On May 3rd I purchased 4 boxes (2 steak, 2 chicken) at ***. All of the meat was transported from that location to my house and directly to my deep freezer; roughly 15 minutes drive. Everything was completely frozen solid coming out of the boxes and being placed in my freezer. On May 4th, I thawed two packages of steaks, pack of chicken and 2 packages of hamburgers. The hamburger meat was very strange and did not appear like normal meat at all. When cooked it simply fell apart and tasted like nothing (with/without seasoning). The chicken meat had a horrible odor that only got worse when cooking. I threw that directly in the trash. The steaks had very dense, almost sponge like texture ( not like meat) and even did not resemble meat after being cooked. Shortly after eating this my son and I had very upset stomachs that lead to vomiting.

I have viewed some of the other complaints and unfortunately they are very similar to mine. I would just like this to be made right so that I can use that money to buy food that is safe to feed my children. I was not given an actual receipt during the rushed transaction, but I do have the electronic payment that was made from my debit card and the charge on my bank statement (still in pending status).

After a detailed search through our customer service email we have found that this customer never contacted us prior to contacting the Revdex.com and unfortunately with out proof of purchase we are unable to issue a refund.

I am rejecting this response because:
It was very difficult to find any customer service email. Therefore, I wrote multiple messages to your *** account that were all read and never responded to ( I still have copies of all messages). I also put proof of purchase in my original complaint. I also paid with my bank card and have the transaction in my bank statements. I think it’s unfortunate that up until now that you have zero efforts to try and rectify the situation in any way.

Here is the proof of payment in the form of my bank statement that mirrors the date of the complaint.

I went onto my messenger and it seems the company has a new account and I am unable to load any previous messages. The first message I sent to them was the exact verbiage used in the complaint. I also sent 3 follow up messages to if they were going to respond. They read all of the messages and did not respond to any of them.

I believe that our refund department issued you a refund check via certified mail. You might check with your local post office to make sure they do not have it for you. My apologies. Our refund department was waiting on a response from you and when the Revdex.com closed the complaint a refund was never issued. We are able to issue you a 50% of your purchase. A refund check will be mailed via certified mail Monday. We are not able to issue you this refund electronically as we do not have access to the clover the purchase was made from.

It was closed in error and that’s why it was reopened. Why are you only refunded 50% when 100% of what I purchased had to be thrown out? When this process started you never mentioned anything about only refunding half. I think that is unreasonable given the circumstances.

Hello we had bought meat and chicken and pork from Homestead Steaks at the local Mall here in ***. the meat is very bad and taste bad and it all has a funky Smell.we spent over $300 and for it to be like this is outrageous..

This is the first time we are hearing of this complaint from this customer. After a detailed check of our customer service email there is no record of this customer ever trying to contact us nor did they try and return the product that they were unhappy with to the location of purchase within 3 days of purchase. Every customer is given a flyer that outlines our refund policy which included the customer service email.

Well obviously you don’t check reviews online because you clearly don’t have Happy Customers. You guys came to ARIZONA AND SCAMMED EVERYONE THAT CANE TO THE MALL PARKING LOTS.. The Meat you have sold every one was clearly not real meat you all put enhancements (Steriods) in the Animals to make the meat look good... I spent $369.00 and all the meat was disgusting.... I will never buy from this Company again... There is clearly Hundreds of reviews about you company on *** and ***..You need to satisfy your customers and clearly give us more then 3 days Exspecialy for us in AZ since you are in Missouri.. it’s not right....

We want a refund and to return the beef package we bought yesterday Saturday April 20th, 2019 at ***. This meat is a joke and awful quality. Now the truck is gone with no way to return. I've emailed them but their website is out of date all showing 2018 and you can't use the contact us button without a password. I sent the proof of purchase in our email to them as well.

The customers desired resolution was to have a full refund and they would return the product. Even without the receipt that they could not provide stating that the machine was not working, they did not return to the tent to return the product and request a refund from the sale that was still active in that area. The salesman at that location would have received approval at the tent to give a partial refund. The email does not state what the price was that the customer paid either. This could be shown from an *** statement. If the customer can show the amount paid for the product they received, we are offering to refund half of the purchase price.Please advise on the next steps to resolve this case.Thank you

20 Steaks for $25!! I used mine for fajitas!! Worked perfect!! The salesman told me he didn’t grill the thin steaks and I appreciate that!! He gave me T bones for free to try out! I loved them and went back later for the bundle pack!!

I purchased meat from this company from a truck that was located in our area. We didn't get to use it until 3 days after the purchase and we found the meat to inedible. There was no way to return the meat, they had left.

