THE SRVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE TECH WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE BY HOW THE DRAIN WORK PERFORMED.

My experience with Blau Plumbing was very positive. Undoubtedly, the best part of the experience was our service tech, Theo. He was most certainly the best service tech that I have ever had to my house. It honestly felt like I had a friend doing the work. If you find yourself in need of a plumber, don't hesitate to contact Blau and be sure to ask for Theo.

Blau plumbing did what they said they would do on time and at the price quoted. I like that. polite young man Cleaned up well.

The Blau plumber is very courteous and friendly. The pricing was in line and reasonable.

The following day I call Blau Sudden Service the price quoted was $20 dollars inspection and $148 for the first hour resulting in a total of $148.35 cents?
The technician who came to my door was very polite and friendly he ask if there was water in the basement I said no he was happy to hear that and proceeded down into the basement, he seems very young extending his hands my name is [redacted] he said [redacted] I reply, let see what you got, what are you looking for I ask him your main drain pipe he said, I did not know I had one of these I thought.
Locating the main drain pipe oddly enough in some remote corner of the basement he quickly work his magic lugging and wheeling down the biggest snake I have ever seen, he snake the [redacted] out of the pipe, first he use some kind of flusher, next he use a cutter in a matter of forty minutes or so the blockage was a thing of the past, next he surveyed the steady flow of the drain via the sewer drain.
Presenting me with his bill he said to me if you should have further trouble in the next hour or so call us I will return and clear it at no cost to you. [redacted] got me at hello but made me a lifetime customer at no cost to you thank you [redacted] and best of luck in your endeavors.

I continue to always call Blau Plumbing for over 10 years. Their team is reliable, professional, neat, respectable, and always tries to find ways to help customers find the best option for their needs.

[redacted] (our service tech) is the best. He identified the problem quickly, knew what to do to fix it, found the necessary piece of equipment in his truck and was done in no time at all.
Following his recommendation we paid for a relatively small repair and saved ourselves the expense of buying a whole new furnace. Looking forward to continuing with the old unit (and Blau's service) for many years to come.

We found water in our basement---to our horror of course!---so we called Blau, and they were there within 2 hours (thank you!). The serviceman identified and then explained the problem carefully, answering our questions completely, and was able to perform the work right then. Less than an hour later he was gone and we were ship-shape again! Thank you for the fast and thorough service!
In an unrelated service call, last year Blau installed our new hot water heater (at the time either I forgot to post a review or maybe they didn't ask me... in any case I'm taking care of it now!). Pleasant to work with, fast, and reasonably priced, we'll call them for future plumbing needs!

Review: I called Blau Plumbing back in February to replace a wax seal on my toilet, knowing the service call was $29 and the part was about $3 I didn't think it would be too expensive. To my surprise I was quoted $450. Its heavy lifting and draining a toilet so I agreed to the charge. He completed the work and before he left I asked about the warranty, the tech told me I had a rear view warranty, when he could no longer see me in his rear view mirror the warranty was up. I was in my basement this morning and I can see the toilet was once again leaking. (Looks like it has been for a while) I called service and was told it would pretty much run the same price as the warranty was up. I asked her what the warranty period was and she said only 30 days. When asked to speak to a Manager to complain I was told that's not allowed I have to submit all complaints on line. I think having to budget $450 every 3 months is ludicrous and I would have thought they would have stood behind there product a little better.Desired Settlement: I want the job done right and I don't think I should have to pay another $450 to do that

The customers problem may be entirely different and/or caused by something completely unrelated to the work we performed. Furthermore, our written warranty was 30 days on the repair which has expired months ago. Blau cannot be held responsible for whatever is causing this customer concern at this time, however, in the interest of customer goodwill, our dispatch office will be calling the customer to learn when someone is usually home wherein we can stop by when we are in his neighborhood to inspect his concerns and offer a solution. We will waive our customary truck charge for the evaluation.....if any work is needed, normal charges would apply.

