I bought a Mercedes Benz GLKMarch 17, The check engine light came on while the salesman took me to the nearest bank branchNo worries we will contact you and fix it next week1, I did not think a dealer could sell you a car in the state fo Colorado that would not pass emissions?!
2, This is April 2ndNever heard from them so I took it to the nearest dealershipthey said up to 4,in repairsthis is appaulingJust to pass emissionsSoon to file a complaint if not resolved

I was not in dire need of a truck as I have oneHowever I do not want to put any more miles on it to save the factory warranty, so I went out shopping Sharpest rides had a decent selections of trucks at prices I liked, but I was skeptical that once they found out I was not in need they would treat me different(Yes most used car places do make a majority of their cash from desperation)
HOWEVERNot one single time I was there did I feel that I was treated differently, or was I being usedAs a matter of fact I was extremely impressed with the candid conversations I was able to have with all the sales staff, and the personal bond I was able to build with each personI contribute this to being a good human, and talking to others as humansThey have to make money, YES, but they also have to go home and feed their family, pay the bills, and complete their goals tooGoing into any place and demanding to be treated like a elite is what is wrong with the word
I was not able to pay the total down payment, as I was really just looking and not entirely committed yetI explained this very honest and open, and guess what? The sales staff treated me honest and respectful for itThere was no push, and no guilt trips, just business between with some really great peopleThey allowed me to defer my payments for the down payment, and also cut me a very nice dealThey did not have to at all as the truck I was enjoying is beautiful and would probably be sold quicker than I was able to buy itBut because they saw that I was honest, I saw that they were, and we were able to form a human to human experience, they went out on a limb and did the deal
When you buy a used car you are buying a USED carNo one can ever tell you exactly what is wrong with it, how it was abused or what problems it might haveThe Sharpest rides buys cars from people that want out of their used carsThere are people out there that don't care about the next person and will hide the problems the best they can (Remember the saw dust in the valve cover scam to keep the engine quiet? Guess what? That was not the dealer doing that.) A car is a machineIt breaks down and will never be new again once drivenYou have to be very mindful of that when you buy a car, and if you do not check it out then do not complainSome issues are obvious and you can work them to get fixedSome are not obvious and you will feel you were screwedI honestly and whole heartedly believe that the Sharpest Rides wants you to be happy, on the road and in something that you can be proud to driveAs a Marine I would recommend them to other Marines (If you were a Marine you know how much buy here pay here places are frowned upon and even blacklisted in the Corps)

I had a horrible experience They offered me different vehicles and they all had major repairs that needed doneEvery I test drove had a check engine light onThey agreed to finally fix my vehicle but then had it for weeks with no work done and service department just figuring out what needed done after that time frame I lost money due to my numerous trips to the dealership from missing work and putting money into vehicles I had to return They were unwilling to return my money or put any urgency into making repairs that had ne without a vehicle for months timeI strongly encourage anyone who is looking for a vehicle not to even think about shopping with the sharpest rides You will regret it as I did

I bought a truck from sharpest rides months ago first day I had a issue I brought it back and was told that the person that did the repairs was not a in house employeeand that it had been done at a friend of that salesmans garage at his houseThey say they replaced the motor and put me in a loaner car for just under a month that was not fit for the rode as the tires were rubbing because they were to bigI got my truck back without any paper work confirming that they replaced the motor on a list of things they said they didI have signed a paper saying all work done at the dealership was honored for repair by themabout months later the truck was making a noise that I was told was common to the truck by their service manager *** ( this was not the last time I encountered this individual) at the time I picked up my truck so I thought this to be normalA few days later the noise got worse and then it got to where you can hear it over everything elseAt this time I parked

My purchased vehicle title information was not submitted to my county before my expiration of temporary tagsThus I was instructed to pay $for an extension for their errorThe county clerk informed me also that my submitted paperwork had changed (without my knowledge) and my loan financier on my car changedSo when I called sharpest rides and spoke with someone named Tonya, I was met very rudelyShe did not want to tell me her name or when they would send the proper paperwork back to the county office so I can properly register the vehicleI would certainly not recommend them to my worst enemy

To be honest, this was the first time I had bought a car from a car lot so I was inexperiencedAfter listening to the commercials on air stating that this was the place to go to get an honest experiance without feeling like you're dinner for the vultures (Yes, paraphrasing) I decided to trust them and go buy a new carAs soon as I got to the lot and before I even made it through the gate, I had three guys B-line straight for meAmman was the victor of the race and quite happily said it was because it was his birthday! Soon to the saleI was looking to get something pretty nice and reliable so I didn't have to worry about car repairs for a whileHe showed me a BMW 328i (I asked him about it as a frind had sugested that as a good starting point.) Over the course of a very brief test ride (it had less than miles left in the tank...) and a painfully long application process I asked about spesific things over and over againWas it AWD? RWD is all but useless in ColoradoDid it have remote start? Not super important but if I'm paying for it, I want itAnd Did the back seat fold down? Quite important for some of the things I do with my carSOafter being reassured over and over that the car was everything I was wanting and even going as far as to say that thet JUST CHANGED THE BREAKSNowon to the loan and purchaseit took over two hours for them to just start the loan, and another hour to get it all doneI didn't realize why till laterif it had been the AWD the I would have over paid by about $but because it wasn't I only overpaid by around $No wonder it took so long to find a bank willing to finance itDuring the process they made it very clear that the state of Colorado does NOT have any buyers remorse periodMeaning that the moment I signed the paper I was basically married to itAfter all of thisthe car got damaged because of getting stuck in light snowInsurance totals it, my payments tripple, Insurance doubles, and I loose my appartmentThen I get a text from Amman asking if I was still wanting to buy a carhe had forgotten I even was thereI told him what happened and his responce was basicallyEverybody knows the 328i is only RWDsucks what happenedbest of luck to yaAaannnd the icing on the cakeit's now moved a total of miles and the brakes that wherejust replacedare now metal on metal FYII'm a gas miserI hate hitting the breaksSo to recap out of all the things told to meAWD=lie

