Blau Plumbing spent 70 minutes at a tenants residence putting in a new inside shut-off valve just opposite the outside spigot, as well as replacing the old outside spigot which included an anti-siphon device for the price of $584! This is a complete rip-off as even my doctor doesn't charge this! Over $500/hour for parts and labor is beyond belief, so I will never use Blau Plumbing nor recommend them to anyone ever!!!

I have been using Blau for many years now for both heating and plumbing issues. Having lived in my home for 36 years now, I want someone whom I can trust to the job quickly and professionally. I consider myself handy around the house, but do not mess around with natural gas, When I needed a new water-heater, they were my first and only call. Getting a quote by 1:00 PM, the job was completed by 4:00 PM including rerouting my furnace vent in addition to the water heater, which now complies to code. There are Blau stickers on my furnace and water heater and a number of other plumping jobs around my home. There will be more.

Thanks Blau Plumbing for replacing my water softener and my water heater's relief valve. Blau's friendly staff were able to promptly schedule a technician to come to my house and diagnose the issue with my water softener and installing a new unit the following day. Everything went smoothly and as planned. The master plumber at my house was very knowledgeable and was able to provide me with some good information. I would use Blau Plumbing Inc. again!

Excellent service, professional service, informative and most helpful employees from telephone people to service representatives. I placed my call to Blau Plumbing on Monday March 28th at 7:00, telling them that my kitchen drain was not draining, at 7:33 I received a callback informing me that service representative would be arriving at my home within the hour, at 8:26 Kyle (nice young man) came in. He explained to me what he would do. He spread a sheet in the base cabinet and on the floor (no mess for me to clean up) and at 8:55 my drain was draining and Kyle was on his way. This service exceeds excellent . I was so very happy- so pleased - I didn't have words to explain just how completely satisfied I was except to say to the young lady on the phone that I was ready to do cartwheels on my front lawn. Need good service call BLAU PLUMBING! Take it fro me they cannot be beat.

We had 2 air conditioning units serviced recently and we were very pleased with the quality of the service. The technician was personable and at the same time professional. The units are both older and I was concerned that a technician would try to oversell us by saying they needed replacement right away, but that did not happen. He did a minor repair to one unit, cleaned them and let us know they were both holding up well at this point in time. I definitely plan on continuing our relationship with Blau based on the service we have received.

Had an air conditioning tune-up on 5/16/2015. The technician was prompt, courteous, and did a thorough job cleaning and inspecting the compressor.

The original appointment for a furnace tune up had been rescheduled by Blau because of the emergencies of other customers; I had been overbooked for the original appointment so I gladly accepted the new appointment. On the day of the appointment, I was called and asked if the technician could come earlier than the scheduled time; because I was ready for the appointment I agreed to the earlier time.
The technician identified himself when I answered the door. He had a photo ID, and I escorted him to the furnace in the basement. He immediately went to work and checked all of the components of the furnace ESA (tune up). He worked independently and efficiently and then explained to me which areas he had cleaned and tested, including changing the filter. The payment process was handled professionally.
I had purchased my furnace and air conditioner from Air Comfort System and when they "sold out" to Blau Plumbing I was initially concerned. However, I have found that Blau Plumbing "cares" about my furnace and air conditioner as much as Air Comfort System did (even though I do miss the technicians I used to work with because I had established a many-year relationship with them. In a few more years I may feel that I have "reestablished" the same kind of a working relationship with the Blau furnace and air conditioning technicians).

Usually when you need emergency plumbing service, one thinks about taking a second mortgage in order to pay for the work. I had a water heater and a plugged hose on the central air conditioning unit. Blau responded in a quick and timely fashion and explained what the problem was and what was needed to fix.
At the end of the day the price I paid was somewhat competitive to other quotes I received to do the work in a non emergency situation. I was pleased with the outcome.

Review: 3/6/15 I had Blau Sudden Service come to my home to remove tree roots from my sewer drain all the way to the street. I purchased their additional root-x treatment. This treatment came with a one year warranty against further root plugging. On 2/21/16 I did a load of laundry. Water backed up through the sewer drain in my basement. On 2/22/16 Blau came back to my home to do warranty work. The Blau employee put out approximately 25 feet of snake at which time the snake became stuck in the sewer pipe. The employee attempted to remove snake, but was unable. He then cut the snake cable and left my home. He left me without any plumbing. He stated that Blau was not able to address this damage. Blau gave a phone number of another contractor [redacted] Underground. [redacted] Underground came and replaced all the pipe under my basement floor which cost over six thousand dollars. While this work was being done, I was unable to stay in my home due to lack of plumbing. [redacted] Underground ran a camera down my lateral. [redacted] stated that the lateral was completely blocked with a tree root mass. [redacted] stated that they wanted to remove the roots immediately. I stated that I did not want them to address this problem because I had a current warranty with Blau for this work.

On 2/25 I called Blau to resolve the original root problem. They refused to offer any assistance or honor their warranty.Desired Settlement: I want Blau to honor their warranty and clear the roots from my sewer.

Blau's referral company [redacted] Underground observed with a camera a large root mass obstructing my lateral. The [redacted] representative stated that this mass needs immediate removal.

Attached is the warranty at issue in this matter. It reads as follows: " RootX will warranty any line treated with RootX will not plug or back up due to a living tree root obstruction for a period of 12 months after application."The customers sewer line DID NOT plug or back up due to a living tree root obstruction.....rather.....it plugged up because the sewer line was broken under the basement floor and the line had filled up with earth causing the backup. This fact was reported to both the customer and Blau by the contractor who dug up and repaired the sewer line. Because the sewer line WAS NOT plugged due to a living tree root obstruction, no warranty service is required. As of this writing, this warranty has expired, and Blau is no longer bound by any warranty obligation.

[redacted] was very thorough, kept us apprized of what he was doing and documented his findings. We have called on Blau for our routine needs as well as urgent plumbing and heating issues and have always been pleased with the service.

The Blau sercice tech arrived as scheduled and with the equipment needed. He focuses on what needed to be done.
