I encourage anyone lost, or unsure and needing support to use BetterHelp. It is convenient while still offering groundbreaking, life changing results. I don't have to sit down in a cold doctors office and bare myself to a stranger, all the whole missing out on important events or time from work...
Getting started is easy, and painless. I enjoy my counselor so much, but the service really offers you the power to choose! To choose a counselor that fits you, to choose times that are convenient, and at a pace that feels good. I can't express enough truly how much I have grown myself with BetterHelp, and I encourage anyone curious, to come grow with me, using BetterHelp.

I honestly love this platform. It's wonderful to have access to my therapist at the push of a button. BetterHelp makes scheduling and therapy easy and fun, and if the other counselors are anything like mine is, they're wonderful! I'm definitely working through some issues and learning about myself despite not having been using the platform very long. In addition to therapy, it has a journaling feature plus some other cool stuff like groupinars I'm looking forward to trying! 10/10 recommend!!!

I have received excellent service and results with BetterHelp. The counselor I have been assigned to is wonderful to work with. The system is easy to use online. I can type a message to my therapist and get a response quickly. All of our past messages are there on the screen to review any time. I can also schedule a live chat session with my therapist or a video phone session if I want to. I am very pleased with the level of care I get from my therapist and the BetterHelp customer service and system as well.

I am so incredibly disappointed in Betterhelp and their affiliate Regain. They do not have a customer service line other than a person who fills out a comment card and tells you that someone will reach out to you within 24 hours. I was charged for something I was trying to cancel and submitted several support requests on my own in addition to at least two with the customer service line operator. It took me 4 or 5 emails to first receive any sort of response. After I did what I was instructed to do and sent back confirmation of my cancelation, it took another 7 emails and a follow up with the phone operator to have them tell me that they did not receive any communication from me and that they did not get a cancelation notice until 5 days after I cancelled, even though I was emailed a cancellation confirmation the same day I cancelled.

The bottom line is that the actual counseling service (my counselor that worked through them) was great, but Betterhelp and their affiliate Regain's customer service is a disgrace. I could not do anything but email. They have no phone line other than someone who fills out the comment card that is online, which you can do yourself. There is no way to speak with anyone in administration or billing. That strikes me as a scam. Had I known there would be a lack of support, I would have never signed up with them. They say that have processed my refund, but they also said I never contacted them and I have a cumulative 12 or so emails sent to their correct support addresses that should have been responded to. So, I honestly don't know if I will ever be getting my money back.

This is definitely a company who cares about people. I was hesitant at first (just like I was with any therapist) but this has been the best decision. They've worked with me financially which, of course, eliminates stress. And my counselor has been so responsive and does hold me accountable for responding in a timely matter which is great. Once I began to be honest with myself and actually put in the effort to make my situation better- it did. Thank you!

I have had over forty years of experience with the Mental Health System! Better Health delivers weekly Wellness through online therapy, weekly group therapy over a verity of areas; relationships, trauma, wellness, employment, anxiety and grief! The format is set up through live online video chats. I have learned a lot of coping skills through a Highly Educated Community of Therapists, and a diverse gifted Community of interesting People from all professions and situations in life! I have a degree in sociology and social work, and worked in mental health care over the decades. I have worked with some horrible, terrible mental health care businesses over the years. As a patient having had 3 one on one sessions thus far, I feel strongly I am in very safe, caring and professional therapy through Better Help.

Read their rules, you can ask to work with someone else if need be, but I have not had a reason to do that.

I came from a traditional therapy setting and I loved my therapist; however, online therapy is far more convenient for me. I can update my therapist with a journal or a message when I'm feeling down (instead of having to try and remember during a weekly session). She is very encouraging and it's a great supplement to our weekly video sessions. I still prefer the traditional therapy weekly face to face type of sessions so having both options is really great. Betterhelp has these great group webinars available every week that help me not only understand more about keeping myself mentally healthy but also allow me to communicate with a very supportive community of people. I am also very impressed with the staff at Betterhelp. The services are affordable, excellent, and they respond quickly to any suggestions or questions.

BetterHelp.com only works if you allow it to work for you. Yes, some of the therapists may not meet your needs or you may have personality conflicts. However, you have the option to find a new therapist that may better fit your needs at ANY time! No questions asked. I changed several therapists until I found someone who specializes in trauma and goes OUT OF HER WAY TO HELP ME EVERY SINGLE DAY. You have to make sure you are doing some work on your side to get better as well.
They have always been respectful and kept my information private. Never any issues. They even helped me with financial aid.

This service is amazing for those with mild to moderate problems or issues. Sometimes even nearing severe but it is recommended that if you are having that much of an issue, you seek help from a local emergency source or even an inpatient program.

Thank you so much, you are helping me get my life back together and helping me deal with my trauma and disabilities. So much more affordable and available than my actual psychologist who takes 2 weeks to call me back just to make an appointment. Highly recommend.

