Review: blau employee did work in my house without my o.k. I put my inialts in a small box after he did the work. He told me that I had to have a chimmey tube put in by law. I found it to be a lie. milwaukee chimmey would do it for 350.00 Blau charded me 1200.00All I wanted was a hot water heater for 499.00 and he charged me 2600.00 I was in my garage when he went thru my whole house and did unauthorized work.

On 4/1/15 our customer [redacted] called Blau for service because his water heater was leaking bad. Within 1 hour we had a service technician at his home addressing the issue. It was determined the water needed to be replaced and the serviceman proceeded to write up his detailed proposal. Due to the condition of the customer's existing chimney liner, it was found to be non code compliant and needed to be replaced to meet code. Also the existing gas and water shut off valves were non-compliant and needed to be replaced as well. A permit is required to replace a water heater and everything must meet code not only to pass inspection but for the safety of the homeowner. Our serviceman proceeded to write proposals for all the above mentioned work and go over it verbally with the customer. It is our policy that we obtain the property owner's signature on our paperwork authorizing us to go ahead with the proposed work. Not only did Mr. [redacted] authorize and sign our work order, but he also applied for the financing we offer and signed both the credit application and charge slip as well. In addition we issued a discount on the water heater installation and did additional plumbing work which was also authorized by Mr. [redacted]. Attached are copies of our signed work order along with the signed finance application and charge slip authorizing us to run all the charges on his newly opened Wells Fargo account. Review: We had a leak in the pipes in our basement, suspected coming from the kitchen sink. We called a technician to receive service as soon as possible. The technician came Saturday evening, he quoted us a $700+ contract. We signed and paid to have the problem fixed, plumbers were to come Monday. On Sunday the problem worsened and I called to make the plumbers aware that it may be more work than originally thought. The technician returned to our home on Sunday and quoted us an additionally $1100 of work stating that the work would now be much more extensive including cutting into two separate areas of the walls and replacing pipes under the sink and in the basement.

When the plumbers arrived to fix the problem, they only needed minimal access and did not replace any pipes under the sink or in the basement. The plumbers were only in our home for an hour and 45 minutes and their work was not at all what was explained. The amount of work that had justified an $1800+ bill was not completed. If that amount of work is not necessary than the $1800+ bill is not justified and therefore should be refunded.Desired Settlement: We submitted two payments on our credit card, $1103 and $710.68. I believe that the $710.68 bill is justified for the amount of work completed but the $1103 bill is not justified and should be refunded.

I've had several conversations with Mrs. [redacted] who was not present when our technician proposed the additional plumbing work quoted on our 2nd visit to her home. Mr. [redacted] was present and approved the proposals and authorized our service technician to perform the work quoted. I have explained the tasks proposed and performed to justify the $1103. The proposed work for the initial visit totally $710.28 was completed and the water leak repaired however after discussing with Mrs. [redacted], it appears she thought more work was going to be done versus what actually was done. In goodwill we have issued a full refund of $710.28 for the initial invoice, Mrs [redacted] is satisfied and this issued has been resolved.

Review: Blau Plumbing installed a Hot Water Heater, and failed to adjust the Gas Valve, which is a normal part of the installation. Because of this, the Water Heater makes a Loud Noise whenever it is operating. A call to Support at Eternal Water heater identified that this was an installation issue and the adjustment should have been done during the installation. When I called Blau to schedule a time to come out, they said there would be an additional Service Trip Charge because it was past 30 days since work was done. I have been traveling and not at home, so recently discovered the noise and called to have it fixed. Given that it was work that should have been done during the installation, I do not feel another Trip Charge is warranted and feel this is a practice to 'rip off' the client. Blau should have performed the work correctly the first time.Desired Settlement: Repair the problem that should have been done the first time. However, I will get this fixed soon, even if I have to pay someone else. I cannot live with the noise it makes. Then I will want Blau to pay the Trip Fee for whatever Plumber I call.

[redacted] was very professional yet understanding & compassionate. The service technicians were 10 out of 10, and I'm do not give many 10's out for anything. All the above mentioned the coupon for $50 off and when the techs were done they asked for it. I let them know I didn't have a functioning printer. They said just to mail one in then. Minutes later I received a call from [redacted] asking about the service. At the end of that part of the conversation I mentioned I would be mailing out the coupon immediately. She then told me since I didn't give it to the techs I could not get the discount. After mentioning that I was a new customer and politely asking her to reconsider, she said "no" 3 more times. It wasn't until I said that I wanted to speak with [redacted] that she finally said yes. I mailed the coupon the very next day. I still haven't received my $50.00 adjustment.

I called, and they came the same day -- calling before they arrived as promised. Their technician, Dave, was fantastic. He took time to explain all the options and answer all the questions along the way. He even looked with me as I did a quick price comparison. And, he was kind. He worked hard and got the job done in the time frame that he said. Thank you, Dave and Blau!

I called Blau mid-morning to request a residential plumbing repair. The customer service rep, [redacted] scheduled it right away and informed me that I would be called when repair was on the way. Received the phone call at the specified time, and the repair by [redacted] was completed in minutes. Prompt and Painless.

I had a problem with a toilet that at first would not flush and then not stop running and blau sent people out twice the same day to fix the problem

Fast! Awesome. They never overcharge and are always friendly. They take time to explain and answer questions. There plumbers are always knowledgeable and [redacted] in the office is by far the nicest, sweetest lady! All and all anytime I need plumbing I call Blau.

We had a backed up sewer drain, Blau was able to send Kyle out within two hours and was able to snake our drain successfully. The service was easy and very thorough. I feel our drain squeaky clean! Thanks guys!!! The pricing was great too.

