Blau Plumbing was called to turn the gas on to a furnace on a rental property that I own in Milwaukee. Approximately 20 min. after their arrival, they called trying to sell me a water heater for a whopping $2800.00. Said it was a venting issue. I wouldn't go for that. He then tried to sell me a furnace, but ultimately talked me into buying a $300.00 capacitor for it. These guys took total advantage of the fact that I live 600 miles from Milwaukee, and oh, by the way, I called an honest company the next day and they fixed the vent on the water heater for $100.00.
Ultimately, Blau Plumbing turned the gas off to the water heater and left the property, not advising me that he was doing so. I found out from the tenant. I guess it was more convenient for him to call me to sell me something, which was obviously more important to him, as opposed to at lease giving me a courtesy call regarding turning the gas off to the water heater. Maybe angry because I didn't buy the water heater? Could've bought at least four at that price. Then they said he did a "furnace tune up." I didn't ask for that...LOL. Guess it wasn't enough money to just do what I asked. The company stated that I didn't care about the safety of the occupants in the property. A landlord does not call two plumbing companies in two days making arrangements to get the earliest appointment possible if he doesn't care about safety. One thing is for sure, we will NEVER call you again.

For annual inspection of furnace and air conditioning, we had Theo the technician.
He was very personable, knew what he was doing, and was careful to keep everything neat and clean.

We had Steve as our Technician. Awesome gentleman. It was maintenance time for our A/C. The condenser wasn't running and he basically took the air conditioner apart and worked on it for more than an hour and to my relief, got it working again. I would estimate we have had Blau/Air Comfort systems do our maintenance the last 25 years and would call no else. I completely trust their work.

I have always had a positive experience with Blau Plumbing. They are here on time and get the job done efficiently. Service person is friendly and informative.

My water heater failed on a holiday weekend. I called an emergency service number for a local plumber and their voice message stated they had very few openings for a service call but to leave a message and someone would call me back within the hour. The hour passed with no return phone call, so I phoned Blau. [redacted] answered the phone and said someone would be at my house within the hour. I was given the option to wait until Tuesday to have water heater replaced since it would have been consideralby less expensive, which I thought was nice. I couldn't wait that long, so they did the repair that day. Additional work needed to be done to bring the venting up to code, and I scheduled that at my convenience. Everyone at Blau was great!

We have used Blau plumbing for our annual heating and air conditioning service. They have always been professional and courteous. We recently had a drain pipe leak. [redacted] and [redacted] promptly and accurately diagnosed and corrected the problem. I highly recommend their service.