I have been a customer of Blau Plumbing for several years. They call me every summer for my air conditioning maintenance and every fall for my furnace maintenance. Setting up appointments is quick and easy and they always work around my schedule. The service men always are on time and always pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Blau Plumbing for all your plumbing and heating and air conditioning needs.

Very high priced, dishonest and deceptive company. They charged me $2,700 for replacing a 75 gallon water heater that costs $985. In addition when a leak occured shortly after the install, they told me it was unrelated (even though there was no leak prior to them replacing the water heater) to the work they did, and it would cost an additional $750 to fix. I told them I wanted to get other estimates. I found the part at a plumbing supply store for $45 and had the problem fixed for under $100. I called the President/Owner who gave me the estimate to tell him I really felt like I was taken advantage of only to get the response that "we are competitive and only make $0.15 on the dollar after all of our expenses". I would never use them again and would not recommend them for ANY work.

Quick and efficient

We were very satisfied with our recent service from Blau Plumbing. They were very quick to return my message and schedule service for a sink back-up. The contact at Blau told us over the phone exactly what the pricing would be and we were in luck - there was a special for the type of service we were scheduling, so she applied that. They were prompt, resolved the issue quickly and explained exactly what the problem was as well as provided advice to try and avoid it in the future. Great service!

These guys are a bunch of crooks. I called them to get a quote on replacing my shower cartridge (shower head was dripping) and replace an existing outside faucet spigot. First of all, the guy was three hours late. They charged me $30 for a diagnostic fee when I told them the problem and another $45 for a service trip. The quote to replace the shower cartridge was $450 and $650 to replace the existing spigot. I told them to promptly leave and did the work myself. It cost me $60 in parts to fix the shower and $40 in parts to fix the faucet. So parts cost me $100 and they wanted and additional $1000 for labor for an hour or two or work (it took me two hours)! Who gets paid $500/hr?!? I will never call them again and would discourage anyone else from doing so.

This company I won't use ever again. I called for a slow flushing toilet and informed them that I had already tired snaking the toilet about 9-12 times. I thought the problem might be from a slow fill the tank was experiencing. I was informed the trip charge of $29 and $85 for the service, I agreed. They sent a plumbing intern to snake the drain. Of course the problem wasn't solved. He did only charge me $54 dollars since he was there for 30 minutes. Then they scheduled another plumber to come at 5 o'clock that evening- showed up at 6.30 after getting wrong coordinates from shop. Said yes it was the flow into the toilet, replaced with very expensive new piece 237.00 and then that didn't solve and spent the next 90 minutes trying to solve that at $25 per 15 minutes and still didn't solve the problem. Sent someone the next day looked at it said it could be this or that. First thing to unseat the toilet and run another auger would be $510.00. At this point I politely asked them to leave. They also had a great way of disrepecting the plumber that was there before them, and they made sure they got their money and that all checks immediately cleared. I was ripped off by them- do not use this place ever! I spent over $400 on something that was never solved. FYI Roto rooter came later said to unseat the toilet and snake would be $310

Great service, timely, friendly, knowledgeable.

July 1, 2015, Blau Plumbing sent David [redacted] to my home for an AC maintanence. I was quite pleased that they called when he was on his way. He arrived, identified himself and got right to work. As he finished, he thoroughly explained that the AC was in fine working order, showed me the stats on the numbers the AC should be running within, and asked if I had any other questions. He was done in under an hour. I was pleased with his professionalism.

Blau Plumbing did a great job! My whirlpool tub quit working and the technician [redacted] did an outstanding job finding the least expensive fix for the problem. Since I am selling the house, he took the time to check all the plumbing in the house and was able to resolve several problems. He quickly fixed two leaking faucets, a toilet that would not stop running and our well pump needed air added to the pressure tank. [redacted] was very knowledgeable, efficient and polite. I'll recommend Balu Plumbing to all my friends and use them for any future problems.