Even that it was his birthday was a lie apparently!
The ONLY good thing to come from it is the decal that I can't take off without damaging my car more has become a great way to start a conversation to save people from going to them

Where to startHere is the short version of my story...bought a truck from The ***est Rides, had it a month, complained the truck was vibrating at 50-75mph, took it into the garage to have the work "done", paid my deductible (I got 2yrs or 24,miles warranty)Got the truck back and still vibratedNotified them it still vibratedThey recommended a shop they were working with because they were overwhelmed with vehicles that needed to repair and they were down mechanicsFine, took it the the recommended garage, paid my deductible again for the same issue of vibrating 50-75mphAfter I got it back from that garage, "done", took it for a test drive and it still vibrated! Called up The ***est Rides Garage told them the problem was still not fixed and I only wanted to deal with themA month later, they got my truck in (still short staffed)During this time, I wrote the business using the email contact on this websiteI was contacted through email by Kevin *** (owner?) saying "Please, call me" with his phone numberI called him the next day and got a voicemailI gave him my cell phone number and told him to call me anytimeAnd to my surprise, NO CALL OR EMAIL How unprofessional!!! weeks after my appointment, I got my truck backTruck is fixed but took months, a total of 2+ months of it being in the garage, paying my deductible twice for the same issue, and a TON of patienceDon't buy from them! Fancy looking vehicles, horrible service from the service department to the owner! I'm thinking of contacting the whistleblowersIN MY OPINIONANYONE, from the car buyer, to the lenders, to the media, who wants to deal with professionals, should keep their distance from this company

I came in just looking for some info to plan for buying a car in the futureThinking that with my low credit score I wouldn't be able to get anything right awayBoy was I wrong! They had me lined up with a clean Nissan Sentra with just $downA big thanks to the Manager Brandon who picked out the perfect car, Daryll in finance for making the math work out, and Chauncey in Sales for walking me through the process, answering my questions and keeping it light and comfortable the whole way throughI highly recommend this place, they are laid back, yet still professional, and they will work with you!

worse service ever, bought there was not clean they told me service dept had already left for the dayRepairs needed to be done as well, a trim in the globe box and a fog lamp, I was told they would call me within hrs, no one call, I had my wife called on the fourth day to make the appointment we were told it would take DAY, got an appointment a week later, they would not give my wife a car to drive in the mean time they were doing repairs because it was only taking them DAYI called on the 3rd day looking for answers if the car was ready, service kept giving me the run around, service told me they would call me back with an answer within minutes, wich it never happened, I had to call back again they told me it would be ready Monday for sure, my wife call on Monday could not get an answer from them, they told her they would return the call, she never got a call bk, I had to call Paul one the sales sup to address the issue, finally got some answers after a while, found out that it was going to take an extra days, they kept the car for working days, my wife had to call to chk if the car was ready, when she went to pick it up she found the the freaking car had not being detailed, they told her to wait for an extra hr, she left there and came bk after an hr and a half try to look if it was ready and nobody had touch the damn car the detailer said that no one had told him anything, worse experience ever***I WILL NOT RECOMEND ANY BODY TO BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER*** I wanted to return the freaking car so bad, found out that I couldn't with this damn dealer

He made sure to go out of his way to help me get what I’m looking for and what works for me Although it took a few tries and multiple trips to get what I wanted he made sure that I left satisfiedHelmi has excellent customer service and has went above and beyond to service me

During 2017, I purchased a Maxima Nissan from the Sharpest RideAlthough the majority of the payment for the vehicle was made in cash, I financed the remainder with *** *** *** ***During the finance transaction I was asked if I wanted to purchase "Gap Insurance" for the term of the finance contractI stated I did and the cost for the Gap Insurance was added to the total price of the vehicleDuring August 2018, my vehicle was damaged by hail and my insurance company, ***, deemed it a total lossAs such, my insurance company paid me for the loss of the vehicle*** *** received a payoff for the balance owed them as the lien holder, and I received a payoff for remainder of the claimBecause I have purchased "Gap Insurance" from the Sharpest Rides and the coverage did not extend for the life of the loan, the Sharpest Ride should reimburse me for the portion of the Gap Insurance that was not used, an estimated years of coverageHowever, although I have called

Four weeks after purchasing a car from this "establishment" it caught on fire while my year old daughter was driving it home from schoolTruly terrifying for her and extremely dangerousThere was a fucombustion that required the fire department to spray it downI have photos of the incident with the "Sharpest Rides" plates on full displayAlmost everything under the hood was melted Wire and sensors are literally hanging out of a hole completely burned out of the bottomProbably a total lossBe aware that not only can using establishment be a worthless investment but it can cost you your life, health, and safetyStay away!
