the number on the text receipt AND the number that texted the receipt with no voicemail or person available. Then, I called the mall customer service on 10/6/19 and they said you were no longer there. Also, the meat truck seller said they were leaving that afternoon when the last person behind me came through. I arrived within the last half hour of the sale and the truck had minimal product left. The seller confirmed this by saying they were sold out of seafood and pork products and only had two boxes of chicken left.
I expect a full refund, because I made every effort to contact your business with the information provided to me via text receipt and flyer within the three days of purchase price AND did an additional internet search to try to obtain further contact information when the supplied information was not usable.
I have done my due diligence to try to return these products within the specified time frame and I expect this company to do theirs.

My husband heard it on the radio $25 for ribeyes & they got him for $300. The shrimp was spoiled I could not believe. Only 5 shrimps were fine. I would not recommend it. There is no $25 for 20 or what ever amount of ribeyes it’s just very small thin ribeye. The filets I cooked and everyone questioned if they were filets and mostly everyone just took a couple of bites. Had a lot of leftovers for my dogs.
My husband over spent on this.