Do not go to this service to get help when struggling. They will overcharge you even if you are a student and disabled. I had nothing but issues from the start with this service. First, I was overcharged, but I was desperate for help so I pqyed. I almost missed my first session and when I said I wanted to use normal chat, she kept pushing for a phone call when I told her I wasnt comfortable with it. Then made me use live chat and I couldn't even look back on our conversation later. I remember one useful thing from that session when there was a lot of good stuff figured out (on my part). Then, when I canceled service (before the next service renew date to avoid another charge) they actually charged me the full $180. AGAIN. Never authorized this. I was NOT told that they would be doing this as a part of the cancelling process. I specifically canceled a month early to avoid another charge to my account. I now have -$150 in my account that I use to auto pay my bills and have no money for food this month. Thanks better help. Thanks a lot. My mental health may be bad but it is nowhere near as bad as your service or the fact that I literally have no money for food and bills this month. I now have to pay overdraft fees for everything I need to pay for this month too.

I've enjoyed using BetterHelp so far. It's always a bit of a struggle to find a counselor that works for you, but I managed to find one despite starting in the middle of nowhere. Now I'm getting the therapy that I need to overcome my struggles and be the best teacher that I can for my students!

If you don't mesh well with your counselor, you can always ask for a change. I recommend it.

I feel that I've made tremendous progress while using the BetterHelp platform. Through the process, I've learned that you get what you put into therapy. I was matched to two counselors who were not a good fit for me, and at first I was a little discouraged, but changing counselors in the app is an easy process and the third counselor I was matched with turned out to be a great fit. She is very responsive (at least once a day) and I feel listened to an cared for. We have been able to use phone and chat for our weekly sessions, and those have been guided by what I want to focus on. The sessions feel tailored to me and what I need to heal and grow.
I also found the price to be affordable compared to other platforms. I highly recommend this platform, and I also recommend being honest and open about what you need with your counselor.

BetterHelp, and the amazing therapists, provide an invaluable service to those who often travel or move frequently. For many years, access to support for mental health has been limited for the traveling population. BetterHelp allows someone to maintain a consistent relationship with their therapist no matter what timezone they find themselves in. This is a wonderful solution.

What a great application! I've made a lot of progress already at only 3 weeks into therapy.

I mistakenly read the amount as a monthly fee vs a weekly fee. I immediately requested a refund - two emails and had to dig for the phone # as it is not on site. I finally found it here and requested a refund but the agent stated I needed to wait for an email from them to determine if I am eligible for a refund even though it is the same day as purchase. Frustrating and seems odd to me.

Total scam of a company! I was charged for another month without giving permission! Also you can't delete your credit card!!! I am demanding a refund for the month I never agreed too. I was told that my session ended on Sept 6th. Ok that works. But IT DOES NOT mean that I authorize you to charge me for another *** month without my permission. That means the month has ended and YOU DO NOT GET TO RANDOMLY CHARGE PEOPLE. I will not be recommending this to anyone or returning to their services ever again and I am truly concerned as to why they have such a good standing on Revdex.com.

My experience with BetterHelp has been amazing. The level of convince offered by their service makes it so easy, almost TOO easy, to get help when I need it. I receive life skills & advice & guidance from my counselor. & what's great too is they not only offer a free 7-day trial upon request, but they have a financial aid option for those struggling to afford their service. I highly recommend this service. It's probability saved my life.

This is a case of caveat emptor. I regret that I didn't research them more thoroughly until after this became a distressing problem for me. Please read the letter below that I sent them on 8/22/19. This was the most recent in a series of many. And while I did just receive the 2nd $260 they billed,refunded to me, I consider the 1st $260 due back to me also, as in no way did they fulfill their end of the contract.

I am distressed over my encounter with your organization.
I found and tried this because all of the psychologists in my area that take my insurance are not taking new patients.

The 1st counselor with whom I dealt never connected with me when we set up a session. I then chose (counselor name had to be removed due to Revdex.com terms) and found him to be a disaster.
I received nothing resembling counseling and he actually wished me a happy weekend right after I told him my husband had just had an emergency hospitalization.
The last 2 'sessions' we were supposed to have were essentially nullified as he appeared 30 minutes late for both. The 1st of these was because his computer was giving him issues and the 2nd was because his wife's car broke down. The other sessions we did have consisted of me doing all the talking and just empty air time when I wasn't speaking . No significant interaction and nothing that sounded like counseling should sound.
I am incredibly busy and took time from my job to be ready so my time was wasted.
Trying to communicate with your company is difficult and I know it is deliberate. You have no phone # which is very telling as far as I'm concerned and most of the emails sound like they are canned answers and are not responsive to what I am saying. I did find a phone # yesterday through my credit card company and it appears you are buffered by an answering service.
It appears that you have a network of psychologists that probably pay you a fee or you pay them a stipend for being part of this set up but they just run individual practices as they see fit.
There are no standards to be upheld, no quality assurance and no accountability. From what I've been reading, it's not even certain that they are all even licensed because it appears you may or may not exercise any due diligence when allowing these people aboard.

I emailed that I wanted to cancel and asked for a refund for the July billing. The response to that has been to bill me for another month.
My response is to have filed a complaint with my credit card company and I will be posting a complaint to the Revdex.com among others.
I resent this as I am incredibly busy and stressed and this became another stressor.
It is absolutely unacceptable that people come to your website for help and end up having problems added . You appear to have a really good money making gimmick going and if someone happens to get a good counselor it's just luck.
But this is ultimately a business transaction and I did not get what I paid for and I was billed for another month after I emailed you that I was cancelling.