I heard an ad on the *** for 20 steaks for 25.00 . I assumed they would be small but wanted to check it out because the radio station was hyping it up so much. We get to this big tent with a refrigerated truck in the mall parking lot in *** and there were a few people online they handed us a piece of paper Showing us all the specials they have chicken seafood and steak they pulled out the boxes and showed us the quality of the meet and compared it to *** steaks at the seafood which were big shrimp and the chicken. Purchased a few items totaling 400.00. We had family over for dinner the next night and made the crab claws the smell was so putrid I literally gagged the white fish was the same exact way. We had taken the frozen steaks out to marinate
It didn’t seem like it was even a solid piece of meat but a mystery meat formed into the shape of steaks. I just wish I would have looked up reviews and Revdex.com before I spent so much money that went in the garbage and even more spent on pizza when I couldn’t feed my family this garbage. I can’t believe the radio endorsed this company and the mystery meat it claims to be top quality beef and seafood

Meat isn't looking good, paid 300 hundred dollars, for steak, and 1 whole package is ground beef , with pure fat, the other has steak cut in 3rds, not even a whole steak size. I didn't receive complete order in both boxes , I need help resolving this , called the number, and they say it's not a working number...

I first heard about Homestead Steak on our local radio station in Gallup, NM. I decided to check out their tent at our local mall. After viewing the deals they had, we decided to get the steak box because they had sold out on their chicken and seafood selection. The salesperson who showed us what we were getting, did so in a fast paced way. When we got home, and opened our box, I was disappointed that the 20 for $25 ribeye steak wasn't included in our selection... also the meat we had received seemed brown. . and in no way was there any hint of red. the steak also come very small and thinly sliced. overall I was disappointed with the advertisement and what we actually got. didn't seem fair to the price we paid. unfortunately we paid with what we had left on our ebt and all sales are final.

The T-Bones where really fatty and did not cook well. Had some bad spots that you could not even cut through. The ribeyes had a bad smell when grilled so did not eat them. Cooked a few fillets that turns out okay but there was a few I cooked last week that tasted like plastic. In my opinion just bad cuts of meat. Almost taste fake. I spend well over $200 and was not impressed.

I spent $350 on what I was told was premium meat around noon on March 23, 2018 in Tyler Tx. I bought the steak box as well as the chicken box and some extra hamburger patties. The same evening I cooked some of the steaks and they were full of gristle. I'm very disappointed considering how much was spent and the quality of meat. I will never purchase from this company again.

This company is selling a meat product that is claimed to be BEEF when it is not! This is false advertising. Additionally, they do not give reasonable time for a refund or return policy. They only provide 3 days from purchase! By the time one learns of the problem they are gone! This is a scam! I have filed a complaint a few days ago but I feel that Revdex.com is not doing anything to help the consumer get justice from this meat selling company who lied about the product they're selling! The product they sell needs full disclosures as the real type of meat, package date and so on. I paid 150.00 for this junk! I want a refund!!!!

We purchased$400 worth of beef, pork and chicken in Kerrville TX. When we got home we thawed some steaks and chicken out cooked them on the grill the very next day my husband got so sick throwing up and dyheria. My husband could barley walk,he could not eat for 3 days, this was on Monday. On Wednesday I woke up throwing up an worth dyheria. This meat is nasty and this should be taken seriously. I have a deep Freeze full of meat that's not eatable.

I spent $169.00 worth the meat from HOMESTEAD STEAKS set up at *** on 3/10/19. Not knowing I had to rush to cook my meat within 3 days to get a refund, I planned a bbq on 3/17.The meat has a wild taste to it. I made ribeyes, hamburger patties, and sirloins. All 3 types were horrible. None of my guests ate due to the quality, taste, and texture of meat. I had to go to local grocery store and buy more meat to cook for my guest. Never been so embarrassed.

This meat is garbage. When purchasing, the salesman was very high pressure, stressing no additives, preservatives etc. When I got it home and looked closely at the individual packs of meat, it was FULL of additives! The hamburger alone had so much breading in it, it had beet coloring to get red color back. The T-bones were “ mechanically tenderized” and had a half dozen other products added. Anyway, I only gave this company 1 star so that my discontent would register but it should have 0 stars, minus stars if possible. I wouldn’t feed this meat to a dog!

Bought meat from a sale at my local mall on 3/01/2019 for $135 meat was discolored and smelled foul not to mention very thin and fatty. Very poor quality. Not as advertised.

I paid $235.00 for two meat packages one seafood and the other chicken then the ribeye, there was a tent in a eight wheeler truck that the product was being sold from. it seemed like a good deal and the meats were all frozen an Inside sealed packages I got home and thawed out the lemon pepper talaipa it was very slimy and the fish was fishy I upon eating the fish threw up and had a serious stomach pain and sweating. The symptoms appear to those of food poisoning. I immediately threw the rest away the le,on pepper chicken had a strange taste and smell to it as well. I will not eat this nor give it to anyone

I bought steaks and shrimp from a truck sale. The steaks smelled foul and they were mostly gristle. The shrimp were bad and we had severe food poisoning for 3 days. The steaks were full.of water and when thawed were half of the size they appeared. We paid $179 on February 4th for food not fit to.serve our dogs. This company seems to be very shady and possibly illegal.