Had a wonderful experience with having a well tank installed by a technician, named [redacted] from Blau Plumbing. He went far above and beyond what most techs do when inststalling. He also spent more time in efficiently cleaning my 2 air conditioners. Very knowledgeable and courteous. He also worked in a very helpful manner in showing his helper, [redacted], on hints and efficient ways to do the work . I was very impressed with [redacted] and would request his service anytime I call Blau plumbing.

Approx 15 min after I called, a white truck with, "Sudden Service" written across the front, pulled into our drive. I can't say any more.

I called they were ableto get a technician out to me within a couple hours.
He was able to diagnose and fix my problem with in 30 minutes. He was efficient, professional, pleasant and tidy.

Blau called to let me know that the technician was on his way. He arrived a few minutes later. We took a few minutes to discuss his work. I gave him access to the basement where he cleaned my filter. I gave him access to the water hose outside so that he could wash down my unit. He was quick. He checked the machine thoroughly. He picked up after himself and left after picking up all his tools. Blau has been servicing the plumbing in my house for a couple of years now. I always remember my blocked kitchen sink drain. The drain in that sink wanders around quite a bit before exiting the house. I did not think the drain could be cleared. I was sure that we were going to have to replace all the pipe. It took the technician an hour or so; but, he got it cleared out; and it remains so to this day. Yes! I am a happy customer. **

This week I purchased a new washer and gas dryer to replace a 26-year-old set. I called Blau when I smelled gas after the new dryer was installed this morning. The new connection to the gas line was leaking. The Blau plumber came in a timely manner and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and also brought the gas line connection up to code.
While he was there he installed code approved shock arrestors, and plug/water cap on pipes providing the water supply to the new washer. To do that, he had to turn the water supply off to the house. He later saw water dripping into the basement and he discovered the leak was on the toilet water supply turnoff, so he replaced that as well.
[redacted] was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I didn't think when I bought a new dryer and washer all these other problems would crop up, but I was glad Blau was able to help. (The joys of living in an older home - lots of things need fixing.)

[redacted] has been my service man from Blau Plumbing for several years. He has worked on my furnace and air conditioning systems many times. [redacted] is a friendly and honest technician. I trust him completely. I have watched him do the diagnostic tests on my furnace and air conditioning systems and have taken his advice on what is going on with my systems. I took his recommendation to purchase a new Goodman furnace two years ago and I am very happy I took his advice. I know that [redacted] is working with me to make my systems perform perfectly in my home.

I called Blau for plugged kitchen drain on a recommendation from a neighbor. It was a positive experience. They were prompt at the time the dispatcher had given and called when the technician was on the way. The technician was knowledgeable, quick and efficient. He also took the time to clean up after the work was complete.

I was really impressed with the service of Blau Plumbing. I had been utilizing another commercial plumber and when we had a large issue with our ice machine, the other plumber pushed us aside and scheduled us a week later. That was unacceptable for me so I contacted Blau and they had a repair technician at our business the next morning and after a quick diagnosis of the problem, replaced our water softener and we were up and running by the afternoon!! Their technician Mickey was kind and honest. They even called after he left to make sure I was satisfied with their services. I was very happy with them! Thank you for taking care of your customers!

Blau was a life saver for me today...each staff member that I dealt with at Blau were polite, considerate, and sympathetic to my situation...I had contacted other companies and felt lost. Kathy from Blau who answered the phone was so reassuring, and helpful, I knew my situation was going to get better. Chuck the technician that show up at my door should have been wearing a superhero cape because that was what he was. He got in so fast and went right to work. He took such great care to make sure my belongings were protected. I was impressed! In no time he had the drains all unclogged, but even then he wasn't finished. He made sure ALL the drains were cleared and running smooth. Chuck also explained why he thought we had the clogged in the first place and what we could do to avoid future issues. He also took the time to answer my questions and share the many services the Blau offers. In no time Chuck and his tool and machine back into his truck and on his way with me as an extremely happy customer! But Blau's service didn't stop there. Not long after Chuck had gone, Blau had a very nice young lady named Heather call to make sure I was satisfied with my service!!! AMAZING!!!! I have been telling everyone I know about how wonderful Blau was and I will continue to tell others. I plan on calling Blau some time soon to use their service to check out my air conditioning unit. Something I didn't even know they did until Chuck told me. Thanks Blau! And Thank you Blau staff for being so AMAZING and helping me resolve my messy issue!!!

Blau Plumbing Inc is good for two things: ripping people off and ripping people off.
I left work at 3:30 for a 4:00 plumbing appt and my tech didn't show up until 6:30. I should have charged them $25 per quarter hour they were late.
When I made the appt, I was told there was a $29 trip charge and then $25 per quarter hour. That per quarter hour charge was a "flat" lie from the company and the lady answering the phone. The tech diagnosed the problem within 1 minute of taking the lid off my toilet and had the valve replaced faster than it took him to call in my credit card number for a grand total of $351.65.
I'm a single mom, I know my car needs gas and oil and that's it. When my toilet makes a noise I have to call someone but there are definitely hidden charges here and that's why they can take advantage of people like me by just charging a flare rate and not telling you exactly what you are paying for. The billing contract says nothing but the amount you got charged for.
Everyone I talked to told me they robbed me, my moms even pissed I paid that much for an issue so small. When I called later to inquire about my charges, Samantha told me that yesteday when I signed my name and agreed to the charges I must have thought then that they were fair. Yes, awesome customer service on top it!

The service tech actually was early and had the work complete very quickly.
